Was right outside here last weekend. Glad I didn't waste time and money on going in. Totally unimpressed with what I've seen here. Looks like a plain and tasteless menu. Thanks for doing what you do. Enjoy your videos. Keep'em coming! Hot dog with no condiments was an eye opener, man... 😂
this tier list saved me money, i tried the smokeshack and its good but tbh all the burger areas near there are. they have firefly burger just around the block and i think that was better? its expensive though.
Oh, I'd say Drops - they probably are my #1 burger spot in Toronto. I was just in NYC and will be coming out with that video this Friday. *Hint - your favourite burger shop might make a little appearance. I hope you check it out!
@@engkev I agree, they are very similar. Back when before BP was bought by Recipe Unlimited, I would have said it edged out Shake Shack but now, that BP has different suppliers and the menu has changed a bit, I like Shake Shack’s burgers more. Specifically the patty I think is better.
I had Shake Shack a couple of weeks ago and was disappointed. I had the burger with the deep fried mushroom. Burgers Priest does a better deep fried mushroom. For burgers and fries, 5 Guys is much, much better.
sorry it didn't hit for you in the way it did for me. Hope you're getting some 5 Guys soon - I can't 'cause of the peanut thing but otherwise, I would love some 5 Guys too!
That food looks so...ordinary. At those prices you can invest in other options in the area like the don place a couple of blocks away, or the Ramen place, or the Japanese or Korean Barbecue place. That restaurant has a lot of competition. I would drop by if their milkshakes are as good as the one that closed down a few years ago on Queen Street. They had nanaimo bar milk shakes and I was so sad they closed down.
Hey, valid take. I absolutely enjoyed the butter tart one and know several people who would take your side. I hope you get your hands on another one soon!
Everything looks pretty mediocre. I'd rather go to a local chain like Rudy or Burger's Priest. I liked your review of Elijah's and am interested in checking that out.
It's a chain spot for sure. They are consistent and I do like the Canada specific desserts. Shake Shack will always be special to me because the NYC connection but objectively, I do prefer Elijah's to Shake Shack, Burger's Priest or Rudy's. I hope you enjoy Elijah's. Is there a burger spot that I haven't reviewed on the channel that you'd like to see me try?
Why can I hear "Don't believe the hype" in my ear? This looks like nothing special to me and Im not picky with this type of food. And crinkle fries? what am I 8 years old begging auntie for a snack? Thanks for the review.
Of course when it comes to fast food made by large corporations, your milage will vary. I get that. Certainly some of my enjoyment is tied to nostalgic memories of the first time I went to NYC and tried it. If you haven't, I say give it a try and see if it's for you. If you've already tried and didn't enjoy it, your feelings on it are valid too. It's all good. Thanks for watching!

Hey man. I don't mean to be a jerk. But when you put the original burger in the B-tier after saying you were in Seoul and went you of your way to try it? You went out of your way half way round the world for a B-tier? Courage of your convictions. Higher if you're going to travel that far.
@@saintsgambit I can see how I made room for mis-interpretation, would be more fair to say that I was in Seoul and happened on a Shake Shack and couldn’t resist getting one - and the one I got was actually the SmokeShack burger which I put in “S” tier and not the ShackBurger which I would rate a “B”. Thanks for watching and giving me a chance to clear that up

Yeah, Bellwoods is supplying them with the Shackmeister Ale, a brew just for Shake Shack
Butter tart over shack attack. I don't like the chocolate custard that they put in it. The vanilla is way better.
