FYI anyone who TRIES to give away locations after I say I don't want to, will be blocked from commenting on my videos. Your comments don't show up because I have to approve comments anyway. But the fact that you would try that in my comments section shows me all I need to know.

I just moved to San Antonio, any tips or places you’d recommend for catch n release fishing? I’m from Mexico so I’m trying to get on the biggins like we have down there💪🏼

No offense, but I don't just give away good spots that I find. I put in lots of work over the years to find them and I don't want even more fishing pressure on them. Put in the work on google maps and you'll find some on your own 👌

What are you using for the lure? I’m under the assumption lute/bait plus float and weight. I’m learning new things. TIA

No sir, no float or weight involved with these lures. The lure I'm reeling on top is called a Whopper Plopper. You reel it in at a steady pace and it makes a topwater disturbance with it's spinning tail. The other one is a subsurface lure called a spinnerbait. Again you just reel it in at a steady pace, but this lure has blades that spin and thump as you reel. There's tons of videos on TH-cam showing how to use these lures, I hope this helps!

They MAY be spawning, even after this cold weather. Look for fish right up against the bank, especially around rocks. I would throw a wacky rig senko or a little Texas rig while looking for bedding bass. If you see one try to stay as far away as possible and make repeated casts to the same spot. If the fish spooks off wait and see if it will come back if you don't move for a few minutes. If it comes back, they're locked on and catchable!
