I'm so happy that Viv confirmed Vassago is going to be a good boy. I'm kinda tired that every Ars Goetia so far (besides our boy Stolas and Via) were not the most likeable characters. Vassago looks fun just from the design alone. Excited to see more of him! ❤️

Well with the two headed theatre overlord. There is a possibility he will become a Goetia. There is the goetia Dantalion who is known for theater and is also known to have many heads. Perhaps this could be a possible vivziepop version of him.

That would be interesting if the reason Bee is so aloof and tries to get everyone high on life is specifically BECAUSE she's the absolute leader of Hell (like implied Ba'al was supposed to be) and she just doesn't like having the responsibility or burden so she makes everyone drink their problems away. That may be what Loona saw in her given she calls her "fake" twice. Similar to Husk calling out Angel and attempting to read Alastor, Loona has very similar parallels to Husk so she may be the one to ultimately get Bee to confess. She really looks up to Vortex, he may be a kind of therapy like figure, like a big brother figure to her to help her cope with the pressure. That'd be a cool plot twist.
I've hoped for a longtime we would get Ars Goetia other than birds. Marquis Forneus and Duke Vepar are depicted as a sea monster and merman, respectively, and would probably live in Envy. In regards to Bael, if he's a separate demon from Beelzebub, I would imagine he's a close relative.
Vassago could potentially still be considered an Overlord in Hazbin Hotel, as Rosie being Hellborn does open the door for there to be an Ars Goetia who is also an Overlord of Pride

Hellborns' rank are lower than sinners' yet they are a noble family and are above normal sinners; they're not even goetias, which is confusing. About the blood part, my theory is they're the blood from sinners' body that they ate. Some cannibals might be hellborn but some are sinners who sold their soul to Rosie cause in the war, they bleed red though we didn't see that on others who survived. Charlie also didn't seems to care that they died, she cares more about the sinners. This could be a plot hole, but I guess we must just wait until season 2 of Hazbin Hotel

Before the trailer for the second half of season 2 I thought the Ars Goetia in Hazbin were a tall powerful species of avian hellborns but apparently I was mostly wrong about the bird
I gotta admit putting THIS much effort in to this show is what makes Cartoon Universe really good to watch. This isn't fanon territory like you see even on the WIKI itself, but stuff with actual hard evidence or strong evidence based either on in universe phrases, or direct references, and he also admits up front when he's getting into speculation territory. I really appreciate that.
I had to come back, at 10:05 the raven/crow is Raum, the 40th demon of Lemegeton Ars Goetia, who steals treasures from kings and wears them where he wishes. Often depicted as a crow standing atop a pile of jewels wearing a crown. Has a distaste for 'dignities' (thinking about classic idea of that, essentially born nobility/privilage). Also knows and keeps secrets and is good at reconciling friends and foes. Also can invoke love. He's an Earl. (maybe he'll play a part in reconciling Stolas and Blitz, being in a position that understands both sides?) Malphas is a good argument, but Malphas is depicted/described as a mason and builds houses/towers. (oldest depiction being shirtless holding a trowel)
This is just a theory of mine, but since Vassago seems to have the power to find lost things and see the future maybe he wants to talk to Stolas about the possible cataclysm that will destroy creation and that seems to be connected to Octavia. Maybe Stolas' Grimoire will be lost or stolen and Vassago will help him find it to get more answers about that cataclysm and the prophecies surrounding it.
When I saw the crow in that pic I instantly thought it was Earl Raum. Malphas didn't even cross my mind. I hope we get to see FurFur easy to tell as he takes the form of a stag/deer.
Because I’m a nerd for cat species I’d say that the cat ars goetia demon is definitely a mix of a few different cats. The primary inspiration is definitely a clouded leopard, as they have larger more triangular spots, typically have 2 stripes that run parallel down the chest w/ few spots in the center, and even has stripes along the face which is reflected in the design. However, the coloring greatly resembles a fennec fox/serval and the ears a definitely more like Caracal ears than anything 9:33 else (while pulling in the darker center color from leopards)
Idk if i like Vassago being a love intrested for Stolas they just look like siblings. Maybe they can have a close friendship because as far we know Stolas doesn't really have friends. The only close relationship he has was with his daughter. So it would be nice if he will have a friend he doesn't have a full moon with.
I noticed on the cover of the book Stolas was reading looked a lot like Andrealphus and Vassago. I would not be surprised if it’s revealed the peacock secretly has a thing for the parrot, and doesn’t want to admit it. It’s cool we get to see Goetia demons outside of the bird species.
To me it seems that Vasago is Stolas's brother or a close family seeing how similar they are in appearance but the others must be some distant family members or other demons from other demonic houses/bloodlines
Paimon dud say he had many kids so it's possible also it would be fun that all the kids of a King would take prince Status and Dukes would take 1 lower

