Your building designs are amazing, so when I started my family server, I built your Viking hall for our meeting place. There is a sign out front that says "Designed by Aaron Longstaff" because you deserve all the kudos.
Jesus Christ all that roof snapping! You have an incredible amount of patience to go through all that.

I’ve played Ark a long time. TH-cam was a great source for info. Shout out to OneWing his raft builds are fantastic. I used them in official servers for years. However, Aaron you’re builds are next lvl stuff. Props man. 👍

I am a totally uninspired builder. I can do a box on a flat surface. But I was able to replicate this by just watching it at half-speed. If I can do it, you can, too, zackkage!

I've been doing the same on my server right now been fun no clue how ill model the inside you have a video of what you did with yours?
I just built this on the Island in the Northwest on the big icy formation above the ice sheet where the penguins hang out. It looks so imposing. I gated it off so nothing will mess with it.

Is this workable in vanilla/official? I'd love a tutorial for this because its beautiful
Love your builds, my server is running the new fjordur map and this theme fits very well. I have noticed you technique has changed a little from the nordic house and blacksmith build, you are using sloped walls first instead of double doorframes, and you are not placing stairs, then replacing them with ramps at the intersections of the roof. Is there a reason for this? Is one technique better for certain situations. Look forward to more builds, maybe some smaller builds, fishing huts, lumber yards, stables and such. Keep up the good work

They should let players import prefab structures like this, for the cost of materials if course.
This is great, but since its made from wood any sort of attack from stronger dino and all the hard work is gone.. tips to make it more fortable.

Just finished this build but not made it the exact same I made a few altercations so then I wasnt fully copying but blimey a 23 minute clip just took me 2 days to build lol but it looks awesome
Can u do some of these in none sped up as hey hard to follow wen trying to build ones self something like the mk11 speed boat bid was very helpful
You can change the play speed mate... click the 3 dots in the top right and then playback speed 0.25

well I tried to rebuild a smiliar roof on official and it won't let me cross ramps .... is this some kind of modded build?... am I doing anything wrong lol? .... tried placing it on different ways but does not let me cross ramps

r u using the s+ mod (structures)? it doesnt work with s+ ;) use the "normal" structures and it will work

I have problems in 11:50 i can only place 2 rows of ceilings then there is no foundation support i did everything exactly the same as you?

Hey Aaron, @11:40 you manage to do 3 ceilings out from a wall. Did you edit your game settings to allow this, because in vanilla ark only 2 walls out are allowed. how are you getting foundation support for the 3rd row of ceilings?
I placed pillars underneath then demolished the pillars once complete
@@AaronLongstaff Where did you place these pillars during your Speed Build? It just looked like you put the ceilings down. I tried to put a pillar underneath the ceilings as well, but the middle ceiling always collapses. Any way to get around that? Love the build and I am just struggling to complete this step.
I ended up just shortening those sections to 2 ceilings long...still worked, just not as large as yours. Still, love the designs, using a lot of your builds to learn how to be a better builder! Keep up the awesome work, got a sub from me!

Are you using s+, because i am having a hard, if i place all the stone fence around first, i cant put the wood pillar and put the wall behind the stone fence. I already did some of your build but this one not working properly for me

Otherwise I think what you're missing is that he's putting down fence foundations, I think wooden ones.
That way you'll be able to put pillars at the corner of foundations, instead of kind of in the middle of the edges of the foundations

I love that building so much, I started to try to do it on my solo player in order to figure out how to do it for my official after that, and I'm stuck with the ramp roof... idk if you're using a mod, a special admin command or something, but my ramps can't be placed through each other... How to do it ? Is there an alternative I could use ?

There's a setting for no clip structures which allows for this kind of building

Serge Carroll Unfortunately, no. I had to have foundations placed but I incorporated them into the design so it ended up working out.
