Just so you guys understand how megumis technique works he has to first summon the shadows be it the frogs he uses or the owl/bird andhe needs to beat it in a fight to subjugate it. When he beat it in a fight he can summon them whenever and control them however he likes. He just summoned mahoraga because he thought he would die either way so why not take that piece of trash haruta with him😂 that‘s also why he said i‘ll be dying first because he didn‘t subjugate mahoraga before. I mean nobody ever did subjugate him to be fair . Also fun fact megumi tried to summon mahoraga way back in episode 1 when yuuji switched to sukuna for the first time. U can see that because of the hand posture he‘s doing. And for your question why gojo said to him u understand what i‘m getting at he said that because way back in time there were two people fighting each other and they both killed each other like gojo explained in the flashback. He also said that one of them basically got the same powers as gojo so he was as strong as gojo back then. The other guy had the same technique as megumi and like i said they both killed each other and you guys can imagine how hard it is to kill gojo. Gojo said that to him so that megumi realizes how strong he can actually get. Hope i explained in a way that u guys understand and sorry for my gramma english is not my first language. All correct, except the fact that Gojo's ancestor is not as strong as Gojo; he just had the same technique as Gojo, which would make him the strongest in his time, but he's not as strong as Gojo. Gojo is a different breed, he's the strongest of the 6 eyes users.

Mahoraga was never a threat to Sukuna in this fight. Sukuna never had to heal. He was having fun and just tried to figure out what the deal is with this shikigami. At the end of the day, Mahoraga is a threat only if all possible attacks were used on it

he wasnt strugguling, but for mahoraga to be on par with a sukuna (without counting DE) is still a huge feat only maybe gojo and yuta can reach.

This is the tenth shadow, which Megumi so wanted to use in a dangerous situation. Megumi is potentially the only magician in the world who can match Gojo in strength. I think now you understand what you need Sukuna

Just a couple of quick things:
- Megumi doesn’t have to die to release Mahoraga, the problem is he’s not strong enough to tame it.
- It’s not a “waste” to release Mahoraga on Haruta….Megumi just broke in and out of a domain (almost impossible), survived a fight vs Toji, and then got gashed across his back. He was gonna die and releasing Mahoraga was the only thing he can do to protect anyone else from Haruta being a rat.
- Megumi can’t be stronger than Gojo…Gojo is the strongest 6eyes user and he knows about Mahoraga.
- The anime made this fight look closer than it truly was…this was an easy fight for Sukuna (just like how Gojo could easily kill Mahoraga)
Just like before, Sukuna effortlessly defeats Gojo, with the only difference being that this time he was playing with him.

@@elgoblinax8796 The shrine has the split and dismantle technique, and if Sukuna did it from the beginning, Mahuraga wouldn't have been able to adapt because the shrine has two techniques, one for things that have cursed energy and the other for things that don't have it at all. The writer made that clear in the episode at the end of the fight!!

@@elgoblinax8796No the narrator expressed as a doubt if it will only adapt separately or as slices in general . But mahoraga did adapt to slices in general as we can clearly see the shrine is not affecting him after he adapted and the narrator said his adaptation is complete. If Sukuna did not have fuga it would have been difficult to defeat him .

Mahoroga's wheel over his head ables him to adapt at any attack once it revolves which means if Sukuna didnt finish him in that fight it'll last longer and will probably lose to Mahoraga since his attacks are not gonna be working, hence why the Gojo Clan''s holder of Six eyes and Infinity died before
This fight is easily the best fight. But emotionally I’m more invested in the fight against mahito especially after what he does in the next two episodes. Excited to see your reactions to that fight
10:06 I had the same thought once but then again they said in the first episode that Yuji is the only vessel that can hold Sukuna. “One in a million chance”, I think was the phrasing. Had it been anyone else he’d have died right there. So I don’t see how Sukuna could take over anyone else’s body. Maybe he can take someone hostage and force Megumi to use his technique, that’s my only guess. (Haven’t read the manga so anyone please DO NOT confirm of deny anything. Thanks.)

Itadori isn't the only one that can house Sukuna, but he's the only one who can overpower Sukuna's control. Meaning, Sukuna can take over anyone permanently, except Itadori who can withstand his control and not let him use his body. As explained in Shibuya, they had to give Itadori 10 fingers all at once in order for Sukuna to briefly take control over Yuji's body, and that even if Yuji consumed all 20 fingers, if they were spaced out, he would still have control of his own body.
@@MPERTER Idk maybe it’s the case but I remember Megumi clearly saying that if Itadori swallows the finger, he WILL die. And also that the reincarnation of the dormant Sukuna was just a one-in-a-million worst case scenario.

But now that it had manifested, Sukuna can change vessels if he wills, though with some downside because the vessels are not as resilient as Yuji’s. What is special in Yuji isn’t only that it had manifested, a “one in a million chance,” but that he can overpower Sukuna’s control, that’s why Gojo said that because Yuji can overpower Sukuna, he has potential that weren’t seen “in a thousand year”

I think you guys are missing something. Sukuna knows nothing about 10 shadows as you could see from his reaction. Second, Sukuna also knows nothing about the Zenin and Gojo clan fight, simply because nobody told him.
Then why does he need Megumi? Simply because he needs a body where he can move freely like he says to uraume. Cuz Yuji let's be real, he's a CAGE to Sukuna.

Mahoraga's ability to adapt to all enemy attacks and gain invulnerability, but Mahoraga also decomposes attacks into components. If Megumi takes control of him, then Mahoraga's abilities will pass to him
Mahoraga can adapt to anything, including getting himself bigger, growing gills when sakuna threw him into the water. Based on the power of an opponent techinique, his needs to spin his wheel more times to adapt to it and basically become immune to it. This is how his overcame Saturo Goju limitless technique and killed him in Manga!

Itadori is the main character but the author sometimes forget about him or giving him character development haha.
Megumi is another main character but more in a support role but his technique is freaking strong thanks to his family inheritance. And Sukuna interest on him, well be developed in the third season and above.
Gojo has the role of a mentor but he's so charismatic and strong that he feels more of a main character than Yuji.
one thing is garanteed from the start of the show and dont worry its not a spoiler everyone with brain that watches the show knows that a sukuna vs gojo fight will eventually happen, like its been teased through out the show

There are moments in the fight where Sukuna is throwing feint's at Mahoraga, beginning around 16:47. You can see Mahoraga brace for the cuts and try to counter by throwing his arm into the cuts to use as projectiles, like at 16:05. This was Sukuna's way of "corrupting" Mahoraga as a joke. Just another point that Sukuna could have ended Mahoraga instantly if he wanted to.
sukuna at that moment could never end mahoraga instantly unless he opened his domain in the beggining of the fight, his normal cuts where never enough to kill maho through his regeneration

If you remember when Sukuna drink and eat something, as a king of curses he doesn't eat food of humans. So he basically, drank and ate those things to make Yujii vomit at the end. Sukuna is an extreme bully😢.

Goio see Megumi's potential, but Megumi don't have the experience and mindset yet. Remember when they are playing the baseball? If you'll observe when it was Megumi's turn, he didn't hit the ball at his best but in an effective yet not in a 100% way. And you can see how Gojo react to Megumi's move. Just like fr the 1st episode, Megumi is always suicidal, like if he can't take down his opponent and even didn't even think thoroughly or he is not confident his own ability, he always try to release Mahoraga which i think is stupid. If the shadow technique achieve his best, he can control Mahoraga yet Megumi, as you can see don't have the control yet.
