Mononoke was a spin off to Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, a horror anthology, which is also good. I also highly suggest you watch Le Portrait de Petit Cossette, a 3-part OVA. The animation is spectacular, has an amazing voice cast, and Yuki Kajiura composed the OST and I honestly think it's some of her greatest work. It's a little bit all over the place but it is genuinely such a treat both visually and audibly that I've rewatched it many times. There is another show called Hell Girl that is near and dear to my heart, I've rewatched it several times, however it's mostly episodic and was 100% original, so it had a small budget, and therefore entire scenes and voice lines are repeated every. Single. Episode. I know it annoyed a lot of viewers and that's probably why only the first season got a dub. It's funny how well it did in Japan compared to the West, getting 4 seasons, multiple mangas, live action adaptations, and video games. For all its flaws it has the most beautiful animation, and the soundtrack was made by the same man that composed for Shiki (and he also made the music for Naruto Shippuden!). I wholeheartedly suggest it most of all, and if you can finish the first season, seriously, PLEASE watch the second, because it is the best hands down. The third is my least favorite of the original 3 but not bad at all. I pretend the fourth season doesn't exist - it came out years later after the third, I think only to promote the 2019 live action movie.
Oh yes, I have seen Garden of Sinners. I definitely has horror elements, but I brought it up because the writer of it was inspired by Boogiepop! Dusk Maiden is very underrated, honestly I feel like a fair amount of this list is shows that are hardly talked about these days for one reason or another. I love Mononoke! I watched it for last years video, and I do need to watch the movie if that's available now. I will for sure check out Portrait and Hell Girl. Thank you for the heads up about it because I wouldn't have guessed it started off as anime original, since I'm a little aware how big the franchise has gotten. I hope you enjoyed the video!
This is pushing Shiki and Boogiepop Phantom to the top of my watch list. HAPPY HALLOWEEN AUGGIE!!! Have a fantastic and spooky day! I hope you like it, I’ve been extremely nervous about this upload cause I think people will not be happy with some of my takes 😭
@MrHunteru Even though you don't like some anime I like I still like seeing your opinions on them, hopefully everyone else can be respectful about your opinions as well 🙏🙏
Didn’t finish your video yet, just wanted to say a few things. One, I can see you’re not the kind of person who’s super into fan service so I understand why you wouldn’t like how series like Meriku-Chan and High-Rise Invasion have a lot of it. Can’t speak for the latter since I haven’t seen it but as for Meriku-Chan I remember (from my perspective) a lot of people were watching it for the fan service then stayed for it and the plot when that kicked in. Basically just like how excessive gore or excessive talking isn’t for everyone, it is attractive to some. Second, trust me when I say your take on Another isn’t wholly unique as most people who watched it (as far as I know) had the same opinion. I did to after my second time watching it. Third, I totally agree with your take on Shiki. I regretted not watching it sooner and I want to give it a rewatch sometime soon. [Edit] Ok now I finished the video and I pretty much agree with the rest of it. My comment above was made right when the part about High School of the Dead was starting (I think). The tier list at the end is fair and I think it’s a good idea to have two separate rankings based off of the anime as a whole and how scary they actually are. Especially with High School of the Dead. It does go from horror to thriller which I think isn’t necessarily a bad thing imo.
Yeah fanservice typically isn’t my cup of tea. In shows like Konosuba, I love it because it adds to the humor or atmosphere of the show. I can’t think of a show but I don’t mind it in romances either because it makes it feel like their romance is more enhanced, kind of like how I didn’t mind it in Dusk Maiden. I’ve got no issue if other people like it of course though. That is surprising about Another tho cause most people I talk to love it, so I thought I was alone in the complaints for it. Shiki is the GOAT tho god I cannot believe more people aren’t talking about it. I hope you liked the video!
