About the video: A 5¼ minute video of Elaine who moves to Vancouver after the death of her husband, the problems relating to finding new friends, understanding a new community and fitting in, not to mention ageing and the feeling of being invisible when wanting to reach out. WESN heartily thanks Elaine for sharing her story.
About the project: The West End Seniors’ Network (WESN) is a well-established hub for seniors in the densely populated West End of Vancouver with 30 years of operation. WESN improves the quality of life for adults aged 55+, by providing social, educational, and recreational programs and services that foster connection and inclusion within the community. WESN wishes to recognise the funding contribution of the First Baptist Foundation.
