Dash cam hard wire installation VW Scirocco, Golf 6 and Tiguan. How to install a front Dash cam

#AlexTheGrumpyOne here with another video for you :)
This video has been requested many times on my channel and Facebook. I found a very good kit for under £100 that includes everything that you need to fit your dash cam on your car.
This is on my VW Scirocco, but it is also the same on VW Golf 6, VW Golf 7 and Tiguan as far as I am aware.
The quality of the product is great and on top of that if you lucky to get the offer you will get back at least £20 on the dash cam :)
Please be careful when choosing the fuse!!! Also the ground point will be one of the screws that hold the fuse box or bolt in to the metal!

Just ordered this for my 2017 Scirocco R, someone hit me the last day and didn't leave a note or anything €300 damage so said it was time to get a dash cam. will be following this form my instal, cheers!

Do you have some tips or maybe you make a video😅 how I get the second rear cam connected? For don‘t popping out the airbag by accident I would turn of the 12v connection in my car.

Haha yeah I'm going to make one soon on the rear dash cam. Its a bit more involved but not too bad
Nice 👍🏻 will wait for it. I got an panorama roof, but I think that does not matter? I have orders a spooling cable to get the cable from the front to the back of the car.
I'm curious how you can get the cable through the rubber part on the rear window😅🙏🏻
No problems :) yeah that doesnt matter it goes either on yhe top pillar or through the bottom covers
Finally I did it 😂 2 year’s of pushing the task away from me - I installed the rear cam and it was really easy.

Would you consider doing a Intake Manifold removal video on the Scirocco? Lots of people getting the p2015 fault so need to replace it, but no decent videos about to show how, and none for the TDI for definite! Cheers

I was hoping to install the repair bracket but I have the plastic manifold like you, which requires the manifold to be removed to install annoyingly. But I'd like to remove it and give everything a good clean anyway. Thanks 👍
Yeah I think it will definitely help quite few people out there and that's what it is like about :) I do appreciate your suggestion and I'm sure others will as well. I will put it on the list and try and sort it out as soon as possible 😉
Having just followed this great in stall video everything works as it should but using a switched live means that the G sensor and parking mode doesn’t work is this correct?

You can set up the G sensor to work as it has got battery life in it. So if somebody hits the car or etc it will record for a bit.
