Great Tutorial! Been thinking about making a better avatar picture like the one I have right now. I have a FULL Model of the character and just needed to figure out the lighting and proper rendering which is in a separate video.
You are an absolute legend!! Because I watched your tutorials, i was able to create this amazing character based off of a sketch i made in 3rd grade! Thank you so much, I can't describe how happy I am.
I'm curious what button I missed. Using the 4.0 version . I choose Area light exactly as you did......moved it above my model but there is no immediate visible lighting effect . S will not scale the light but there IS an option in the light Menu to Size the light/ Power settings does nothing also. The file is quite large so I see a "user perspective -scene collection l area rendering counter ticking away....but even when it says "rendering done" I see nothing . ( edit - when I switch from AREA to SUN it works beautifully .....hhhmmm ?? )
Hello. For an experiment I want to make a model of a flat earth. But I don't know how to change the pivot point of the light so that it rotates from the center of the flat earth. I think you've already seen the sun on a flat earth. It makes circles with the center of the disk as its pivot point. How do you achieve this ? Thank you
Helpful tutorial, but I would recommend setting up a camera first and lighting to that. Start with the key light first, fill lights should be a cooler color than the key and change the overhead light to a rim.
Thank you for this amazing tutorial! My laptop crashes while rendering even tho I am using Eevee render engine. That's because my pc is not strong enough. Do you have any tips to decrease the crashing issues?
How does the lighting from other programs affect the model? Things like VRChat, other virtual reality programs or model capturing programs like mocap suits, etc?
Hi. I have a question. I have my model painted and all that. But when I change my view port shading to rendered display, my model loses its color. Can somebody please help.
Hiya, you remember me from your first blender video and I can’t believe I reached this far! But I have a broblem with my character when rendering it into a picture, whenever I render my character into a picture, the picture shows my character chin turned into blob almost like a swim ring, pls help
This series was primarily just an introduction to the sculpting tools in blender, remeshing is a topic I'll probably cover in another video dedicated to optimisation for games, animation etc.

If you at the step to lighting you already supose to know how to import object

Tysm!
Thank u so much man
Brooooooo thank you
You are an Angel ❤
Thanks sir 😊
What about remeshing the model?
This series was primarily just an introduction to the sculpting tools in blender, remeshing is a topic I'll probably cover in another video dedicated to optimisation for games, animation etc.
wonderful tutorial
Thanks for this!
i7 processor is good for rendering?
you need gpu
A CPU helps in Blender, but it is more about graphical processing relying more on your GPU 😁
Love your tutorials!
the tutorial is just awesome!
Thank you 🤘😁