Shiki truly was...peak-i But nah fr in a subgenre of vampire anime, it stands out for being actually horror for once while also respecting vampire lore and myth. It spends time telling us from medical and scientific means of what's going on in a vampire or bitten's blood, what does and doesn't work to harm them, the concept of their thralls being separated between humans that side with them and feel understanding of their situation and the more stereotypical hypnotized servant being those actively bitten and being drained, also showing how the "inviting them in" trope works as like a literal barrier that opens, and that it's really random who does and doesn't get to come back once bitten which helps with the themes of "Are they really that bad for trying to survive?" as it's not up to them how many people they feed from become vampires and grow their population. And while you said the horror dies down for you towards the end once it leaves the initial mystery around the vampires, I think it stuck the whole way just that the perspective and POV of the horror is now flipped to what the vampires are afraid of...being found and what humans are capable of once they find out which we see with how brutal the experimentation scene is along with the final like 4 episodes once the whole village finds out. Also simultaneously liked the twist of werewolves yet felt it was a bit disappointing, I do like that they're essentially just random mutation of a normal vampire, but idk I don't feel werewolves as we imagine them get much in anime outside of like...Dance in the Vampire Bund or Ookamikakushi I think? As for other series in the video, I did like Elfen Lied and Highschool of the Dead. While Elfen Lied does end really abruptly and feel unfinished, the manga wasn't complete during production, I would like to see a more updated version of the series that maybe lessens the fanservicey bits but it does feel like a series that got huge because of that first episode being so 2000's edgy gorey (to me not a bad thing, I love that shit) and then like outside of Mayu, Lucy, and Kouta's backstories not a lot really happens between there, a very "Striking while the iron's hot" perfect time for it to release considering what other edgy horror series were out at the time. Bando feels like a missed opportunity of a character that is set up to be this ultimate unethical badass that should've just been killed immediately to further show how dangerous the Diclonius are.
That's an interesting take, maybe I felt it the scare left since I couldn't necessarily relate with the vampires? 🤔 It's food for thought for sure, but I do like the idea of what makes it scary flipping around and being scary for the vampires. Shiki was peak though. I may read the manga for Elfen Lied cause I have heard from some other comments that it's much better, but idk. I'm sure if I had watched it when I was younger, I'd have the appreciation most people do for it, but I didn't so I can't understand the love unfortunately
@@MrHunteru Maybe it's written in like... .02 Times New Roman font next the genre tags. I bet they just didn't want to spoil the reveal. So considerate honestly.
@@MrHunteru Another is actually based on a piece of japanese classical literature (I would put author name but i’m too lazy to look it up rn but I think you might like it as it is a very enjoyable read)
The mieruko manga really comes into itself when miko gets a creepy tragic idol girl to fall deeply in love with her lol. But fanservice is an understandable put off
I haven’t watched the vid yet, but I just gotta say the Shiki soundtrack is legit one of the best anime soundtracks I’ve ever heard. I wish it was on Spotify, cuz I’d listen to it all the time.
Its so peak, it would be amazing if it got added to Spotify but it seems Shiki is so unfortunately forgotten in the public consciousness. Maybe that'll change one day
Elfen Lied and Another are those animes I put in the same box as Akami ga kill Really good when you're young but when you rewatch them as an adult ... yeah the flaws and cracks start to show and they aren't as great as you remember
overall an enjoyable experience 2/10 video for spook factor - did not jump out of my seat in fear - smh 9/10 video for storytelling - minus 1 for no bye bye man cameo - deeply disappointed
A anime I think you should watch is Dorohedoro, it's action, mystery and psychological but most importantly it's got great humor! It doesn't have those terrible edgy stories just for shock value like Elfen lied. But it does have a good amount of scary scenes that will make you go 🗿. I think a lot of people dissed it off because of its animation (it's 3d animation), I think it's manga is also quite unconventional. Never the less it so deserves attention 😫, it's stands out and I'd just would love to hear it talked about.
