Over past 6 months, Tony & other TCAF guests provided commentary how historically things show how this is likely to happen. However, the pandemic seemed to break a lot of these "typical" economical trends and outcomes (at least insofar). Would be great to have reflection of some of these comparisons later in 2023 to see what typical trends did not pan out. So can any prior indicators really predict what may lay ahead in 2024?
Always great to hear from Tony even though he admits he's "confused", as are all the experts, because every aspect of this market/economy is unprecedented. This year will be stomach churning and no one should expect to get ANY timing right.
Also a political science major! Hearing Tony mention that gives me some hope that I could switch over. I’m a recent graduate. If anyone has any advice on how I could best position myself to get into finance, specifically wealth management (my first interest), I would appreciate it! And thank you Josh and Mike. Listening to your podcast over the last few years has been enlightening.
Question for next show: Can you explain why there will be a huge opportunity after the market goes down another 10-15 percent? Other than the obvious buy the dip. Could that be why the market has ripped, because other investors think the same thing and don't know where the bottom will be? Your thoughts?!!! Lol
