Despite all the flaws of the bayverse transformers, god damn did they do a good job of making Shockwave look and sound like a badass. Shame they did one of the most powerful and feared decepticons so dirty in the movie though in terms of his role.

I suppose he still is a scientist. Shockwave most likely created the Driller.
As for the "assassin" script, just pretend it's a typo for "scientist."

@@hazeshiro2673 yeah Assassin doesn’t make sense, they’re silent stealth killers… which doesn’t fit as Bayverse Shockwave has the Driller… defeating the purpose of an assassin.
