I'm no Deere guy, but this is beyond impressive. An incredible, quality, extremely valuable collection. Hope they can keep the birds out of that building!
Seeing that 4440 brings back many memories. The tractor I learned on. Tough, ultra reliable and smooth shifting. And it had an air conditioned cab! I know, I was spoiled, but man, when you spend 14 hours a day in one, you'll appreciate those little details. I pulled a three axle grain wagon from the combine in the field to the silos, and in Indiana, once you begin a harvest, you don't stop until it's over.
Nice collection of tractors , very nice ...
I took a sip of beer 0.3 to 0.7 ounces, everytime you said Kevin 😆👍 joke aside super video 👏
I grew up in a fabrication shop out in West Texas. We built thousands of front weight brackets for Taylor Foundry in Wichita, TX. That company made the weights for for many different brands of tractors.
thanks Machinery Pete for bringing into our homes these videos. Kevin is certainly switched on that's for sure. what's important is the warehouse is lined with timber,
WOW!!!! All of my favorite john deere tractors in one collection!
Patrick Schneider your kidding??! Really? Awsome choice
Wow... I'm jealous! You know you are a wealthy farmer when you have a collection like this. Very cool. Sadly for me, I'd have to win the lottery to ever afford any of those beauties. Best of luck in life guys, you have no idea how much guys like me envy you!
Did a lot of summer fallowing with a 4440! Nice machines
This is the guy that bid online at my retirement auction for my 4440 and 4640. He didn’t get either one of them.
i drive the 4055 back in the 80 .... best tractor ever build and awesome sound that new JD will never be the same
Like a kid in a candy store! Awesome
Thanks for letting us view Kevin, nice tractors.
That 4055 would be nice to own. I would have to use it though.
I would never be able to have such a collection. I would just use them up!
Awesome video. Kevin seems like he needs to relax a little.
that guy would love to see our 4440 with 1100 hours on it.. they would be twins. slick lookin machines right there
what a fantastic collection.
Relation still farms ,some old some new. But I never get tired of looking and hearing about the history of how they got or found the equipment you spotlight. Great videos always 👍
i like the style fenders that wrap the tires in the rear
Kevin and his brother no doubt have big money to have deere tractors in side like this , this is what separates the haves and have nots , nice vidio😎
Amazing collection! Thanks for sharing Greg.
"This is an "Awesome Video" !!!
Gotta admire the silver spoon in his eye
Awesome collection!!!!
went and saw his collection last week and it was something to see.
Interesting hobby, complex financial component. As a farm, the implement / tractor purchases can be written off. The restoration (if any) can also be expensed. Depreciation can also be written off separately. Nice tax strategy.
Wow. That is interesting. Though doesn't the IRS use models or guidelines of some sort to where extreme equipment expenses might trigger red flags?
hell i just got a 4230 four post quad range with less than 3000 hours on it!!
Nice collection , preventative care on a awesome collection
What are those 2 big tractors doing here at 0:12
Thanks for posting I enjoyed your video. Cheers.
id like to own some of his collection but it would be tough to get them out and use them ... very nice collection
Kevin is a really good guy, a friend of mine almost bought a 4020 from him.
Technically the last of the generation 2 tractors for the 4000 tractors was the 60 series. They were only made for about a year because case critiqued the 55 series because the hood line was blocking the view of the operator. The only difference in the series is the exhaust and intake locations
Thanks for the great video!
If I had a collection i’ll make sure that they are rust free and clean
I would like to see that in person
I mean honestly most peoples first reaction is " wow this is ridiculous too many, too much doe" But you know what. Like someone commented some people collect art with 1 painting costing more than all of this. If you got it, , do what makes you happy. why not life's short and too short to worry what other people think of what your up to.
I love the tractors
I hear so many birds in that shed and would like to know how much of a chore it is for them to be constantly cleaning them up! Something looked odd about how that light on top of the cab of that 4440 was adjusted....very nice collection! If I had to choose, I'd love to have one of those factory open station PS 4240's. Thanks for the video!
great video,, i am allso a john deere man,, sir i own 6330 and a our favourite is a smaller one 2130 with over 14000 hours on the clock,,wonderfull tractor, all light work slashing and rakeing hay ,,, do you have a 2130 in your collection.. i am from queensland australia.
Awesome
Old is gold
that's awesome
Nothing runs like a Deere with a new holland up its rear :D
Holy heck the prices being auctioned
I bet everything I have that neither of those guys have ever taken a drop of the government farmer welfare. If they had the foresight to do what they did I imagine they don't have any trouble be profitable farmers. I would absolutely love to get my hands on that 4320 powershift she's a beauty. After 1960 John Deere took off and never looked back I've worked on just about every color tractor and the green ones just make a help of a lot more sense.
Note I wrote hundreds of thousands of inventory. Yes, it is a wonderful collection.
i have an 81 650 with the factory loader with 342 and 3/8th hours on it.
Hey bud I've seen you on this episode on tv! I LOVE tractors. Always have. I have a '98 Massey Ferguson 231... Got a question for you.. How much do Massey Fergusons go for compared to John Deere?
