- My family was all gathered in one area to attend my Father's funeral. To pass the time and liven up the mood, I let them experience the pilots view of FPV Drone flying.

Blessing's to you Steve and your family I just buried a dear friend of 25 years, carried his casket with his sons and brother. My dad is 94 and he loves being flown in the goggles gotta do it again next time I visit him.

So sorry to hear about your loss. That said, I love everything about this video. FPV is an amazing gift. For me it is often an escape. A coping mechanisem. And so much of the FPV fun is sharing with others!

A quick story
When my mom passed when i was 27. So many friends and family came. My birthday was a week after my mom passed and most people were here. My passion was playing piano and singing. I was really into karaoke at the time. My family decided toa celebrate my birthday with me i was ccompletely torn at the time. Well my dad convinced me to start singing kareoke at our house. I felt my mom was there listeneing with her beautiful smile. The love in the room was amazing. It was the start of my healing.

This how it's done. Get the whole family involved. I did something similar (except with my planes) in 2017 when my mom passed. Was handling funeral arrangements and flying planes to clear my head. This hobby is awesome.

Fun Fun. I put my 70 year old mom in goggles about 4 months ago. Wish I would have recorded it. She did good. Started telling where to fly cause she wanted to look at stuff.
Man best wishes once again moving forward. You guys may not always get along, or maybe talk that often, but you folks are beautiful family.

It sucks that a lot of the time we are so busy and can only come together as a family to celebrate the life of a lost family member. I'm glad you were able to have some time with your father right before he passed. I wasn't so lucky. Condolences on your loss of your dad. I am touched to see how you shared the FPV experience with your family members. I have done the same with different friends and family. It helps for them to be able to get a glimpse of what it is that makes this sport so attractive to those of us that have made it a passion. It also helps to let them know why we find it so addicting.