The only requirements for being a Baphomet are caprine in design and having a candle on top of the head. Having said that, hybrids of Baphomets and fish-like demons from Greed and Envy could exist, known as Capricorns.
haha no this job allows me to get tons of sleep. We have an editor who does the editing part and I handle the writing part. Most of my energy goes to weird study of mythological stuff that doesn't even make it into videos most of the time. Don't get me wrong it can be stressful, but you guys make it so I have a very comfortable life to just study and enjoy things I love.
It sounds weird when people call these demons "the ars goetia" because that literally means "the art of demon(ology)" in Latin. It feels better to just call them "goetia" because that's just a fancy way of saying "demons"

What I'm wondering about is those shopkeepers in Lust. The candle seller had the horns and candle of a baphomet, but the rest of their features didn't match, and they had four arms. Then the BDSM shopkeeper was a giant spider with multiple pairs of horns similar to imp horns. Makes me think there might be several demon species we haven't seen at all yet.
@@JamesDavy2009 Yes, but hybrids with what other species? I don't think we've seen Hellborns with extra arms or spider or insect themes. Except for Beelzebud and Mammon, but they're Sins, so they feel like a special category. I guess the extra variety of Goetia we're seeing could include features like that, and those genes could have been added to the pools through affairs and illegitimate kids over the years.
Botis is both a president and an Earl actually, not just a president alone. I suspected the Crow Goetic demon may be Malphas, but it is also plausable he could be Vice Count Raum. Vice Count Raum is depicted as a crow which adopts a human form at the request of the conjurer. Raum steals treasures out of kings' houses, carrying them where he wishes, and destroys cities and dignities of men. Raum can also tell things past, present, and future, reconcile friends and foes and invoke love.
I remember seeing on a Tee shirt featuring Mammon that there was a location in the pride ring called the "Royal circle". Maybe that's where all the Goetia live?
I hope there are more awesome Helluva Boss shorts soon, possibly there could be one where Belle shows up and begins meeting Ozzy and Bee for the first time on screen or a short about Andre interacting with his only niece Octavia for the first time on screen. I'm still waiting for the new episode to air, but let's hope the shorts are better than the last one

So many Goetias, and yes, while some are birds in the actual lore, others are other species. It will be quite interesting to see what the others will look like and who they officially are. Part of me wants to see how Vivziepop would depict Andras, who is either an owl or raven, and responsible for sowing discord and rage into humanity. Ill-tempered, dangerous, causing wars, and nearly unstoppable. I can only wonder. He would make for one helluva villain, I'll say that much.
Never understood why people got so mad bout Beelzebub design, their never established that they were goin to follow the book design on script, she perfectly fits on her ring and her control on bloodhounds, it's nice when the design makes reference to the books but they can actually make whatever design they want
Honestly if Goetias are more like sinners where they can take on a variety of forms it does present them as being above sinners since they don’t have an exactly defined look either. Though a Goetia I think would be interesting to see would be the Duke Būne who’s said to be a dragon with 3 heads that change in species between text, and can “move the dead” whatever that means, make one rich, and answer questions

well he is the ruler of the lust ring and also sends his succubus and incubus to earth to spread sin and stds. I think that's enough involvement into human kind from a goetia perspective.