My mieruko chan theory is that the mangaka wanted to tell a certain story but then had an idea and was like “nah we are gonna pivot to this instead” and dropped in more lore and stuff. That or the fanservice/slice of life stuff was a way to get it initially published in order to get to the more interesting stuff
You know, I’ve always wanted to read the novel for Another, because I’ve wondered if the deaths come off as way less corny in writing. What made them so funny to me was how ridiculously bloody and gory they are. Also, fun fact, the authors of the original novels for Shiki and Another are married! Another (lol) fun fact, the author of Another appears as a character in the Bungo Stray Dogs Gaiden light novel where the characters were all based on living authors.
Not really a traditional horror anime as far as these shows go (save serial experiments lain and boogiepop phantom, two shows I absolutely adore), but I highly recommend giving Monster a try! It’s an incredible show with some of the most immersive and deep story and character writing I’ve ever seen. As far as horror goes, it’s very grounded in reality and is more of a psychological horror, but I tend to like psychological horror the most out of any horror genre. There’s no fan service and the plot is incredible from the beginning to the end. I will say, it’s a bit of a commitment since it has 74 episodes and starts off a tad bit slow (I personally didn’t have an issue with that) but it is 100% worth it.
To add on, I think that manga, as a medium, are (mostly) a lot better at portraying horror than anime. This is primarily due to the fact that manga are able to add a lot of more detail into their drawings and combine it with panel composition to create an incredibly unique way of consuming horror. The reader is able to determine the pace they read at which adds to the tension and creates an experience that is distinct to you. Some of the horror manga I’ve been reading as of late are Blood on the Tracks, The Summer Hikaru Died, and Homunculus. Some other manga I’ve been reading that have horror elements to them but aren’t classified (genre wise) as such are Land of the Lustrous (has really unique body horror and deals with a lot of existentialism and themes of memory and losing oneself) and Goodnight Punpun (this one needs no introduction and is more depressing than horrifying. Read it when you’re in a good mental state, literally all of the trigger warnings in the world for this).
Yooo super glad you watched Shiki! I remember I commented it when you put up that post. Happy Halloween! Edit: If you watched Another in english, one of the teachers has a hilarious line towards the end. They basically enter a room and proclaim "THIS IS NOT NORMAL". Lmao
@@MrHunteru I actually found it, it's near the beginning of Episode 12 when they're out in the rain. I misremembered the context a little but the line delivery is still hilarious if you can find the dub lol.
I'm so happy you warned about fanservice... I'm never forgiving the youtuber who recommended flip flappers without mentioning how horrible the fanservice was. i love a good ecchi, but i miss when ecchi was labled so and was it's own genre, now it just leeches it's way into everything else. I do not need it in my magical girl shows >:/
That’s actually pretty insane. I put flip flappers in a video I uploaded earlier this year, but I made heavy emphasis that the fan service could be too much for some people (especially one episode). I do like flip flappers but sometimes it’s hard to ignore the certain elements in it
I recommend reading the manga for Elfen Lied rather than just the anime, story is better explained and just a lot more fleshed out! The anime ends really early in the story, and it kinda builds the sci-fi elements to fruition in the manga!
@ I recently got into Anime a few months back and I’m finding myself on a journey lol. So far I’ve watched Parasyte, Elden Lied, Dorohedoro, Chainsaw Man, High School of the Dead. All awesome! Can’t wait for more. Let me know if any recommendations other than your vid
I would not necessarily say that series have a lot more time being made than anome movies. Most anime movies are a cut above most series because they have more time and less to focus on. But now I'm also thinking that if you add the length of a 12 ep series they usually ARENT too much longer than a 2 hour movie. What I'm trying to say is that I think just as much time goes into the movies as time that goes into shows.