Thanks!
I wonder how often they start their tractors and for how long and whether they keep the batteries in and fully charged.
All I see in this video is a bunch of tractors that should be out in the fields working.
Thrasher Farms i
He probably has a bunch of 400hp rigs out in the field. What a personality
Thrasher Farms i
Wow i hope you never get a hold of anything rare.
: This entire collection has been working 24/7 365 5-25+ years without the need to fuel up ..... working like slaves for their BALANCE SHEETS.
So did they ever locate the last SN 4000?
Hi Machinery Pete - Hope this is not too stupid a question . but what is the simplest procedure to shift the PTO in gear on a John Deere 2010 ! (Ha!) Crazy I know .... I have heard it is a two lever shift or something - mine grinds when I try and shift it in gear ... thanks much .. Gary
2wd heaven :)
Kinda wish Pete would have asked him about demand/value differences between 2WD and MFWD and PFWD. Ya know?
darion... Watch the video again. Watch and listen closely to what he sold the tractor for. I'd say its a fair assessment that the tractors are tangible investments.
Got a 1977 international 674 with 2500 hours
mark long who cares
I do
Boy with your LEGO robot controller
...and
kevin needs to lighten up
Lol. Seems like a pile of fun.
How about some compact deere tractors from the 80's?! Bet you cant find any low hour collectible versions of those!
Toy Tractor Hoard update
Thats awesome ! heres a vid of my large toy tractor collection. Never seen such a complete collection of John Deere " Sound Gard' tractors all look great are they all Powershift versions?
drooling
nice
i wonder.dosent all the rubber parts deteriorate over time?
Iam gonna apply for the job of exercising them
What is the filter you see on the 4440 drivers side?
Wow wow wow😮
One question ,,,, How much time do you spend keeping the bird shit off of them ?, because that’s all you hear in the background of the video.
Again wow🎉
Agree with robster
good
I have a 1971 or 1972 JD 4320 with 2700 hrs with a woods loader and complete set of weights - wondering what it is worth. The only thing that I have done is replace the belts, batteries, and alternator - paint is original. I have taken a picture of the serial number plate but have not been able to determine exactly when it was made - T613 021561R - Please advise if possible. Thanks Billy Moore - Maryland
Billy, is your 4320 a diesel? Is it Power Shift?
+Machinery Pete yes it is a diesel
standard trans shifter on the right
Alfred Hitchcock coming to make The Bird's Pt 2 !!!
Power shift is only one lever right
Yes but it’s not exclusive. Synchro had 1 lever as well.
I hear a lot of birds in that shop!
koji kralj ovaj lik :D
come to iowa
did you know the rarest JD 2520 was a high-crop diesel powershift
No, Don Schneider has a very valid point. This guy has several hundred thousand dollars of "inventory" in that shed that probably cost $100,000 or more. I'm happy for Kevin and hope he's thankful for whomever gave him the quarter million or so to start his "hobby". He's also right that farmers can be the biggest welfare cases in the country. Before you start crying, I grew up farming and still live in farm country. The farm programs are set up for corporate farmers, not "family" farmers.
Biggest welfare cases in the country is the truth , my area is full of the greedy fat fuckers
I wonder how many good tractors this guy has left after him
The best one is the 4440
i have a farmall super c , if it aint red leave it in the shed!!!!!, nice jd's though..
I have a 1968 john deere 4020 diesel with 1 hrs on it been she'd kept all its life still runs
Dustin...send me pics and more info your 4020! Email: greg@machinerypete.com
Dustin Greer thats a lie
Is that a museum that people of public can visit
I want to visit that place bad
some have 10000 plus alota ours have 3500 to 6800. got a 4020 with probly 15000 on it
Shut them birds up!
Thats amazing, but I know lots of people who bought these same tractors with no hours on them. They actually used them for 12-14000 hrs to make hundreds of thousands of dollars farming with them. These tractors look nice but are useless because they will never make thousands of hours unless you get tired of wiping the sparrow crap off them and sell them. trouble is they are only valuable to collectors
Who else do they need to be valuable to?
Would u sell any?
I would like to hear if know it something about a JD 4530 ? THANKS
How do you afford all these tractors and can I have a tour?
If they are large enough farmers the tractor purchases can be used as a tax write off , repairs can be deductible also .
It's actually a scam , government money for future investment .
Yeah, no kidding... someone stays busy wiping the shit off all that green paint.
gotta have Ca$h
How the fuck do people afford 17 big jd tractors.. that's what I wanna know!!!!!!
Farm Subsidies
He probably doesn't smoke or drink.
yea right
Buy stuff that goes up in value over time and you can make money off of doing nothing.
dont sell the JD 4320 its rare keep it or ill try to find it or i think ill try to find it some how
No collection is complete without a 4020.
كم سعر العجلة المشار اليها في الفيديو حجم صغير
Chirp Chirp!
💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍
my landlord has a 4440 with a shitload of hours on it
oka snapon guy how about this if its red its dead what I thought JD kicks ass
Put them to work...!!!
This kid had too much money to start with! Good God!!!!
