Short answers and right to the facts/checking your map. It feels like so many people just say that because they feel entitled to have a public trail to themselves. Regardless of if you're hiking, horse back riding, mountain biking, or dirt biking, always double check what the trails are open to for that time of year. Sorry you decided to hunt right on a multi-use trail... not my problem. I'll be respectful to your horse, but if you're a dick about it, screw you. I'm ignorant to this so I may be wrong, but I feel you probably aren't allowed to hunt directly off of a multi-use trail. Seems like it'd be dangerous. Shooting off somewhere not knowing if the trail (or an offshoot of the trail) is behind what you're shooting at with a family hiking on it or something.

Amazing singletrack! As both an avid MTB and singletrack guy (KTM 300xcw), I dont get it.... Theres been plenty of times on my MTBs Ive come across MCs on designated non motorized trails and never the need to play "trail cop". Each goes their way and thats it.
I’m in oregon and we have several hiking trails that’s open to motorized use near where I live. Most people just don’t know so they think you can’t ride them.
Great job with the map and knowing your stuff. I have had trail police do the same to me and they get shut down quick. Complete dipshits. Most think they can intimidate you but I do the same. Call the law and while your being a biotch im firing the bike and having fun.
He took longer to argue with you rather than get off the trail and let you pass and you would have been long gone, everyone who has ever driven by game on a tractor, dirt bike or car knows the game doesn’t spook easily unless you stop and look at them.
I do both. Been hunting for about 12 years but been riding dirt bikes for 40. And they are just complaining for no reason. You 2 were probably the only bikes they saw the whole time. And from my experience your not going to spooke deer or elk very far away if at all.
As a long time mountain biker AND Dirt biker I can tell you the Mountain bike startles wildlife way more than Dirtbikes do. I think they are accustomed to the sound and don't equate any bad experience whereas the quiet occasional twig snap of the pedal power really spooks the animals. A big percentage of Elk hunters here in Colorado come from out of state for a week but really seem to have a sense of entitlement and aggression I don't understand. The Irony is they use our trail system to travel thru the backcountry then complain when the very vehicle that built and people that maintain the trail system shows up. Speaking for myself I don't mind if you utilise trails I help maintain but understand how it got there and be thankful you are not bushwhacking.
People don’t hate dirtbikers. What they hate is people putting loud asf exhaust on raspy 2 stroke bikes and zipping around while constantly zipping their throttle. It’s super loud and obnoxious. Biking is fun, but some asshats seem to think it means being as loud as possible.
I love trail Karen’s! It’s awesome when you can show them using Gaia GPS that the trail is open to motorized vehicles. They sit there with their mouth open in disbelief. For the most part mountain bikers are more on our side than they are on the hikers because hikers shame, both dirt bikes, and mountain bikes for “erosion”. You just have to be respectful of the granola crunching hikers and show them they’re wrong.

It’s in Idaho. I don’t usually like to give too much detail to location on this platform. Reach out to me on instagram if you would like more.
@@dirtbike-diaries All good I totally understand! Thought it looked like Idaho. I'm over in Washington and Idaho is definitely one of our first stops. Looks like incredible riding. But okay cool, appreciate it man.
Nice trail lads, where in the world is this please ?.
Idaho
Looks awesome
My first thought was Washington it's pretty similar 👍✌️
Where is this? Beautiful country 💯
That looks like an awesome trail ride. Do you guys ever need to pack extra gas ? We almost always need to pack extra gas, longer than normal trail rides. Weather we are in the Rockies, or sand. Have fun ride free
Typically don’t have to pack gas but on occasion might bring a small bottle on some of the longer rides.
Hate hunting season. Some hunters act like they’re the caretakers of the forest when they only show up during hunting season.
I just hate when they decide to hunt on dirt bike trails, like wtf are they thinking. They have a lot more options than we do when it comes to trails they can be on
Felt sorry for the horses because that guy carrying such a heavy loads!!!
Amazing trails
Sweet area to ride! 🔥🔥
Amazing singletrack! As both an avid MTB and singletrack guy (KTM 300xcw), I dont get it.... Theres been plenty of times on my MTBs Ive come across MCs on designated non motorized trails and never the need to play "trail cop". Each goes their way and thats it.
The same. Both an mtb'er and moto rider. No reason we can't peacefully share multi use trails.
I've never seen a trail with a motor. 😂
That's the normal terminology in many western states.
I’m in oregon and we have several hiking trails that’s open to motorized use near where I live. Most people just don’t know so they think you can’t ride them.
He didn't want to compare navigation; he wanted to tell you that you were wrong. Throttle-up and ride on.
Beautiful trail. Where is this ?
Great job with the map and knowing your stuff. I have had trail police do the same to me and they get shut down quick. Complete dipshits. Most think they can intimidate you but I do the same. Call the law and while your being a biotch im firing the bike and having fun.
Epic trail
He took longer to argue with you rather than get off the trail and let you pass and you would have been long gone, everyone who has ever driven by game on a tractor, dirt bike or car knows the game doesn’t spook easily unless you stop and look at them.
🤘🏻 🌟 🤘
Were is this it's so beautiful
lol why would he tell you - pay your dues
He said elsewhere that it’s Idaho.
Got a little sketchy toward the end of trail.
his wittle howse goona be scawed
Where is this cause I would love to ride there
I do both. Been hunting for about 12 years but been riding dirt bikes for 40. And they are just complaining for no reason. You 2 were probably the only bikes they saw the whole time. And from my experience your not going to spooke deer or elk very far away if at all.
Nope i literally rode through a herd of Elk last week in a gulch with steep mountainsides. They ran maybe 50 yards tops and went back to grazing.
I see more wildlife, deer, moose, elk, from my dirt bike that I have ever seen hiking
hahah "then call em then" as he walks away in shame
Between the pine beetle and what looks like a past fire that place is messed up
After this year there is nothing left to burn. It’s all gone.
Should have asked the horse!
what App do you use?
He just mad he packed in vs rode lmbo.
For sure. What took us an hour prob took him 3-4.
People hate dirtbikers. I don’t stop to chat anymore. Cause it’s goina be bad news for me. Wave and throttle.
Won't be killing anything today Mr Fudd.😂
hey, what app were you using for that map?
Avenza with the forest service maps. Works great and it’s free.
What were the bikes? Sound like 2 strokes
I ride a Sherco 300 se and my buddy rides a husky te300i. Yes both two strokes.
You are on a HORSE!!!! You do not need a trail. I never had one when I rode my horse in the mountains.
He is just mad because you MIGHT scare his deer.
Yeah I get that from a hunters perspective, sorry, not sorry. I wasn’t doing anything wrong.
5:45 is what you came here for
Das leben ist zu kurz um sich ständig aufzuregen.
In Deutschland noch viel schlimmer 🙇🏻.
Where is that trail at?
