Cool guide! Did you know there's no need for scarecrows in Ginger Island? Saw you place one when planting the crops for Gourmand Frog and Island in general, but there's (fortunately!) no crows there

Thanks for the guide. I needed 1 more walnut for perfection and couldn't find it, and when I saw the slingshot one I thought to myself "Well I know I've already done it, but why not shoot it just because?" I then shot it and the walnut dropped. I was so sure I got it as well. I haven't been bringing my slingshot because that's the one walnut I was "Absolutely sure that I had". I can't believe that I was missing one I knew the location of this whole time.
Finding that last walnut is sooo annoying, glad you finally found it!

if you're slow like me and you're on PS5, complete the level of crystal puzzles you're comfortable with doing, then when it gets to confusing to keep up with and press your ps home button on and pull out your phone and go to start a video and then hit the home button to go back in game (pausing doesn't prevent the puzzle from continuing i tried that) then record the pattern with your phone and hit the home button again, watch the video until you memorize it, then Rinse and repeat
I just used save clip and kept playing it back!

Yay! This helped me find the last one. The parrot told me it was in the north, and I was going through volcano dungeon with no luck. I watched this video and figured out I was missing the one in front of the trader in the middle of the 4 pieces of grass, not the volcano dungeon like I thought. Thank you!!!

Glad you enjoyed it! I actually touched on this in my lost journal notes video. The ostrich is obtained by getting the 10th journal scrap (X marks the spot) and use your hoe in that spot in front of the Volcano. You'll also need a Ostrich incubator, and that is obtained by completing the Island Field Office!

Which path are you referring too? If its the hidden one, you need to tap you A button close to the top to shake it off the tree!

I'm confused because on the thumbnail for this video it says "in order to follow" so I thought that meant like a linear path, but within the first three walnuts you get you start talking about the puzzle which you technically shouldn't be able to do because at least one of the birds is on the other side that's locked by a turtle, but you show that as being the walnuts number four through eight so I don't understand how that is in order to follow if it's jumping ahead to something you aren't able to reach until you've unlocked other sides. I wish somebody created a guide that didn't jump ahead.
Its in order to what is available first. You can't access the puzzles when you first reach the island. It was done in this way so you could follow on day one of arrival

Bruh. I didn't know about the one behind the marsupial. The 1 walnut in the north message from Leo's parrot is driving me crazy 😖

Another useful video! I think I've managed to find between 115-120. Didn't know some of the methods were repeatable until recently so that should help.

I don't believe parrots can take golden walnuts as it is currency on Ginger Island! Your lost items however will be at the Adventure Guild

So for some reason some of these dont spawn for me (1:20, 2:54, 4:59). Did these get removed from the game? Because not even the bushes are there. Or are they unlocked later? I just got onto the island a few days ago (it's my second savefile tho, so I wanted to get through it quickly). Any advice? :/
They should be there, they weren't removed. However if they aren't there anymore, you may have already picked them up. best to try and get the other ones and see if you're still missing some!
@@Fuzzireno The bushes ended up appearing out of thin air shortly after I completed the large fossil. I don't know if that had anything to do with it but I'm just glad they're there now lol. Super weird.

Like a Dinosaur infected area? Yes! This is a great way to kill them to complete one of the Adventure Guild's challenges :D

You could store the things for the frog and just use some seedmakers if you have them :)

I don't believe the farms are smaller on console. I don't play in console, but they should still be the same!

You'll need to finish the Community Centre/Joja Mart program! Willy will send you a letter to tell you he has something to show you. Head to the door at the back of his shop!

i didn't open the resort and i need 3 golden walnuts to open the resort and i fear I'm stuck. I'm on year 5 of my replay and I'm afraid of having to start over.
Have you collected the walnuts all on the West side? (Farming, puzzle, slimes, mussles, etc.)
They'll always be a way, you might have to revisit some places to double check you've collected them!
@@Fuzzireno i have terrible memory but I'm sure I've collected all the ones from the puzzles and i keep checking the mussels but I'm not seeing anything. I've solved all of the puzzles, even the rain birds and the journal scraps, the bones, (i might get a couple more from fishing but I'm not sure)
@@wartygourd The mussels will randomly give you 5, so will farming and fishing. Maybe double check the West and North side, and see if you've collected your rewards from the Research Office!

Head to Leo's tree house to the East and speak to his bird. The bird will tell you where to find the remaining ones!

Are all of these puzzles referenced in books or clues?
Some are referenced in the Journal Scraps of Ginger Island, however a lot of them are needed to be found. That is why the parrot at Leo's hut helps you with clues!

how do I get a banana ?
By planting banana saplings. Either purchase them from the Island Trader with 5 dragon tooth, or it can be found by breaking golden coconuts!

I have two walnuts left, this guide helped me get two more of the four I was originally missing, but now I’m not sure where to find my last two and which ones they were and Leo’s parrot just keeps squawking at me 😂 I’m hoping the last two are the pirate dart game, I’m pretty sure I’ve only played it once so fingers crossed but this was so helpful!
