And even despite that he managed to collect 244 yellow cards and 29 red cards in his career. Ultimately just a scumbag who also had no issue with intentionally injuring his opponents. Compare players: Carles Puyol: 108 yellow cards, 3 red cards in his career. Paolo Maldini: 90 yellow cards, 4 red cards in his career. Javier Zanetti: 53 yellow cards, 2 red cards in his career. Lilian Thuram: 74 yellow cards, 3 red cards in his career. Fabio Cannavaro: 134 yellow cards, 7 red cards in his career (and he was considered a very rough defender) etc. Hell, Ramos is even worse than Pepe who was universally hated for his brutality. that guys has "only" 183 yellow cards and 17 red cards over his career.
