I think you'll notice a difference, Tim! I found out after posting this video that Begali sets their keys at 25 grams from the factory. I arrived at 25 because it's a sweet spot for me. So, there's something about that number, for me anyway.
I have a large collection and I like to swap my keys out often. I really love the idea of a dial tension gauge to create some uniformity with my paddles. 73 om
@@WB0RLJJim that’s very hard for me to answer as I love all my keys for different reasons. I do love my RA1AOM paddles. The same single lever that’s displayed on my QSL card. But the solid state from Croatia is a phenomenal key that actually has no mechanical adjustments. I have a very special Begali arriving end of month that may take the cake. But time will tell. Hint: it is not an automatic key, nor is it listed on their website. 😊
@@WB0RLJmissed the comment (I think TH-cam doesn’t notify if you’re not tagged). I’m getting the Sculpture Janus. I think it will be here after thanksgiving
I second what others have said here. It's great to hear your voice for the first time, Jim! Feels like I have met you now :) Maybe Dayton 2025? Betsy and I hope to be there. See you on the air. 73 de K4FR

Great video, Jim. I've adjusted my pearl by feel but I like the idea of using the dynamometer for consistency. 73
