Hi Andrew, Thanks for a very informative video and especially the checklist which I will definitely use. I have done a lot of research on the Model 3 and from what I have read, Tesla removed the USS from the Model 3. However, when I was in the showroom the other day I was told that the USS is still fitted to the Model 3. Would you please confirm if your Model 3 has USS fitted to your Model 3. Thanks.

Model 3 is such a great car tbh . Telsa even has an inbuilt camp mode and i am living alone so I don't need the backseat. I have folded down the seats and its the best camping vehicle if i have to sleep at night. I just park my car and can just be comfortable on the back seat. Its not a mini van but it can easily accommodate me when i am passed out and don't want to go home to sleep lol

Fabulous review! I am an automotive fanatic and have watched thousands of reviews and yours is one of the best. I am seriously considering a new M3P or possibly a LR and until watching your review I was unaware of the $2k option to increase the power on the LR. I couldn't tell what tire size you have but they appear to have taller side walls which I consider a plus. What is your current mileage and how is the tire wear?

Great review. I think that regardless what brand or what model you go with, there will always be things you are over the moon for and choices that the manufacturer makes that you question. I had the same experience with my 2021 Mazda 6 Kuro. Fantastic car, gets like 7.5L / 100km which is fine by me. I’ll be converting it to electric once the engine dies in 10 years or so.

Nice video. Got a similar black one. Looking for wheel caps. Would you mind sharing the link? There is a flood of sellers out there and only one side fits in the correct order of blades in the wheel caps. Your car’s both sides looks perfect.

I thought that if you used the super chargers all the time vs charging at home then it makes your car charge slower in the future to save on the life of the battery.
For individual driver preferences, do you know if it will be able to also change automatically the language of the UI? E.g. from English to Chinese when the car recognise different drivers?

Electrified. Great review, seriously considering a Tesla, drove a model Y the other day and loved it.
Sorry this is my second post going throughout your video. I have to rell you having to glance over to your side to see the speed is better for me. I have a Tesla Model 3 Performance and i love the arrangement. We went out on a short 30 mile trip today in our Honda Odyssey minivan and I could never naturally see the speed. I have to slunk down in my seat to look under and look in-between the steering wheel. Made me think of how easily it is to see the Tesla speedometer.
8:00 One thing you forgot to mention - not only do they offer a change of appearance but many of the commonly available aftermarket covers are larger than the V2 aero covers and protect the entire rim from curb-rash, the std covers still expose a small edge of the alloy rim underneath leaving it vulnerable to nicks and scratches, many aftermarket covers are about the same size as a 19" rim.

My problem with black exteriors on cars, is that it attracts a ton of heat. It might not be a big deal if you live in a part of the world where you have mild summers every year. But for those of us that regularly get up to 115f in the desert, the car exterior can easily get up to 150f.
Does any one doing car share with new long model 3? Is it good?

What a great review! Thanks for this helpful info. I test drove the new EQS, M3 and Polestar and as a package the Tesla won out, all things considered. BTW Lestrange threads looking really clean on you!
I read on the Tesla website that they recommend setting your charge limit to 100% if you have the new LFP batteries. I believe yours should have shipped with them. There’s instructions online to check. Might be something worth looking into for longevity. Excellent review! You covered so many great details that others have missed and kept me engaged the entire time.
Hey man great video! I have a model 3 long range on order and can confirm your statement about the post order process. I wanted to ask you some questions: 1. Did your model 3 long range come with the LPF battery? 2. Does it come with the premium sound system? 3. Did it came with fog lights?
From all the videos I’ve watched the long range looks like it started an upgraded version of the standard range plus or RWD and it’s now a watered down version of the performance version, which I preferred but wanted to confirm. Thanks for the great content!
1. It has the NMC battery pack. I believe almost all LR + Performance use NMC here.
2. Yep and the upgraded sound system is noticeably better!
3. Yes, fog lights ftw

It is hard to square the build quality safety with the fit and finish issues. You would think if they made such a rugged and safe car they would not have things falling off of it.

My model 3 is almost 4 years old, had no problem and enjoyed driving every mile. I just laugh at all negative comments.
give it a chance , 4 years is nothing , still nearly like brand new, let us know how it is going in another 10 years.

