So, I will probably go back and read the other 2 at some point soon. I've never read "Skipping Christmas" by John Grisham, so that may also be a possibility as well. From middle grade to adult it all depends on what my mood will be.

Crooked House is a really good book! I also recommend The Pale Horse (for spooky seance-y vibes without Poirot or Maple) and Peril at End House (summery vibes but with Poirot). Oh and would you consider reading the Lockwood & Co series? It's really good and the TV show came out this year.
Everyone in my family has killed someone, is one of my favourite murder mystery novels. The author also has a new called "everyone on this train is a suspect." Just as good as the first one!
Oooh, Crooked House! One of my faves. Has a nice family drama/soap opera feel. I personally like the non-Poirot/Marple books best because they tend to be a bit less predictable for me. It is interesting not to really know the narrative or the detective and their skill level or motives.

I wouldn’t need 5 days to read the Hobbit, so I’d be done in like a day, and then I wouldn’t be able to fit the Lord of the Rings in cause it wouldn’t give me enough time, so it’s either just the Hobbit or Lord of the Rings I could do, and it makes more sense to do Lord of the Rings. Also Riley Marie just did a video reading the Hobbit in a similar kind of setting 😊
