This is the holy grail for me. I've only seen one for sale in Canada in fifty years of looking. Made for more than fifty years ending in the mid sixties with the Birmingham Scott, with rear suspension. Maybe before I die I'll get to actually see one in the flesh. If I got to ride one, it would be up the stairway to heaven. In the meantime I've got my Suzuki t500 Titan

Your best bet is keep checking inventory with an established dealer like Andy Tiernan in England and just arrange to have it shipped over. Not too hard to arrange.

I've heard that was the world's first water-cooled motorcycle.

Like rustybum2, I bought my Scott in 1965.. except mine was £50. Took the train down to Hereford to the vendor's house (he was the secretary of the Scott Owners Club) and I rode it back home via the A49/A41 to Crosby. It was a 1948 model with those (forgive me if I get the details wrong) Dowty teles (that needed pumping up with air from time to time) and a solid back end. It purred along with a lovely tenor drone (unlike other 2 strokes) and it handled beautifully. Great bike..

Well, well, I have one of these beauties, I paid £18 for it, but that was in 1965 when no-one wanted one, restored three times since then, unique "Yowl" when you let her rip!
