Thank you SOOOOOOOO very much for talking about this! I am in bed now dreading going to an event I was invited to by a newish friend. I want to be invited but then hate to go! Listening to this as I get out of bed to get ready to go. 🤞🏽

My avoidance of people and events comes from the fact my experience tells me they and I are on different wave lengths - interests, values, etc. I'm extremely unselfish, empathetic, humble, transparent, want to play fair, share, take turns. With most women and nearly all in my profession (real estate) I find people to be cesspools of shallow self-absorption. When I do find a "nice" person wanting friendship I find they want something - MLM sales, a solution to their smothering neediness etc.

This resonates with me. I realized after moving to a new state that the past 10 years of friendships were me being generous and truly caring, and not receiving much in return. Even my closest friends didn’t come by to help me pack or say good bye. Eye opening. Now I am very cautious and don’t “help” or invest myself like before.
I have a rule to never purchase an mlm item or do parties because I always respond by thinking the kindness or interest shown is authentic, not s calculated plan to expand a down line.

@@leialoha70 that’s relatable. i have moved to distant states twice (one of them in the past year) and the fallout has been a lot both times.

I love this channel. But I'm not sure if I passed it up but I was looking for something from you guys talking about celiac disease and ADHD link? I think that would be a good topic to talk about. How hyper focusing leads to fatigue which is one of celiacs symptoms. And how ADHD triggers it.