Anime has way more time imo. A 12 episode anime, if we ignore ending and opening, is 22 minutes. So 12 episodes that are 22 minutes long is roughly 4.4 hours, a good 2 hours more than most movies get to tell their stories. Definitely just as much time goes into both, but anime has way more time to tell a good story than a movie would
It's weird to hear someone call highschool of the dead's fanservice annoying, since that is one of it's 2 selling points (the other is action of course). Like shows like HOTD or another famous one from the same time Highschool dxd aren't shows with inserted fanservice anymore. They are kind of built around it. People like HOTD for being incredible dumb fun entertainment. The fanservice is just as over the top as the action. people look at it, to see boobies bounce and zombies get smacked, and enjoy the hell out of it for that. It is by no means a masterpiece, but when it comes to what it is trying to do, it fucking nails it. Questioning the fanservice of a show like it, is questioning it's very nature and core. It's like criticizing a romance for having romance. It's the show's core identity. I mean it's ok to not like excessive fanservice at all, but in this case it's like watching a battle shounen and complaining about there being too much action. It's not a flaw, it's just the type of show that it wants to be.
Sorry, it's not pronounced lied, like you lied to someone. It's pronounced lead, like you lead someone to the truth. "The German phrase "Elfenlied" is pronounced "ˈɛlfənˌliːt". It translates to "fairy song" hints the music box in the anime. Sorry if it comes off mean. Just thought I'd let ya know. It's something not well known cause it's an older anime. I also think it's well loved because it's was one of few that came out over here in a time that anime was new in the west and was dubbed. It was one of the first real horror animes I saw at a young adult. ( I started anime viewing at 11 and came from a sheltered home so it took some time before I saw it. *sighs* and I'm 37 now.) Yes I'm a classic Otaku. It's a love that will be with me till the day I die and is ( I know over used but true) it saved me and kept me going in some of my darkest times, and very alone.
Everyone has got that one anime, I get it. I’m sure some of the other shows I yapped negatively about are also extremely close to people. As long as it resonates with someone, that’s what truly matters. Also it’s okay lol I’m like notoriously shit at pronouncing stuff in my videos. Usually it’s Japanese terms/names but looks like we’re moving on to German next
instead of high rise invasion i wish you would’ve done darwin’s game or kings game. kings game is the best of them all with more or less the same plot. darwin’s game is just a better version of high rise honestly.
46:36 i'm sorry if you've gotten this comment a million times before but... oh man. if you ever have the displeasure of reading the manga you will confidently be able to say it's not "arguable" anymore 😓
I had no idea Shiki was about vampires omg 'Another' was so goofy XD haven't seen highschool of the dead i've only seen that one scene iykyk Yeah that's the only thing i know about Elfen Lied: the dog death NO THANKS
Surprisingly, there's actually very few vampire anime... 1. Hellsing 2. Hellsing Ultimate 3. Trinity Blood 4. Rosario+Vampire 5. Blood Lad 6. Owari no Seraph 7. the '-ogatari' series (Shinobi / Kiss Shot, and Araragi) 8. Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Christo 9. Vampire Knight 10. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure 11. Dance in the Vampire Bund 12A. Vampire Hunter D 12B. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust 13. Vampire in the Garden 14. Shiki 15. Black Blood Brothers 16. The Case Study of Vanitas 17. Sirius the Jaeger 18. Strike the Blood 19. Vampire Princess Miyu (and maybe a few more) ------------ while not technically a vampire anime (not getting into pet peeve rant about it, lol), but meh, including it anyways: 20. Blood+ ("blood plus") ("The Saya Saga", this is the anime series of the manga, 50 episodes long) ----------- while it does have off-shoots, that at best only hint at tiny parts of "The Saya Saga", they really are krappy and have almost nothing to do with "The Saya Saga" (especially as seen by the usage of "vampire" in their titles, but we could give them the "benefit of doubt", in that they used "vampire" merely as marketing to try to sell it more to people), but here they are: 1. Blood: The Last Vampire (all the various older and newer versions, anime films-movies) 2. Blood: The Last Vampire (a "hollywood" live-actor movie, 2009) 3. Blood C (a short 12 episode anime series) 4. Blood C: The Last Dark (the conclusion'ary anime film-movie for Blood C)
Hope the Corpse Party Anime didn't turn you completely off the franchise, for the game is really good (it's basically one game in 20 editions and a worse second installment). As far as I understand it the anime was never supposed to be an adaption of the story. It doesn't even follow the beats of any particular route, that you might encounter within the game, but rather animates a bunch of fan favourite moments, that won't make any sense if you haven't played the game and understand these characters and their motivations. So give the game a try if it sounds interesting to you - it also lacks the very out of place fanservice moments that were in the anime (just saying death by hanging camel toe, wtf?). There is some weird maybe fetishy stuff - like there is a this girl has to pee moment for almost every female character, but that may also just be due to writing constraints, it's not easy to make up reasons why this character would wander of alone in the haunted murder death trap house.
