I like the 15-35 but definitely feel like the 24-70 is more versatile. Good work man

Both lenses are up there for me.
Both have my favorite focal length, the 35mm. For some reason I lean into that focal length a lot. It may be a phase. It's also in my 28-70mm.
I actually used the 28-70 to make this video and I loved the stickiness of the AF. Pleasantly surprised by the image that came out of it.
      Thanks for the comment amigo!

For me 35mm is good allrounder, but for lots of situation it is too narrow for me, even 28mm pancake is sometimes too narrow. I often shoot 14mm with samyang 14mm 2.8 on my R5. But I hate to always change all the 14mm, 28mm and 35mm lense several times in a hour. So I perhaps will buy the 15-35 :) Or I use my 28mm and do 3-4 vertical shots and stich them together to get a good panorama which looks good as a 15mm photo, too

The 15-35mm is exactly what you need then.
I had a similar problem to yours. I was tired of switching lenses because all of those focal lengths I use for recording video. It's the best investment I made and it's my most used lens.
      There is a slightly less expensive 14-35mm but I believe it's a f4.

@@TMVVisualMedia good to know, thanks! yes I prefer the 2.8 version, I waht more light and better Bokeh for wedding and event shoots.

Oh yeah, you will love the 15-35mm then. Excellent choice.

@@TMVVisualMedia yesterday night I searched hours for sample photos, lots of jpg looks good, but then I found one page with raw files, and I imported and edited then with my own sharpening, they look way more sharper and fine detailed than all the normal jpg samples, as if I had doubled the resolution. I am very impressed now!

I use it primarily for video because the image is super clean. For photos I don't use it as much but on the R5 with 45mps it's great.

I would recommend the lower-priced one for video as well. It's great.

@takemyvicture I have both 16 mm and 35 mm but on r10 for hand held video is not as good , pictures there are the bomb .. I need a good video lense with in body stabilisation for travel. And the 18 to 150 3.5 to 6 ish looks good but that variable apertures is a bit to much ..I need to test it.

@lifetimestoriesphotography, yeah I love my copy of the 35mm on a full frame. It's my go to for video and it's my favorite focal length. The 35 has stabilization but on a crop sensor the 35 is really tight.
I would be looking at the 24mm with stabilization.
I also suppose it's also important to consider the type of video work you want to do.
For my use case I keep the 35mm on on of my bodies all the time for on the go. But for my TH-cam videos I use the 15-35mm. It's big and expensive. But very nice at 2.8 and f4. Which is where I keep my aperture.
Consider following me on Instagram where I showcase work done with all my lenses and camera bodies.
      Thanks again for the comment.

Also I hated being at 15-20mm stabilized and getting the wobbles 🤦🏾‍♂️

Facts! Rarely vlog. Maybe I should start. But I usually lock of my shots.
Im learning a little bit about filming and one of my favorite creators speaks about letting the action develop in the scene and lock off the camera.

@@TMVVisualMedia The lock off shot is definitely clutch! I’m curious as to who the creator is. And the wobble wasn’t so much from vlogging but just going handheld wide in general

The guys name is Vuhlanders I think. The spelling might be wrong. But he puts out cool artsy stuff that is beginner friendly.
At least I think I have the equipment to pull off some of his treatments.

This is tempting... but guys, if you are on RF platform... 28-70 f2.0... My wallet was crying but worth all the money. Again, would love to have some more wide angle so here I am on the fence again

This is my low key most used lens out of all my lenses.

But, I’m only carrying 1 lens. Instead of 4 lenses. To me that’s worth the extra tax.

Some may not be able to afford the L series.
