Had to modify a few steps because i didnt hit the damage check but this guide was SOLID, i still got it ! Ised blood sword, genko gloves+3,trust stoned bells with agi/evade set bonus . Odin esper,ramza vc, and flash of insight vc! Had the same agi but was 10 points under attack damage . This guide made this so much easied !! Thank you !
Thanks for the video! It helped a lot with the order of which enemies to kill. I was able to duplicate the first like 10 moves with 2 less AGI than you at 105. The damage is kind of rough if you miss a crit on Jeume and she doesn't join your team quick enough to kill Velis with lower damage than you had to make sure crits landed. The last few moves were nerve racking as the NPCs weren't helping much only healing, self buffing, and then getting their buffs removed by the enemy and damaged repeatedly rather than killing the enemies.
Had to farm n get thornlet as it was extremely vital to get that chain 5, had to adjust my trust stone's, Followed each step at begining and this guide was extraordinary helpful

Even without the Thornlet (I use Tidus Necklace +6 and Blood Sword, 107Agi after T Stones and equipment for those wandering), this was perfect for me, a little different in the last moves, but overall this was a huge help
Just finished with equipment blood sword, white cape, bells(hp+speed truststone) Odin, VC ff xiv endwalker, sub you can use kitone MR with agility up or cactuar, or black rose helena to get agility up to 110
maybe i'm a little late to the game but i didnt even know this quest was there. regardless. i was able to complete it using sword of light +6,pod 153 armor, and bells with all the same but defense pierce. odin as summon, dragon king advent bahamut VC (for agi) and MR chocobo (agi) didn't have a TON of damage but once i got all the helpers, they killed off everyone for me and i sat around so i didnt run the counter up
...but sitting around would make the counter go up as fast as possible. If you dont take an action (move or use a skill) then your next turn will come as fast as possible but if you take one action itll take a bit longer and if you take both actions itll take even longer than that. So if you really wanted to delay any more turns youd want to move and use a skill (obviously minus an agi raising or haste skill). This is why people dont move after using a skill unless they absolutely need to, your turn will come around faster if you didnt have to move. Each action consumes CT.
You need to do both Tri-Slash attacks without Cetia getting a turn in between them. That’s why the agility I show is so important to be able to lap her.
With the same AGI Truststone/Equipment Setup the MR Chocobo VC works aswell (10% AGI). You still can chain down Cetia but one additional turn is needed to kill Jume because 35 Slash Attack up from the Ramza VC is missing.
I would also like to recommend the Cactuar VC as another alternative for a cheaper build. Low ATK stats, but you can subsidize it with a sub VC that’ll give more ATK like Rob’s VC or Ifrit’s VC. Cactuar gives AGI 12% and CRIT 9 if maxed awakened

@@xanderfoxjsc are you using the exact same setup? There is no secrets, only things I’m not showing are odins esper board so check that and skill for damage multipliers and light element mastery.
@@xanderfoxjsc it doesn’t need to be maxed. This quest is old, I think esper potions weren’t even a thing at that point. Have him at 99 and unlock everything damage.
@@xanderfoxjsc Go the espers, click on the esper and look into the lower left corner. You can click on the „+“ sign to add sp with these potions. Keep in mind that there are specific potions for every element. Non elemental espers like Odin and Bahamut need their own potions. If you want you can use every potion on every esper but they will loose in value if they don’t match.
Not necessarily but the agi down effect activating is dependent on wether you crit or not. So in my opinion building the critical Thornlet is recommended
@@clintbrill6112 it’s not like Odin is mandatory or anything, he’s just the most obvious choice, just use your best physical esper with highest agility and unlock everything attack on the esper board

thanks for this, i managed this fight with your move plan, very similar stats just had to modify the attacks and vc's a bit.
Thank you for the advice. I found (without Ramza VC) that 102 agility was not quite enough to chain Cetia - 104 agility worked.

Nice strats! Not executed as flawless as urs (got a few deaths) but that 103 agi that lap Cetia makes the whole fight much easier

What kills me is the game refuses to give me Robb's VC and it's in literally every video
For this quest you can just sub in Ifrit's VC for the 25% extra attack since the Crit Evade and regular Evade on Robb's VC dont really help
Or use dark bahamet
So why is Robs VC necessary?

I did tri-slasher but on the second execution of tri-slaher, it didnt give 5 chains
You need to do both Tri-Slash attacks without Cetia getting a turn in between them. That’s why the agility I show is so important to be able to lap her.
This Quest makes me want to completely stop playing the game

Have a look into odins esper board. Maybe he is not skilled for max damage.
