LOL this build is in my meadow! the base I chose is on the small hill out front of this building and I behemoth gated both the up ramp and the down to the beach ramp. just be careful things drop down from your backside, may want to wall that off :) love your work!

Thanks man, I would like to do more in-depth tutorials but like you said they take days to edit. The speed builds seem to be more popular, I can get three builds done and edited in the time it would take to make one but I will try and find a better balance and put a bit more info in the speed builds like foundation layouts, wall and pillar highs and stuff like that :)
Okay, I'm probably not going to ever actually build this but I"m going to tell myself I will and start building up all the materials because DAMN this is cool. I'll probably raise the ceiling with the ballista up to avoid the clipping but man there's so much spaaaace.
yeah it is heavy on the mats but if you are big on breeding it gives you lots of room if you can find a good spot. Raising the roofs is a good idea, I totally did not think of the seat when I was putting them in until I sat in one :)
@@ThePilgrimzProject HRM that's true on the breeding part and I've been playing with raptors and hope to play with Deins once I actually hatch a female (7 eggs/hatchlings and all of them male so far). And yeah I could see the seat being something you don't realize until /after/ you finish the build. On of the benefits of watching those videos is seeing something like that! :D
Okay watched so long now ur videos and I wanna ask if U can show how to build castle walls but not only on flat ground 🙂 maybe U now how to do it there are different ways to make bigger and smaller bridges..like just triangle big or one foundation big..U know what I mean?? I built my variation of the perimeter a bit more wide, (4 thick instead of 2) and 2 walls higher to fit everything a bit more comfortably. It was worth sacrificing a little more space between the wall and the natural rock behind.
Yeah I bet it works a lot better being wider. This was supposed to just be the walls to the castle but there was so much unused space I though a base inside would good. I could be a bit more creative with the builds behind the walls without trying to build them to house everything
@@ThePilgrimzProjectthere is always room to improve, but dude you are light years ahead of me in creativity. I couldn't come up with builds anywhere close to this. The only way i can manage a good build is if i get ideas from others and make personal adjustments along the way.
@@ThePilgrimzProject do you use that base or was it just a temp thing for the vid? If you are using it, place tek rep in that open space along with a couple extra mounts and the industrial forges. That way those things arent further cluttering the narrow cooridor in the wall (Im thinking in terms of pve).

The building is beautiful, but the wall is a bit short. Perhaps designing a higher wall space would be better, and there would be a wider space for the turret. I don't know why all the stuff is stuffed into the wall. The wire should be designed in the wall or under the ground, so that it is much more beautiful and will not see the electric cable.
I am actually editing a video of a new wall design that is taller and wider atm :) The reason everything is packed into the walls is just due to there being so much unused space in this build. I only decided to fill the interior like that when I had finished, It also gave me more room to build small, village-style builds within the castle. I liked the way it all fits in there to be honest. If there were more decor options in-game I would have built small armouries and Gaurd posts inside the walls.
19:30 ahhh yes.. the ark problem of walls snapping wrong, causing your floor to be disjointed and uneven, fixed by practically tearing down half the build....
It's not bad to be honest, I think because it's spread over a longer area, plus I built this on my own server on PC :) Not too sure how console would handle it but I have seen much bigger stuff
God after 4 years Ark still doesn't have normal build sets. Scale the player skeleton and skeleton of creatures properly. Then scale down the freaking items for crafting we don't 20 foot tall shit. Ark has so much potential and it's ruined because they cater to Minecraft style.

How did you make the gateway connect to snappoints?
place fence foundations where you want the gate to go and it will snap to them you can space them apart for behemoth gate, I do it in the video

Atlas has a better way of doing it, having one set of structures with a cycle menu for textures