I don't have a release date planned, but I am still working on it. I just get more passionate about other stuff in random intervals so it sidelines the Higu video
@MrHunteru it's actually good. Elfin Lied is one of my favorite stories and I don't feel like the nudity is done for sex appeal at all, except for some of Nyu's behavior. The Manga has less detail so nudity in the Manga is far less sexual imho.
I too love horror, and I love anime, I just have no access to any anime at the moment due to my Situation. These horror anime are on my to watch list. And no sites won't work I tried, I don't have the money for subscriptions, disappointing but hey one day 11:42 Ohhh hell yeah some yuri, the only good type of romance to me, alomg with keeping a relationship strictly private, and not doing any romantic gestures or traditional romance, because that's all creepy to me 28:30 I never saw Another, but from memes I know the deaths, like the Umbrella scene, the lightening strike, and some other deaths 33:24 Shaun of the dead reference, nice 45:17 I haven't seen Elfen Lied {Or any of these animes} but I know about the dog death... Just really sad 56:10 School-Live is definitely on my list, I'll watch when I have the access to stuff 1:06:55 My trans lesbian _a s s_ would enjoy _"Dusk maiden of amnesia"_ I know Aces would not like that type of thing, all that fanservice
Regarding dark gathering there WAS NO MORE MANGA left so they didn't do a cliffhanger just to sequel bait...some of these points in this video come off as disingenuous or just misinformed.
Well I mean, the take was neither. While I appreciate knowing there was no more manga where the anime finished now, that doesn't change the fact that I wasn't really satisfied with the conclusion and where the anime left off. We could have ended the series at multiple points to wait for the manga to catch up and I would've been happy where it had left off, but literally making the last few episodes build up to no pay off is annoying
The only series in this list that I'm disappointed with is Dusk Maiden of Amnesia. The anime turned it into a generic romcom anime. The 'Horror' part is nowhere near as good as compared to the manga.
I wouldn't called Serial Experiments Lain horror in any capacity even if it does have some spooky things and Boogiepop Phantom is an urban fantasy, along the lines of Durarara! Lain is also not on the spectrum, the show came out in 1998, at least 10 years before autism became a bigger deal than what it is today.
Happy Halloween everyone!

Ok now I finished the video and I pretty much agree with the rest of it.
@ I did enjoy it, it was good video! Looking forward to the next one.
Shiki truly was...peak-i
But nah fr in a subgenre of vampire anime, it stands out for being actually horror for once while also respecting vampire lore and myth.
…. Wait, Another ISN’T a horror comedy??
Lmao yes shockingly, it was never meant to be a comedy. It’s listed as a horror mystery/suspense series
But fanservice is an understandable put off
Freakin LOVE Boogiepop!! Best theme song ever too!! You’re right not enough ppl talk about this, and also Flowers of Evil
YES literally two of my GOATs. I hope that they'll get more recognition one day, both of those shows
I haven’t watched the vid yet, but I just gotta say the Shiki soundtrack is legit one of the best anime soundtracks I’ve ever heard. I wish it was on Spotify, cuz I’d listen to it all the time.
