    The scirocco R runs 35mm lower springs as standard so that may be a cheaper way to go than after market equipment.

    Hey man, very cool video. I skipped through to the end as I won't fit them myself. congratulations for lowering the Scirocco, it looks doppe.
    I check all the comments, and I muss ask if the ride quality is indeed the same or more stiff?
    I personally don't have this DCC in my rocco R, so the whole ride is by default stiffer. Even the steering is quite heavy, and many times I wish I have a softer steering. but it is what it is.
    So, can you please enlighten me?:D

    Great video shame I live down a rough road otherwise I'd consider lowering my scirocco.
    Quick question Alex I have got an annoying knocking noise coming from the rear passenger side suspension, I originally thought it was a drop link so replaced that no change but whilst under there I noticed the bump stop was destroyed plus the rear arb bushes so I replaced those as well as the top mounts whilst I was in there but none of these have sorted it. When I had the shock out on both sides I could easily compress them & they wouldn't rebound I know that is signs of a knackered shock but I don't know if the DCC shocks act the same or if they are controlled by electronic current?!? If you could shed some light on this I'd be very grateful 🙏

    • @AlexTheGrumpyOne
      @AlexTheGrumpyOne  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you bud!
      Yeah 35mm was my limit on this roads haha.
      So the Shocks on DCC still need to be able to rebound properly as a normal ones. I have to replace my front one now because of that. When I have don't the springs I've found that one shock was OK and the other one didn't even want to go up by itself haha.
      Although they are adjustable by dcc they still should be able to have resistance and etc.
      So I would replace them to be honest.
      Also have you had a look at your rear D bushes? They can create a noise.