Insurance for 2023 Model 3 AWD is through the roof, almost 3 times compared to IC engine car, doesn't matter the age and clean record of the driver.
I am in between waiting for the new Tesla Model 3 Highland or getting the current one. I am looking at the performance model 3. I almost bought a model 3 performance back in September of 2022 and I saw the price I put the deposit at. It was $65k. Now the same car is $55k. Im so confused. Any feedback/hell would be appreciated in making my decision!
Ya those bigger wheels are a no go for me. The 18" tires ride way better and better mileage.
Took delivery 3 months ago. Already had a rear door panel replaced due to rattles and I have a new rattle in the rear side bolster area. Had to felt tape everything down. The rattles are endless with these cars in time.
I have a Model 3 Performance and have owned it for about two years and have never heard any of the popping and crackling noises in my car. Maybe its because of differences in batteries? My car is dead silent.
My Tesla is a 2020 and it just got totaled in an accident three weeks ago and the person that hit me is going to pay off my car. Once i get the check im ordering another new Model 3 Performance.

I'm actually stuck with the decision of purchasing this car or waiting until the refresh version. I live in California and don't have a car at the moment. What would you recommend in my situation? This would be my first Tesla purchase, even though I've driven one before.
There’ll always be the next better piece of tech, if you’re ready to buy then I’d get one now and enjoy it right away! Especially with the great price cuts.

Number one mistake - they just released facelift model, i have seen in person, 10x better, sound insulation is amazing compared to old model 3, range improved, overall they fixed most of the mistakes they had
A number of things to clarify. All cars delivered from the Shanghai factory still get ultrasonic sensors. I have purchased over 40 new cars in my lifetime 90% of the time I had to wait until delivery for the registration plate number. I waited 7 weeks for mine as a custom order not 6 months (May 2023 delivery) If you buy from inventory you can get one in less than a week.
Tesla automatically applied a $3400 price reduction to my car after I had already ordered and had my contract, that has never happened in the history of purchasing from a dealer
I have looked through the comments, no one is asking where you get your clothes from, not that they aren't nice, just saying.
I wonder why they haven’t thought about intergrading solar panels into the cars yet? Even more savings there and your car will always be charged. Imagine roads trips without having to stop unless you want to. Now, those cars would definitely sale.
Outstanding review! Heavily considering buying the RW Model 3 before the refresh. Imo this will be the cheapest a Tesla will be until GigaMexico produces the “model 2.”
I've seen a few deals going around for the Model 3, Tesla is likely trying to clear out the inventory so could be a great time to buy if you're not as interested in the potential refresh!
@@AndrewEthanZeng If people really want to buy a Model 3 now, but also want the refresh and can't wait. My suggestion would be to just buy now, drive it for a few months, then use it as a trade in once the refresh is released.
It should have pretty good trade in value since it'll have pretty low mileage. That's assuming you didn't add a ton during the few months you had it.
It's an incredible car. The most fun ride. The only other time people are going to grin and pull their cameras out to film the experience is if you're riding in a six figure sports car. Get the performance if you want that fun.

I recently got my model 3 rwd. Took advantage of the “discount “ tesla is offering and and did not like the fact the new one will not have stalks and will most probably be more expensive

I've been seriously considering trading my P100D for a E63s. Getting taxed to own an EV car here in Victoria is just a big load of rubbish.
Looks like you need the Hansshow 10” display you can put infront of the steering wheel. It displays all your speed info, has Apple CarPlay and looks OEM.

as a brazilian all i can say it is a shame that tesla doesnt have a oficial store or a fabric in Brazil, that make the car extremely expensive, but a the same time because of BRICS we have a lot chinese car companys and many of then have fabrics in Brazil for create cars for all south America and also export for western Africa, so i think crazy how BYD is making eletric cars more common in Brazil and cars like BYD seal are 1/3 the price of a tesla model 3 even though they are extremely similar and BYD seal is actually better in many aspects, but i would enjoy see both at the same price you know, anyway great car a little bit overrated, really good video mate, sup from Brazil
Great Review!! I got my Model 3 back in March and I love it!! From the first time I opened the door till now is the same amount of love. I got the deep blue with white interior, just added the same turbine caps to the tires and it looks sick! I love your black out look too! I feel like James bond driving around. I am extremely happy with it! If for some reason your ever in Texas, You now have a free Tesla shuttle from the airport! Take care.

Loved the coping at the end about buying this one instead of the refresh 🤣 The refresh is literally an upgrade when it comes to everything they've done except the stalks which are honestly not a deal breaker. Considering you get an actually nice exterior + actually nice interior + new functional steering wheel buttons + 17 speakers + rear screen + ambient lighting + improved suspension + improved sound insulation + improved overall quality. It's a no brainer 🤷♂
Subjective take. There’s trade offs with everything in life. Personally i prefer a 2023 one before the highland. The interior lighting is cool and all but i can always add that. Don’t be so judgey. I’ve already saw the upgrades and tweaks they made.
The steering wheel stalks I’m going to wait and see once mine arrives, but having to change the gear on screen and no bumper camera or parking sensors is honestly awful.
The 23 was $7,500 cheaper because of the tax credit. I completely understand people who bought that instead of the highland.