Two of my favorite Goetia demons that I hope that the show brings up are Marchosias and Andras. Marchosias is depicted as a she-wolf with angelic wings and a serpent tail. This demon is a protector type aka perhaos more "good" aligned. The other, Andras, is depicted as an angel with the head of an owl with a sword who rides a giant wolf. They are a war monger and dealer of vengeance aka an unapologetically evil aligned demon. Hopefully one day we will get to see how these two demons are depicted in the Vizipop's vision.
If you look closely at vassago he has a worried look on his face when looking for stolas they might be friends I highly doubt them as love interests but hey wdyk they might just can’t wait for the next ep though
Perhaps one trait of the Ars Goetia is the power/ability to take many forms, more then that of a Sinner. Kings like Paimon having the most alternate forms and the lowest class Presidents having the fewest, just above the average Sinner from the Pride Ring.
So you know how the lesser key of Solomon isn't only Ars Goetia? There are also 4 more books to get the entire lesser Key, which are: Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Almadel and Ars Notoria. Like who knows if the other species aren't from the other books? :3 Just a thought tho. Who knows what Viv will do. I like thinking about it.
I personally think Vassago won't be a love interest due to the fact Blitz and Stolas's relationship needs a lot more info on if it fully ended or not, it might return. Vassago looks a lot like Stolas more than for example Andrealphus and they might be brothers or relatives of some kind. He could also be a friend or guide for Stolas in hard times.
There was a theory I heard possibly on TikTok that Loona was part Ars Goetia, since her and Stolas’s human disguises very much look alike, and her knowledge to know magic and opening portals from the Grimmore to the right location. But again I do recall Vortex can change into a human, but so does other sucubi and incubi with the Asmodian Crystal.

So apparently in the original writings, Paimon is the goetia king most loyal to Lucifer, and since Paimon and stolas both seem to live in the Pride ring leads me to think that his “line” of goetia are associated primarily with Lucifer and pride. In Hazbin Hotel, we see that Lucifer (and other angels) does have bird-like wings, and a common theme with angelic forms is lots of eyes (Lucifer has eyes on the inside of his coat when he is angry). Stolas and Paimon also have additional eyes. Paimon is also a keeper of secrets in the original writing, having knowledge of the “earth, wind, water”, as well as art and science. Andrelphus is an ice bird, vizago is a fire bird, and stolas is all about astronomy, which seem to go along with Paimon and his bird Goetia having dominion over the elements and sciences. Asmodeus is also bird-ish, but looks very different than Paimon and his line. He doesn’t have feathers, and is made of a blue fiery energy. I don’t recall if we’ve seen any other demons with that kind of appearance. In the original text he is said to ride a dragon, and leads the most legions out of the other kings. He seems to be much more involved in the affairs of earth as well, which is reflected in the show as him having the most demons able to freely go to the mortal realm. The origins of the sins seems to vary between them which I find interesting. Lucifer is a fallen angel Asmodeus and beelzebub are both two different species of goetia. Leviathan was apparently around longer than any of the others, implying them to be an eldritch entity outside of the scope of the heaven and hell conflict. The others are unknown. Another thought I’ve had before is that pride is said to be greatest of the seven sins, because it is the “root”, or the cause, of all the other sins. The root of evil, as they say, which has been hinted at being the name of a future antagonist in Hazbin Hotel. Lucifer is the current sin of pride, but he seems so out of place when compared to the other six, but maybe there was another sin of pride before Lucifer? The root of evil would’ve been another eldritch, primordial entity like Leviathan. Anyway that’s a bunch of my late night thoughts kinda jumbled together, I’m going to sleep now. EDIT: Oh yeah one more thing I remembered, the Root of Evil is name dropped by the psycho woman in the first episode of Helluva Boss as she’s sacrificing Blitz and Millie, which has implications if intentional.
I'm going to throw stones at you soon for every time you call Beelzebub and Bael the same entity. If it comes to that, then why don't you call Belphegor Bael? Or Berit, which we have Baal-Berit. Everything is not clear about the sigil either. After all, there are differences and this is saying something. At least Vivzi said that she seemed to know demonology, which means she knows the fact that 2 spirits may have similar sigils, but not the same ones. Moreover, if Beelzebub really was the 1st demon of goetia, maybe during the episode's release the creators would have said about it or given a hint in the series itself?
Sorry but I wish more of the supporting characters have as unque designs as those other goetias. They're so full of character...meanwhile Stolas, Vassago and Andrealphus (even Stella) are all different birds yet look way too similar. I don't hate their designs but I admit they could've been a lot more distinctive.

