Awesome vid! Never really tried night crawlers. When I’m with my kids I typically put on a gulp one inch minnow and that works from time to time but the bit has been hard as of late. When using night crawlers what size and type of hook do you recommend to try and catch all kinds of fish?
@@jesikahelgeson2266 there's tilapia all over the river. And in not sure when they'll start stocking, but when they do, they'll do it every two weeks after that.
Great stuff Edmund!
Great advice and tips
Last week we went to the Rio Bravo in Laredo and i spent about 1.5 hours puttting new hooks cause the kids kept losing them hehehe
It’s so weird seeing someone else film in the same place I have gone lol. That’s one of my favorite spots because of the shade lol
It's weird filming in some places. Everyone looks at me like I'm talking to myself. 🤣

Good content. Lots of good information. Where are the stats on record trophy fish found?
Texas Parks & Wildlife keeps track of them. tpwd.texas.gov/fishboat/fish/action/waterecords.php?WB_code=1521
Thanks!

Me personally if ur trying to catch all kinds of small fish just use a small hook with a long shank
Thanks for the tips, good solid advice 👍
Is there only bass here or is there any trout
They stock trout in a few places in the winter, but they don't survive long. It's too hot here.
@@CheapAngler where is the best place for talapia?
@@CheapAngler also do you know about when they stock
