The students of Kyoto school (Miwa, Kamo or the others) are NOT prepared for Shibuya, if Nanami was the minimum to fight against the Special curses and ended up ANNIHILATED by Jogo, even Hanami would have killed them.

True but I think Shibuya was all about how none of them were ready, even the Tokyo students. Choso beat and nearly killed Yuji and the only reason he's still going is bc Sukuna healed his body by taking over, Nobara could hardly handle Haruta and we know what happened after. Even Megumi barely managed to save the Zenin/Nanami team and even if they escaped the Domain, would've had to still deal with Dagon/Jogo, but still got his ass kicked by his dad before then Haruta forced him to call Mahoraga and end his own life. The Tokyo 2nd years also were unable to do literally anything while they were there, every sorcerer was just outclassed here and Kyoto would've just been extra casualties
Hell the only reason they even had a chance against Mahito is bc Yuji understands his own soul's shape since he shares a body with Sukuna, otherwise both Yuji and Todo would be cooked

The other school got purposefully moved away by Mechamaru. That was explained in the previous episode.
Mechamaru knew everyone from Kyoto was gonna die if they were there. Todo is the only one who has already proven he can handle himself with strong curses. (Killed 100 high level curses in jjk 0. Megumi mentioned it in season 1 as well)
Yeah todo comes in as the ultimate duo with yuji. He always has his back especially in this fight against mahito
any fight that Todo and Yuji teams up is a sure victory

Not that i even would know but soldiers dont have the luxury to cry while fighting, or thats what i understood when he was sharing that experience so i think the author went for something like that.
This is not AOT, and not a demon slayer, in which the main characters do not die, but only minor ones, and only occasionally. In season 3, you will be in suspense from every fight, you will now worry about every character. In season 3, there will be even more action, even more epic, even more interesting characters that you will love, and even more tragic deaths
(I read the manga already) If we're talking about "main" characters dying like Demon Slayer there's plenty of "main" characters dying in JJK. Nobara just finished kicking the bucket and can consider Nanami like the Hashira to Yuji maybe not in terms of strength but definitely importance.
All of that just to them coming back in the end 😂
- For Yuji, losing Nobara and Nanami isn’t the worst part…him letting Sukuna kill thousands is….thats why he’s “accepting” death, so Sukuna can die with him.
- “where are the other students?” ….all of them except Todo is weak…and you saw The robot die lol Mahito killed him.
- “getting into high gear” = he’s adapting to boogie woogie.
- yea unless you have a technique that specifically targets the soul OR you have the ability to use RCT then you can’t do anything to Mahito.

There is so much truth in what mahito says in the beginning monologue. Quite literally the parallel to Yuji. This villain is up there with Madara and aizen when it comes to philosophy (maybe a stretch but it's up there)
