Thank you for taking the time, and caring, to list all the fantastic musicians in the orchestra on this video. I hope this becomes common practice someday by other ensembles. Sound and looks amazing. Bravo. 👏
I’ve just listened to this on Gil Shaham’s official website. I’m blown away by the quality of the sound both from Mr Shaham and from the orchestra. I am always searching and questioning what is my ideal sound that I would love to produce. I’ve just experienced it. I hope you will come to England soon, I would love to hear a live concert. Bravo, and thanks for sharing!
Impeccable, all departments; especially intonation, timing with soloist leading by example. Such precision does it matter? Well Brahms wrote that way so I suppose it does.
This orchestra should make more recordings with Shaham. How about the Mendelssohn, Bruch with the Scottish Fant. ? Then they should record something for orchestra alone.
Simply amazing recording quality.. and of course extraordinary performance.
BRAVO !! Great sound all together and wonderful Gil Shaham 👋👋👋👋👋👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
Absolutely amazing!! I am so honored to watch this splendid performance!!😍
Sublime..!!!!
Allegro GIOCOSO : première fois que j'entends vraiment le GIOCOSO.!
Shaham bien sûr, mais l'orchestre... superbe, léger, espiègle. Bravo le chef.!
Wouaaaaa..!
❤️
At last - an orchestra and soloist who have rhythm and successfully play with all the typically Brahms syncopations respected and played accurately. I love Shaham's no-nonsense and straightforward interpretation together with his beautiful sound.
Yes. Without forgetting the practically perfect intonation. And he's smiling too. Chapeau
Un grande! Fantastico, meraviglioso. Guardandolo suonare, sembra che il violino sia lo strumento più facile di questo mondo...
Amazing!! But I didn't like the cadenza and the ending.
I stop on Shaham cause he seems like such a good guy. I stay for his remarkable clarity and what seems to me a very deep connection with whatever he’s playing!
The playing is SO relaxed! Especially while it is so perfect at the same time! Amazed! I collect favorite versions of this and this goes to the top of my list. To the guy, Carlos Guzman, who didn't like the cadenza or ending, that is, as you may know, the ORIGINAL cadenza, and for the ending to be timed right, like an operatic aria, is very rare and he did it!
Thanks for the 'love,' whoever you are. Can someone tell me if the whole concerto is available on CD somewhere? I grew up with the more rare Grumiaux record with the Concertgebouw and I finally have found s better version!
Гил Шахам!Мой самый любимый скрипач!
Спасибо,это потрясающе просто!!!
idolaku! Matur suksma
Bravo!!
