All the subtle details made this game great. Metroplex calling Optimus the 'Last Prime' sends chills when you realize that the previous primes and Autobots had dwindled significantly in numbers, and that Optimus was their last hope. Megatron commenting on how the autobots relied on a Cargo ship to escape truly shows how the Autobots had to use whatever they had at their disposal, having to fight and put up with so many sacrifices that the sacrifice of Metroplex was even needed for a low tier ship. The Ark was all they had in order to travel into a vortex they knew not a single thing about.
I think it's also telling that the Autobots left the last ship they made for themselves. Fall of Cybetron's intro shows numerous, perhaps even more streamlined vessels escaping the planet en masse. The Autobots had also fought all the way until Iacon was literally a City of Dust. There's even dialogue where a 'Bot mentions tearing out parts from a dropship for the Ark. The Ark wasn't a glorified cargo hauler so much as it was an Apollo Mission-Era rocket with added cargo space and held together with thoughts and prayers.

War & Fall of Cybertron are two of THE BEST Transformers games. I didn’t know they were part of the Aligned Continuity around the time of their release. In a time where the Bayverse movies kept giving disappointment after disappointment (yes I’m looking at you Age of Extinction), War & Fall of Cybertron gave us a modernized G1 TF experience that the Bayverse films failed to deliver. Loved Animated, Prime was just phenomenal, but these two games deserve some serious praise. Specially Metroplex. He went out like a soldier.
Honestly prime being part of aligned continuity makes it a bad contradictory since the storyline are pretty much different from each other. Prime is good series i can tell, but the contradiction in story was just a mess.
The war devastated Cybertron. I wish Hollywood would dived deeper into this aspect of the franchise instead of rainbow good guy save the day everything okay bs we got so used of these days
Most of the FOC cutscenes have their own OST and can’t be separated with audio files, I’ve been looking for the soundtrack for the Trypticon cutscene ost for ages and can’t find it because of the same issue
Really funny how when Optimus found metroplex he just immediately had him break all the decepticon’s shit. Makes sense but with no context it seems like Optimus is just super petty and it’s funny to me.
@@anonim9597To be fair, Autobot were busy dealing with decepticons. They didn't have enough time to awakened metroplex. Not to mention the current situation on Cybertron. It makes it difficult for Autobot to awaken metroplex.

The problem is, Megatron and decepticons would've kill (Or atleast omega supreme killing Megatron first) omega supreme earlier due to fact decepticons uses their intelligent to dodge. Not to mention how big omega supreme was (Which was advantage for Megatron since that alone caused Megatron and his lackeys to reach the big guns)