Its so peak, it would be amazing if it got added to Spotify but it seems Shiki is so unfortunately forgotten in the public consciousness. Maybe that'll change one day
Elfen Lied and Another are those animes I put in the same box as Akami ga kill
Really good when you're young but when you rewatch them as an adult ... yeah the flaws and cracks start to show and they aren't as great as you remember
Yeah that seems to be what something a lot of people say. I'm sure many of these shows if I'd watched when I was younger, I'd love to bits
overall an enjoyable experience
2/10 video for spook factor - did not jump out of my seat in fear - smh
9/10 video for storytelling - minus 1 for no bye bye man cameo - deeply disappointed
YOURE SO RIGHT god I reference that movie all the time, EXCEPT for the Halloween video fuck I’m a fake fan
I could see that being right, Soul Eater did something similar
You know, I’ve always wanted to read the novel for Another, because I’ve wondered if the deaths come off as way less corny in writing. What made them so funny to me was how ridiculously bloody and gory they are.
Also, fun fact, the authors of the original novels for Shiki and Another are married! Another (lol) fun fact, the author of Another appears as a character in the Bungo Stray Dogs Gaiden light novel where the characters were all based on living authors.
That's a good point, I'm sure the novels make them sound much more horrific. Idk if I want to read them to find out though lmao
From what I remembered when I read it, the horror was alot more effective, at least to me.
I've been waiting for this one
You should do musicals next! 🎼🎶🎶🎹🎻🎺🎷🎸🎤🎙
Hmmmmm maybe. Anime or movies, or real theatrical musicals?
@@MrHunteru Anime! 🖤
@@MrHunteru Witch Anime musicals have watched? 🤔
Dark gathering came out of nowhere for me and holy shit i fell in love with it. The manga is also great in my opinion
I need to get on that manga. I gotta know where the story goes!
Lmao
LMAO WHAT Man I should have watched the anime in dub that sounds so fucking funny. And yes Shiki was great! Easily a new favorite of mine :D
I do like flip flappers but sometimes it’s hard to ignore the certain elements in it
Happy halloween! 💀🎃👻🎈🎉
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! 👻👻
I recommend reading the manga for Elfen Lied rather than just the anime, story is better explained and just a lot more fleshed out! The anime ends really early in the story, and it kinda builds the sci-fi elements to fruition in the manga!
Yeah it seems I need to look into it, I've had a few other people saying similar things
The manga end of dusk maiden is very disturbing, not shown in anime.
👀 looks like I’m reading a lot of manga for the shows in this video
RESPECT!!! Love this
Thank you! :D
@@DBlock_11x Which would you say have been your favorite of the bunch? I can try and recommend some stuff based off those
@@MrHunteru all of them!!! lol but Parasyte and Chainsaw Man i would say. I’m a big Horror fan in live action so
I would not necessarily say that series have a lot more time being made than anome movies.
Definitely just as much time goes into both, but anime has way more time to tell a good story than a movie would
3:26 shiki was heavily inspired by salems lot and freakilove it
It's weird to hear someone call highschool of the dead's fanservice annoying, since that is one of it's 2 selling points (the other is action of course).
I think Mononoke is the best horror anime, you should check it out.
Edit: I’m not talking about Princess Mononoke.
The Shiki Anime is so much better then the Manga. I cried when i finished the Manga, because it felt so Bad..
HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN (why was high school of the dead so bad it was so horrible)
For all who enjoyed Hellsing Ultimate, I can only recommend Hellsing Ultimate Abridged.
One of my best friends loves it and references it all the time
Yt hasn’t notified me of any of your uploads until now…
Welcome back! You either missed a little or a lot, not sure how long it hasn't notified you lol but welcome back
It’s not Elfen LIED it’s pronounced „leed“ or „lead“
Lied is the German word for Song
Oh fuck 💀 that’s my bad. I imagine this will not be the last comment I hear about this
Sorry, it's not pronounced lied, like you lied to someone.
I recommend the anime ghost hunt.
