- A quick look at a more compact Piranha lift mechanism using a screw lift. The screw lift replaces the rack and pinion lift of the previous mechanism.
Designed using Autodesk Fusion 360, sliced using Ultimaker Cura 4.12.1, and 3D printed in PLA and Tough PLA on Ultimaker S5s and an Ultimaker 3e. - วิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี
Thank god for the coin at the end!
Old habits are hard to break...

Once again, an amazingly clever design!
Thank you iceman198, I truly appreciate it!

Fascinating to be able to achieve the same result with two different mechanisms 👍
Yes, and I've got at least one more! :)

Very cool! Do the switches connect to a relay? Piranha is one of the characters that deserves more love!
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it!
No, the switches do not connect to a relay, the reversing switch is a DPDT switch.
Greg
super cool
Thank you kao8855, I again appreciate it!

Did the screw lift run that smooth straight from the printer? Or did you do some post-processing?
Either way, it looks like a nice and compact solution!
Hi epiphaner,
The screw lift ran that smooth right off the printer with no post processing at all.
Thank you so very much, I truly appreciate it!

Simple and efficient! Very cool, I always over complicate things. Could you share which Stop switch you are using?
Hi Cross1g,
Thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed it! The roller switch is part number CYT1096 from Cylewet.
Thanks again!
