This is such a great drama with great acting, especially by a very young Sheng Yilun. He was able to play a stolid emperor, yet never lost that dignity while showing all that conflicting feelings so subtly at the same time. He even perfected that kind of faraway stare of a drunker person in this scene at 22, 2 years younger than the actress. He is so talented.

Creo que no está doblada al español porque según los Chinos era muy vulgar y tenía muchas escenas subidas de tono y le recortaron mucho a todos los episodios. !Que tristeza!

Can someone tell me how is pushing down a woman on the floor and her getting on top of you to beat you supposed to be romantic and healthy? Perhaps it’s lust for a certain amount of time but they are scheming against each other and then when the tension is too great, they just physically beat each other (he has slapped her in front of everyone) and make out and do it?
I do get your point but don't forget the scene is set in imperial times where men barely knew how to romance a woman or politely ask to be intimate and don't forget this is an emperor actually if they were trying to be close those times they would be more barbaric scenes and now days it's a different kind of intimacy you will find people who actually get off on pain if they don't fight to see blood it does not work for them.,,so it's not new but for this drama it was the times they lived so I would say try not to read too much into it as abuse. In our times thats debatable if it's really consent and find men are more couscous and have to have an agreement or they would have to know you intimately and what's agreed and expected before hand so not to be accused of something heinous.
