Nadal played in golden era ... Remember how many finals rafa lost because of Novak and Roger ... He will never be better than rafa , even if he wins more than 20 slams ... And I doubt he will
He beat nadal n djokovic tho? And stop being a lame boomer, theres no guarantee the previous era is stronger than the current era, the game is ever changing, this coming from a 90 born guy
@@berax3832 Carlos beat them were they have pasted their prime. lmao Alcaraz has a much easier path to collect his Slams. The main difference is that youngsters Novak and Nadal had to compete against each other plus Federer who was in his prime. Alcaraz doesn't have competition. Federer retired, Nadal almost retired, and he needed 5 sets to defeat Novak aged 36 years old at Wimbledon last year..
@@berax3832 no guarantee, just a common sense... There isn't nobody, not even Alcaraz whit level and consistency that big three had... For a few years you can say Endy was on that level too... Nadal Federer and Novak won 20+ slams , previous record was in open era was 14 ... You are delusional
This is such a simplistic way of looking at things. The Big 3 made each other. Sure, they we rivals, but each were necessary to each other's improvement. Without any of them, there is no legend of Rafa, or Djoko, or Fed (or Murray for that matter, who did his part as a challenger insanely well). They would have been considered all time greats, but not at the status they are now. In the case of Alcaraz, it's harder on him to not have this rivalry. Id he doesn't, since Sinner seems like a possible option, but damn the poor guy is injury prone. I'm not saying that he would become as legendary as those 3, but he still should be considered on the same skill level as them, if he keeps this up.
alcaraz is still 21, theres still 4-6 years for him to get to prime athletic age, and another 10 years to get to the end of his career. people that says "he will never be as good as big 3" is just furious seeing him so young and achieve what the big 3 havent in 21

he will win more titles because he is hard working and humble.
Hope so, it's still too early to say
I think he will be better than Nadal.
How and why?
Where is the competition?
Never
Not on clay
