About the video: A 6½ minute dramatization on how through not knowing about financial supports to seniors, and due to the high costs of market rental accommodation can cause a drain on finances, seniors can become to feel isolated due to poverty and shame while lacking in direction to community supports and programs. WESN thanks Janet for her implication in the making of this video.
About the project: The West End Seniors’ Network (WESN) is a well-established hub for seniors in the densely populated West End of Vancouver with 30 years of operation. WESN improves the quality of life for adults aged 55+, by providing social, educational, and recreational programs and services that foster connection and inclusion within the community. WESN wishes to recognise the funding contribution of the First Baptist Foundation.
