Ah you finally did mine I’m so happy! Thank you for the love!! My dad actually custom made them earlier this year after my mom passed and we turned our guest room into a library. The purple flowers are an ode to BTS’ color being purple but it was also my moms favorite color and a small nod to her love of reading too. My dad actually wasn’t a fan of the Ivy 😂 The shelves themselves are a very light white purple color but it’s hard to notice in photos.
And yes that is a bts shelf/shrine 😂 I ran out of room on the smaller one so it started bleeding into the rest of them. I tried to section all the shelves by genre but they’re not organized in their sections aside from vibes lol so excited to be a 10/10! ❤❤❤

I love how mine got roasted! I stand by my glass shelves purely because my friend gave them to me for free and I’m cheap about upgrading 😂😂. I’d rather spend that money on books.

I would be read to filth. Up until literally 2 days ago my bookcase was just a very large box on the floor. And the bookcases I have now are second-hand and slightly damaged lol

i used to have cute shelfs until my cat dived head first, behind the corner shelf. lol damn goku ( my orange tabby), I had to stop having a corner one lol , now i only have 2 full-size Billy bookshelf, and my tiny billy bookshelf diffrent corner of my room :P

Omg you should totally read Kingdom Keepers! I love that series so much! just a quick PSA the author is currently comminh out with rewrites of the og series to "fit the look of the disney parks today" becasue it terms of how it describes the disney parks is hella dated (it was first published in like 2000 or something) but the ogs are so much better and longer than the rewrites so I would recomend trying to find the old versions if you are going to read them. or maybe you could do something where you read both versions and discuss the diffrences? and the spin off series called The Return is about the mcs in college and I really enjoyed that too!!

Please check out sent to a fantasy land and all the men want me by Jaclyn Osborne! there's 2 of the series out so far and they are soo good! That and Shannon Maes Demonic Disasters and afterlife adventures!
Oh and if you want something super super dirty and kinky and OMG so so good Last Courtesan of Olympus by Amanda Meuwissen. These are all MM or MMMM books all very explicit and some TW in them but oh so so so so delightful and delicious.

A little heads up if you want to read Lonely castle in the mirror, I just finished reading it last weekend and my only advice is to avoid the audiobook! Honestly i felt underwhelmed by the whole thing, mainly because i feel like its a manga or anime but written in a novel format instead and the translation makes some dialogues and scenes cringier than if i watched the movie. Like i barely felt any of the strong emotions the author is trying to convey due to the translation writing style and the whole audiobook is around 12 hours long while the anime movie is just 2 hours! i know descriptions of the places definitely cut down the time of course but i really felt that 10 hours difference 😭💔

you need one shelf rather than 4 smaller ones, the sides are taking up too much room!
Thanks for the roast/toast, I honestly forgot about submitting these 🙈 Kinda wish you would have had more current pictures, because I do have quite a few more manga now, like all the volumes of One Piece among other things 🤭 Also there's just no place on my shelves where Heartstopper looks good, they are actually pretty cute sitting on their own little table. 🥹 And I mainly go for the German manga editions, since they are easier and cheaper for me to get - so I guess I'll just have to live with these editions of Fruits Basket 🤭