Nope, both ravens and crows have black beaks. A rook, has white skin around the beak, but its still black/gray. Depending on where you live, blackbirds in Europe have a yellow beak, and the red winged blackbird in the US has a black beak.
I think Beelzebub and Bal will be different characters to me king Bal the head of the Goetia family will be the shadowed figure in the trailer that clenched his fist and had a redish thick arm.
The colour of the eyes on Ars Goetia could hint to what ring they're native to. This makes sense considering Botis has green eyes. I don't have an idea on how Sitri would fit into Sloth, though. There's also the fact Andrealphis has cyan eyes.
Beelzebub is definitely not Baal here. Their sigils, though similar, are still distinguishable. Moreover, it would be strange to make these two one character when Satan and Lucifer are two different characters here. Beelzebub is associated with gluttony and false gods, and Baal is associated with rain, thunder and fertility. It has not been confirmed that Stolas was the original ruler in Vaggie's story. These are two different characters, don't make things up! Regarding the demons in the trailer: Leopard with wings - Prince Sitri Snake - Count and President Botis Heron/stork - Marquis Naberius, Count Halfas or Marquis Chax Vulture - Prince and Count Ipos or Count and Duke of Murmur (he is sometimes represented as a vulture) Raven - Count Raum (because he is the one who steals jewelry, and in the trailer this raven is wearing jewelry) Goat - it is not clear, because in the Lesser Spring of Solomon there was no demon in the form of a goat. You shouldn’t take Balam as an example, who has three heads. Apparently, Stolas and Blitz will make peace in episode 9. Most likely, Vassago will be a friend and ally of Stolas, who will help Octavia (who, judging by the leaks, will receive the title and responsibilities of her father). Maybe Vassago and Stolas are brothers, considering Paimon has many children.

The fact that all members of the Goetia have different animal forms does open up the door for more variety like Ose becoming a leopard for example.

When I saw the crow in that pic I instantly thought it was Earl Raum. Malphas didn't even cross my mind. I hope we get to see FurFur easy to tell as he takes the form of a stag/deer.
Because I’m a nerd for cat species I’d say that the cat ars goetia demon is definitely a mix of a few different cats. The primary inspiration is definitely a clouded leopard, as they have larger more triangular spots, typically have 2 stripes that run parallel down the chest w/ few spots in the center, and even has stripes along the face which is reflected in the design. However, the coloring greatly resembles a fennec fox/serval and the ears a definitely more like Caracal ears than anything 9:33 else (while pulling in the darker center color from leopards)
Idk if i like Vassago being a love intrested for Stolas they just look like siblings. Maybe they can have a close friendship because as far we know Stolas doesn't really have friends. The only close relationship he has was with his daughter. So it would be nice if he will have a friend he doesn't have a full moon with.
I noticed on the cover of the book Stolas was reading looked a lot like Andrealphus and Vassago. I would not be surprised if it’s revealed the peacock secretly has a thing for the parrot, and doesn’t want to admit it. It’s cool we get to see Goetia demons outside of the bird species.
To me it seems that Vasago is Stolas's brother or a close family seeing how similar they are in appearance but the others must be some distant family members or other demons from other demonic houses/bloodlines

haha no this job allows me to get tons of sleep. We have an editor who does the editing part and I handle the writing part. Most of my energy goes to weird study of mythological stuff that doesn't even make it into videos most of the time. Don't get me wrong it can be stressful, but you guys make it so I have a very comfortable life to just study and enjoy things I love.
It sounds weird when people call these demons "the ars goetia" because that literally means "the art of demon(ology)" in Latin.
It feels better to just call them "goetia" because that's just a fancy way of saying "demons"

