I’m on this “quest” now having never reached perfection in stardew, came back to the game after years away recently and can’t believe how much more there is to do than I ever knew! Have been struggling to find them all (walnuts) the past few days, so good timing for the video 🍓
So glad I'm not the only one who struggled with the Simon Says puzzle!! Placing pathways as golden walnut markers is a brilliant idea. I was using a running note on my phone but I will definitely use this the next time around!

15:26 It's not 2, 11, 9, 5, 7. Actually, it's 1, 10, 8, 4, and 6. You have to click on the flute block 1 time less than the actual number because every block is already set to 1! Surprisingly, no one in the comments pointed that out.
I had 117 walnuts for so long, I completely forgot where I had already found most of them so this was so helpful!!! I have 124/130 now! My OCD needs perfection in this game lol 😂
I have 129 and did it without a guide and now I don't know what to do. I cannot for the life of me find the last one. EDIT: i did the stardew checkup and found it!

I put on the really long hair and when I put on a hat (or the Pan) it shortens my hair to above my shoulders. >.< A Tip: Blue Discus in a Fish Pond have a chance of giving a Banana. I think that is how I end up doing the Banana Altar Quest every time. But you would need to be on the Farm Checking it and maybe going back and forth a lot.
Hair number 57 I believe is the one I got on here. Thanks for the blue discus tip! If I was trying to get this done without staying on the island for the most part, that would have been perfect. Haboo did a 24 hr perfection run and showed something about moving the fish pond at Robin's when it has something to harvest, to change the item that's in the chum bucket. I didn't even think about that, so I gotta try that next time I try get the walnuts.
Hi hi! I'm just reached Ginger Island with my friends and I was wondering if it's absolutely necessary to use the counter tiles? My friends went in blind so now we have no idea how much they got from where... is it possible though to use the Parrot's Hint to tell us how much is left where?

Haven't things changed in 1.6 that digging is different? I wondered if this would affect the time it takes to get them all now. It doesn't affect me, I was looking this up to send to my mum so she can do this without hassle so I wondered what has changed

It is possible to find all the walnuts on your own, it would just be very time consuming. When the update first came out, you wouldn't have been able to look it up because people hadn't found them all yet.

common glitch! go to your in-game chat and use the command /recountnuts and it should rectify itself. if not, you are either missing one or there's another glitch. the walnut up the west coast next to mr. qi's room can sometimes fly off the map. if it does, there is no solution unless you notice it when it happens and you restart the day. i know im late but hope that helps!
If you check the walnut door, it will tell you how many you have collected out of 100. If you use PC you can upload your save on the Stardew Checkup site mouseypounds.github.io/stardew-checkup/ and it will tell you exactly which ones you are missing.
It is always random how many walnuts you get. For example I'm stuck at 4 walnuts from the mussels since multiple in-game weeks. That's because it is propably not programmed to spawn a walnut with the third, sixth, eleventh mussel-stone you break etc. So you need a bit of patience, your walnuts will spawn one day :)

How did you get the gem birds gems without finding them. Can you use the gems or it has to be the gems they dropped
It doesn't have to be the exact gem dropped, it can be any of the same type that you have or find.
