Starlancer Mission 16

Well.
Last mission was quite a doozy, though not quite in the best of ways.
Regardless, the war is far from over, and remaining forward fleet of the Coalition in this area needs to be taken care of.
That means WE need to take it out.

When I first went through this mission and heard the voice of the last surviving Vampire from the capsule, I seemed to feel his desperation. When Ivan Petrov blew it up, my eyes became wet... I felt so sorry for him and the entire Vampire team.
There are such sad deaths in this game... Or maybe I'm just too sensitive. Farewell, Vampires!

My favorite moment in Star Fox 64 is shooting down Pigma and hearing him scream "This caaan't be happenin'!" My response -"Death on the battlefield comes regardless of class, royal or common. The loser must die!"-Griffith, Berserk

Great playthrough, as always. Cool that you stayed to shoot down 2 Sabers before making the first jump - hellz ya! In retrospect I can see the Coalition's strategy, with the timing of their attacks. The developers weren't just inventing random waves of enemies
It's sad this has so few views, this is the best run through of SL that I've seen on YT. You're a good pilot, way better than me

Trivia fact: Did you know that I went through and destroyed 2 different Extreme 3D Pro joysticks just by playing Starlancer?
Fortunately, my X-55 Rhino managed to survive this particular most recent playthrough. It's sturdier, I suppose. Heh.

@@CptPakundo You should do a video reviewing the brands and models. I can see the difference a joystick makes vs. a mouse or controller in the other SL vids. Much more realistic flight sim

@@justsomeguy3931 default mouse is almost unplayable due to the horrible dead zones, keyboard is managebale on easy and with murican auto-aim fighters. I beat this game with X-55 couple of times and it was fun, but I found out, that joystick emulation is the way to go and just sold Saitek's contraption.

@@Scorch0017 When I went through this game as a kid I used a mouse and keyboard, it wasn't the greatest lol

@@justsomeguy3931 Yeah, I somehow managed to complete it with a mouse first time, while having a terrible score and failed secondaries.
