As sad as it is for the Cali Era to be gone, I’m super stoked for the new Texas chapter. I also have to say thanks to you for helping me during my dark times. You helped me realize my mental health is important and reaching out is better than bottling it in. I’ve also seen how you embrace being authentically you and don’t hide it, which this past year I’ve also done. It may seem odd, being internet strangers and all, but I do want to say a big Thank-You and cheers to a more positive future!

It's not dramatic at all to say Daisy was keeping you here, Emily. My cat saved my life when my mental health was at its lowest a few years ago. Your feelings are valid and I'm so glad to hear about this next chapter in your life, although I'm sad we won't see you and Rachel together anymore. Can't wait for what's to come for you!💜

You got this. Also, you should talk to a lawyer. You might be able to get some rent back if there is a leasing office and the police were involved and nothing changed for you. I once also had a looney toons neighbor and the best things that one can do to heal that kinda of trauma is advocate for yourself and hold people responsible. ❤
I'm more of a silent watcher but struggling with high insecurity and mental health myself I completely understand your decision and though I will miss you being in Rachel's videos and seeing a lot of you, I truly hope that this life change is bringing you peace and more stability. And the neighbor situation is so scary too. I had a drunk move in next to me with paper-thin walls and he would throw furniture around and cuss and sometimes ring my bell all through the night leaving me on high alert and shaking. But your neighbor sounds even scarier. It's very brave of you including your new YT career especially being aware that there will always be negative comments along with the good. It's something that has always kept me from putting me out there fully. I'm not really a horror and mystery content person, but will be looking forward to any vlog/life content and just wishing you all the best!

As a native Texan, we are so excited to welcome you! I hope Texas treats you so well. Obviously, your neighbor has issues, but it is incredibly unfair that his problems have affected your life so much. In college, I was followed home and the man knocked on my front door. I’ve never been so scared. I ended up perfectly safe and luckily graduated a few months later and moved. But there is nothing like the feeling of safety in your own home being taken from you. It was such a hard few months for me despite getting an alarm system and a taser. In my case, he didn’t live right by me and I never saw the man again. I can’t imagine being in that situation. Proud of you for choosing your happiness and making the change you need to make! I’ll be following ❤️💙

Sad to see your time with Rachel end, but by golly I'm so excited to see where this new chapter takes you. I'm so sorry you been dealing with so much for awhile now and your mental health was suffering because of it.
My mental health was probably at the worst it's ever been last fall and winter after two relatives suddenly passed away within a week of each other. And I was dealing with some hate and bullying from a group I was volunteering in.
I'm so glad you are getting a fresh start and moving in with your girlfriend. I'll definitely miss seeing your in Rachel's videos but I'm so happy you are doing something that makes you happy and hopefully improve your mental health and financial situation. Wishing you all the best on your move and transition to living in Texas. Also I'm so excited to listen to your spooky podcast. I love all things spooky and I hope you do some listener stories because I have a few. Looking forward to all of your new content and hope you have a safe move to Texas.
Good for you. I did an LDR once. Lasted 6 months before I moved to her country. That was 28 years ago and we're still together.

Emily I have really enjoyed you and Rachel together. I also suffer with mental illness. I have been with my husband for 33 years. I completely understand wanting to be with the person you love. I wish you happiness in your new adventure.
Not to make it about me but I needed this right now! My husband was offered a great job on the east coast (we currently live on the west coast so it's a HUGE move for us) and everyone is discouraging us from moving away from family here (we do have some family and friends there so we won't be 'alone') and where we're comfortable. I've been stressing so much about it but I needed this. To hear someone else making that scary leap with confidence its going to be amazing! I commend you and wish you all the best! I admire you and I am excited for more Emily content ❤

i hope it goes so well for you. I also hope that you get another dog. I lost a dog at a very hard time in my life, he stuck around through the worst of it, but I was so grateful for him. I have other dogs now, and I love them so much and i'm going through different stuff now and my kids are all moving out (adults, good things) but as an empty nester, I literally don't know what I'd do without my dogs. You talking about Daisy made me really weepy, cause I get it. I only watched you on Rachels stuff, but I just subscribed so I can see you still in the future. Emily, I wish you peace, happiness, and love. This, however, 😮is like Larrel and Hardy breaking up, the two sides to a coin not having a head or tail. I read everyone's messages to you, and I'm still in shock and 😢😢, today is a bad day.
In 2005, my girlfriend at the time was together in love, apart from her living in London and I in Manchester 10 hours round trip in a car, I would drive it every two weeks. I asked her to come and live with me and she said no, OK I was taken aback but hey life is life. After my father passed away in 2006, I decided that once everything was sorted, I would move to London. I got a job and a place to live both stressful and I moved lock, stock and barrel with my 4 cats to London, away from my family and friends into a new lovely life.
It lasted two months, and my now EX had started a thing with someone else, just hooking up and chilling. Her friends clearly were her friends, and I was just someone from Manchester, a northerner.
My life physically, mentally, and spiritually have over the last 15 years have been chewed up and spit out. I'm now trapped on my own. No friends or family left. After an accident in 2010, I'm now disabled and in a wheelchair. This is just the bare bones of everything. So, if it's the right thing for you and your girlfriend, I wish you peace, happiness, and love. Why won't she move to be with you? I'm just asking for a friend.