46:36 i'm sorry if you've gotten this comment a million times before but... oh man. if you ever have the displeasure of reading the manga you will confidently be able to say it's not "arguable" anymore 😓
NOOOO really???
I had no idea Shiki was about vampires omg
'Another' was so goofy XD
haven't seen highschool of the dead i've only seen that one scene iykyk
Yeah that's the only thing i know about Elfen Lied: the dog death NO THANKS
Surprisingly, there's actually very few vampire anime...
1. Hellsing
2. Hellsing Ultimate
3. Trinity Blood
4. Rosario+Vampire
5. Blood Lad
6. Owari no Seraph
7. the '-ogatari' series (Shinobi / Kiss Shot, and Araragi)
8. Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Christo
9. Vampire Knight
10. Jojo's Bizarre Adventure
11. Dance in the Vampire Bund
12A. Vampire Hunter D
12B. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust
13. Vampire in the Garden
14. Shiki
15. Black Blood Brothers
16. The Case Study of Vanitas
17. Sirius the Jaeger
18. Strike the Blood
19. Vampire Princess Miyu
(and maybe a few more)
------------
while not technically a vampire anime (not getting into pet peeve rant about it, lol), but meh, including it anyways:
20. Blood+ ("blood plus") ("The Saya Saga", this is the anime series of the manga, 50 episodes long)
-----------
while it does have off-shoots, that at best only hint at tiny parts of "The Saya Saga", they really are krappy and have almost nothing to do with "The Saya Saga" (especially as seen by the usage of "vampire" in their titles, but we could give them the "benefit of doubt", in that they used "vampire" merely as marketing to try to sell it more to people), but here they are:
1. Blood: The Last Vampire (all the various older and newer versions, anime films-movies)
2. Blood: The Last Vampire (a "hollywood" live-actor movie, 2009)
3. Blood C (a short 12 episode anime series)
MrHunteru when are you gonna release the higurashi arc 2 for the ultimate timeline?😭
I don't have a release date planned, but I am still working on it. I just get more passionate about other stuff in random intervals so it sidelines the Higu video

Tbh I didn't think Elfin Lied was that bad
And that’s perfectly fine! We all got different wants and needs for anime, like one of my good friends loves the show. It just wasn’t for me
Elfin Lieds Manga goes way past the anime. Bando gets a nice redemption Arc thanks to Maiyu.
BRANDO REDEMPTION??? IMPOSSIBLE I have to read the manga now
@MrHunteru it's actually good. Elfin Lied is one of my favorite stories and I don't feel like the nudity is done for sex appeal at all, except for some of Nyu's behavior. The Manga has less detail so nudity in the Manga is far less sexual imho.
@ yeah I agree i don’t think it’s done for sex appeal. Although I do think that it may pop up just a little too frequently lol
I too love horror, and I love anime, I just have no access to any anime at the moment due to my Situation. These horror anime are on my to watch list. And no sites won't work I tried, I don't have the money for subscriptions, disappointing but hey one day

1:06:55
My trans lesbian _a s s_ would enjoy _"Dusk maiden of amnesia"_
I know Aces would not like that type of thing, all that fanservice
I believe it. The last few episodes were amazing, but the other 2/3's of the show were not so awesome. Would you recommend the source material?
@@MrHunteru yeah, if you want a supernatural horror mystery, the manga is much better.
Yeah I don't agree with most of what you said here. Not that it's a problem, different strokes for different folks.
Yeah it be like that. Glad we can understand each other

I remember watching Shiki one October, and then just laughed at the last few episodes lmao. Good show, but the last arc was....Lmao.
25:38 calling another classic anime is hurtful man
Hard disagree on the Another and Shiki reviews
You liked Another and didn't like Shiki?
I wouldn't called Serial Experiments Lain horror in any capacity even if it does have some spooky things and Boogiepop Phantom is an urban fantasy, along the lines of Durarara! Lain is also not on the spectrum, the show came out in 1998, at least 10 years before autism became a bigger deal than what it is today.
