It's always fun to re-watch these episodes on Go Princess Go. I love this parody and the scenes are so hilarious. The tango dance scenes are the best especially between the prince and Yanyan.
It looked like the emperor was a much better parent than the empress. The child stopped crying when he held him. No wonder the emperor asked the empress if there was anything she knew how to do well. She tried so hard to seduce him and he was not even succumbing to it.
I love watching this scene with the baby. Sheng Yilun was absolutely wonderful with the child. Like the baby, I also like the emperor and dislike the empress. She was supposed to sit with the baby to learn how to handle the court and she felt asleep and let the baby wandered around. It is so endearing to watch the emperor and the baby, especially when the baby put his little arms around the emperor’s neck and looked up at him when he spoke. When the baby was a few months old, she told her maid that the baby knew nothing at that age. How ignorant! She talked like she really was worrying about their son, but after saying a few words about him, she completely forgotten about him and went back to try to seduce the emperor. She was such a narcissist and a horrible mother. Actions speak louder than words. If she was really concerned about the baby, she would not be plotting to kill the emperor. She came from 2015 and one would have thought that she had at least heard about Hamlet.

Are you really watched this drama or you only watch this clip.. The problem is Inside of Empress soul are not who truly she is. The soul that inside of Empress body are a man and not Empress soul.. that's why her behavior are like that becoz the man's soul got into empress body and the empress soul nowhere to be found

I do not believe that souls have any gender attached to them or any predisposition to be good or bad. Her problem had more to do with her unwillingness to give up reliving her past life and to learn from her past mistakes to forge a better present and future. When she finally did, she became a better person. Otherwise, are you saying that a man cannot be a good parent? Just look at the emperor.

It was no wonder she recalled what the emperor told her and broke down and cried because she knew what the ninth prince was up to already; her son would be the ninth prince puppet if the emperor was killed in battle. It explained so much of what happened later with her giving prince Zhao the secret weapon and acted heartless in front of the emperor at parting and fainted after he was out of sight. She wanted the emperor to believe that she was still working with the ninth prince so that the emperor would stay vigilant. She learned a lot from the emperor. She also knew who prince Zhao would choose between the 2 brothers.

The Korean version My Queen, which is a remake that came out earlier this year is also amazing. It is more fleshed out in terms of script and true to history in terms of facts and costume and set design.
I not sure that there should be season 2. I like man lead but not the girl : unrealistic. I know that all Chinese dramas show stupid girls, but I am wondering "why"?