What I'm wondering about is those shopkeepers in Lust. The candle seller had the horns and candle of a baphomet, but the rest of their features didn't match, and they had four arms. Then the BDSM shopkeeper was a giant spider with multiple pairs of horns similar to imp horns. Makes me think there might be several demon species we haven't seen at all yet.
Or they're hybrid forms. Some Baphomets have wings, leading me to believe they hybridise with the succubi from Lust.
@@JamesDavy2009 Yes, but hybrids with what other species? I don't think we've seen Hellborns with extra arms or spider or insect themes. Except for Beelzebud and Mammon, but they're Sins, so they feel like a special category. I guess the extra variety of Goetia we're seeing could include features like that, and those genes could have been added to the pools through affairs and illegitimate kids over the years.
Botis is both a president and an Earl actually, not just a president alone. I suspected the Crow Goetic demon may be Malphas, but it is also plausable he could be Vice Count Raum.
Vice Count Raum is depicted as a crow which adopts a human form at the request of the conjurer. Raum steals treasures out of kings' houses, carrying them where he wishes, and destroys cities and dignities of men. Raum can also tell things past, present, and future, reconcile friends and foes and invoke love.

Part of me wants to see how Vivziepop would depict Andras, who is either an owl or raven, and responsible for sowing discord and rage into humanity. Ill-tempered, dangerous, causing wars, and nearly unstoppable. I can only wonder. He would make for one helluva villain, I'll say that much.

Honestly if Goetias are more like sinners where they can take on a variety of forms it does present them as being above sinners since they don’t have an exactly defined look either. Though a Goetia I think would be interesting to see would be the Duke Būne who’s said to be a dragon with 3 heads that change in species between text, and can “move the dead” whatever that means, make one rich, and answer questions

Two of my favorite Goetia demons that I hope that the show brings up are Marchosias and Andras. Marchosias is depicted as a she-wolf with angelic wings and a serpent tail. This demon is a protector type aka perhaos more "good" aligned. The other, Andras, is depicted as an angel with the head of an owl with a sword who rides a giant wolf. They are a war monger and dealer of vengeance aka an unapologetically evil aligned demon. Hopefully one day we will get to see how these two demons are depicted in the Vizipop's vision.
If you look closely at vassago he has a worried look on his face when looking for stolas they might be friends I highly doubt them as love interests but hey wdyk they might just can’t wait for the next ep though

Perhaps one trait of the Ars Goetia is the power/ability to take many forms, more then that of a Sinner. Kings like Paimon having the most alternate forms and the lowest class Presidents having the fewest, just above the average Sinner from the Pride Ring.
I wonder if the Ars Goetia are "Winged Beasts" in a general sense; that would allow for all the non-bird-avian types.
So you know how the lesser key of Solomon isn't only Ars Goetia? There are also 4 more books to get the entire lesser Key, which are: Ars Theurgia-Goetia, Ars Paulina, Ars Almadel and Ars Notoria.

I personally think Vassago won't be a love interest due to the fact Blitz and Stolas's relationship needs a lot more info on if it fully ended or not, it might return. Vassago looks a lot like Stolas more than for example Andrealphus and they might be brothers or relatives of some kind. He could also be a friend or guide for Stolas in hard times.
It will make sense for Beelzebub to be a member of the Ars Goetia because Baal is sometimes considered the same entity as Beelzebub

There was a theory I heard possibly on TikTok that Loona was part Ars Goetia, since her and Stolas’s human disguises very much look alike, and her knowledge to know magic and opening portals from the Grimmore to the right location. But again I do recall Vortex can change into a human, but so does other sucubi and incubi with the Asmodian Crystal.

