This run/walkthrough of Mega Man Zero 3's purpose is to show off more of Zero's potential via the EX Skills over charge attack spam. As such, charged attacks (excluding Recoil Rod, since there's universal utility with it and it's damage sucks) will not be used after the intro stage. You can see the entire no damage run split into individual videos by viewing the playlist at the end of the video or at the bottom of this description. But I must stress that this is a SEGMENTED speed run, not RTA.
I'm going to be doing something like this after every run, where after I've uploaded all the individual videos, I'll compile them all into a big movie to give love to viewers who prefer longplay-style videos while still being able to upload per video like I (and many of my regular viewers) prefer to.

The funny part is that until I found your channel I didn't even know that the air/ground rolling slash existed in others Mega Man Zero games (except from Z1).... Lmao
It’s harder to find in the subsequent games. Z2 requires a form which I never got and I’ve only used it in Z Chaser, Z3 uses an elf, and Z4 uses a chip.

Well I may not have done a “S” Rank or no damage run, but I beat zero 3 without using any elf’s or sub tanks. Every time I completed a mission I saved and when I died I reloaded the save. Thanks for the motivation bro

also, I love the references in this game, sully things that were brought to "past" games like Cactank being somewhat of a successor of Tornado Tonion, and Mantisk from Dark Mantis. Also, how blatant of a copy Fusion Omega is from Omegamon.
You are right. I never knew that the similiarities now between Dark Mantisk and Deathtanz Mantisk. Zero 3 did come out first but I think that X8 made Mantisk to make a connection to the zero games. The references to the other X games is more than I thought in the zero series. I only thought X7 and X8 was referenced in the zx series( Model A's copy ability and identical appearance to Axl).
@@marcusmayo sadly crapcom has officially denied that Livemetals are made from the elf-memories of the warriors and that model A is made from Axl (also, that the Sage Trinity [Master Mikhail the Wise, a mix from Cossack and the strategist Serges, Master Thomas the Fierce, from Thomas Light and Violen is the strongest and the leader, Master Albert the Cunning, from Albert Wily and Agile, the snarky traitor. Also, the whole connection between Sigma, Axl, Lumine and Wily plays a role with this one, Model W and Weil. Not to tell about how they were humans improved by cybernetics {proto-carbons? A link to Rockman Dash?}, which pretty much is what happened to Weil] is made from data on the great Counter-Hunter trio, and that just like Dr. Lumine, Dr. Albert is an childlike androgynous genius that infused himself with the Axl System.
I actually just beat this game with an average score of 97, so close to that 100 pt clear. Thanks for the tech guides.
you may get this question a bit, but how do you do 1000 slash immediately after something like a jump slash? am i not mashing hard enough or something haha
You have to mash Recoil Rod while saber slash animation is still active.

Great video!!I noticed you charge your weapon while doing regular attacks,how is it possible without doing a charged attach?
Type-B controls. Allows you to split main and sub weapons to their own buttons.
I really never liked the change in animation on the plunging attack in Zero 3. I thought the one in Zero 2 looks quite nice. if they'd kept the physics of the Zero 3 version and kept the animation from Zero 2 it would've been nicer I think. For me at least.
And for some reason Z2 is the only one where you can move while plunging

Because defeating Phantom is a special case that negates the deduction. Any other usage of it deducts points.

So much wow , I would farm the water stage for extra lifes , as I would die alot during the boss fights and after a while I became good enough that I had half my life but I had the extra heath thingamajig, really hated the volcano stage that took the longest especially the iceburge platforming parts , I would beat the game in under 3 hours and charge my gba

I meam, is the last phase of a 3 phase boss, they needed to make sure players wouldn't die too much at him.
Omega has 3 Phase.
If you always die at his final Phase, youll just get annoyed