What if Lucifer appears in episode 9 season 2 of helluva boss?
So apparently in the original writings, Paimon is the goetia king most loyal to Lucifer, and since Paimon and stolas both seem to live in the Pride ring leads me to think that his “line” of goetia are associated primarily with Lucifer and pride. In Hazbin Hotel, we see that Lucifer (and other angels) does have bird-like wings, and a common theme with angelic forms is lots of eyes (Lucifer has eyes on the inside of his coat when he is angry). Stolas and Paimon also have additional eyes.
Paimon is also a keeper of secrets in the original writing, having knowledge of the “earth, wind, water”, as well as art and science. Andrelphus is an ice bird, vizago is a fire bird, and stolas is all about astronomy, which seem to go along with Paimon and his bird Goetia having dominion over the elements and sciences.
Asmodeus is also bird-ish, but looks very different than Paimon and his line. He doesn’t have feathers, and is made of a blue fiery energy. I don’t recall if we’ve seen any other demons with that kind of appearance. In the original text he is said to ride a dragon, and leads the most legions out of the other kings. He seems to be much more involved in the affairs of earth as well, which is reflected in the show as him having the most demons able to freely go to the mortal realm.
The origins of the sins seems to vary between them which I find interesting.
Lucifer is a fallen angel
Asmodeus and beelzebub are both two different species of goetia.
Leviathan was apparently around longer than any of the others, implying them to be an eldritch entity outside of the scope of the heaven and hell conflict.
The others are unknown.
Another thought I’ve had before is that pride is said to be greatest of the seven sins, because it is the “root”, or the cause, of all the other sins. The root of evil, as they say, which has been hinted at being the name of a future antagonist in Hazbin Hotel. Lucifer is the current sin of pride, but he seems so out of place when compared to the other six, but maybe there was another sin of pride before Lucifer? The root of evil would’ve been another eldritch, primordial entity like Leviathan.
Anyway that’s a bunch of my late night thoughts kinda jumbled together, I’m going to sleep now.
EDIT: Oh yeah one more thing I remembered, the Root of Evil is name dropped by the psycho woman in the first episode of Helluva Boss as she’s sacrificing Blitz and Millie, which has implications if intentional.

Everything is not clear about the sigil either. After all, there are differences and this is saying something. At least Vivzi said that she seemed to know demonology, which means she knows the fact that 2 spirits may have similar sigils, but not the same ones. Moreover, if Beelzebub really was the 1st demon of goetia, maybe during the episode's release the creators would have said about it or given a hint in the series itself?

They're so full of character...meanwhile Stolas, Vassago and Andrealphus (even Stella) are all different birds yet look way too similar. Nope, both ravens and crows have black beaks. A rook, has white skin around the beak, but its still black/gray. Depending on where you live, blackbirds in Europe have a yellow beak, and the red winged blackbird in the US has a black beak.
I think Beelzebub and Bal will be different characters to me king Bal the head of the Goetia family will be the shadowed figure in the trailer that clenched his fist and had a redish thick arm.

The colour of the eyes on Ars Goetia could hint to what ring they're native to. This makes sense considering Botis has green eyes. I don't have an idea on how Sitri would fit into Sloth, though. There's also the fact Andrealphis has cyan eyes.
I have my doubts.

Beelzebub is definitely not Baal here. Their sigils, though similar, are still distinguishable. Moreover, it would be strange to make these two one character when Satan and Lucifer are two different characters here. Beelzebub is associated with gluttony and false gods, and Baal is associated with rain, thunder and fertility.
It has not been confirmed that Stolas was the original ruler in Vaggie's story. These are two different characters, don't make things up!
Regarding the demons in the trailer:
Leopard with wings - Prince Sitri
Snake - Count and President Botis
Heron/stork - Marquis Naberius, Count Halfas or Marquis Chax
Vulture - Prince and Count Ipos or Count and Duke of Murmur (he is sometimes represented as a vulture)
Raven - Count Raum (because he is the one who steals jewelry, and in the trailer this raven is wearing jewelry)
Goat - it is not clear, because in the Lesser Spring of Solomon there was no demon in the form of a goat. You shouldn’t take Balam as an example, who has three heads.
Apparently, Stolas and Blitz will make peace in episode 9. Most likely, Vassago will be a friend and ally of Stolas, who will help Octavia (who, judging by the leaks, will receive the title and responsibilities of her father). Maybe Vassago and Stolas are brothers, considering Paimon has many children.
