All that you can’t leave behind certainly gained a new meaning after 9/11. Not to mention U2 continued touring the elevation tour just weeks after 9/11 . Then the superbowl , the greatest half time show ever
This is one of their best songs off one of their best albums. The vocal harmonies are top shelf. Also some Bono's best lyrics. Wonderful reaction Harri!
Thank you for playing this (and thanks to the requester). I’ve been wanting someone to react to this (I think you’re only the 2nd person on all of TH-cam to react to this song). I’ll bet more reactors will follow your lead. I think this was a minor hit for U2, but it seems to be a little overlooked or forgotten. I’m surprised it hasn’t had a long and glorious second life on the Interwebs. I’m glad to see your reaction is the same as mine. The song isn’t saying that everything is fine, or that everything will be fantastic. It’s just saying that the bad stuff is temporary. But it’s a beautiful song/recording/track/performance.
This song is one of my favorites from U2. I love the way Bono sings it. It’s a very beautiful well written song. Thanks to Darren (?) for the submission, and to Harri for your reaction.
If I'm not mistaken, you can hear mick jagger filling in at the end of the song. Always forget about this song, but once I hear that vhs couplevofblines, I'm hooked.
Lovely. Imma big early days U2 fan. For a great song to start the New Year out with, try their “New Years Day.” I love the original video of them on horses in the woods w snow. Beautiful.
Great U2 song , it was written about Michael Hutchence’s deep depression and unfortunately his suicide. Bono was very close to him, live this song goes up another level. Bono puts a lot into it , it’s also a good tune acoustically Such a powerful song such a shame Michael Hutchence didn’t get through that moment 😢 U2 have a big back catalogue of deep songs Kite - about losing a loved one Running to stand still - about drug addiction Stay - a violent relationship One - a break up song Bad - addiction
Forgot how much this song CUTS!!! Thanks for bringing it back:))
This was the song which healed millions of Americans after 9-11.

More U2 please sir, lots of fans out there ,
Love everything about this song. Thanks, Harri and Brandon.

As the requester I thank you. This song grabbed ahold of me when I had to leave the mother of my first two children due to her habitual cheating.
Love the reaction Harri. I think this is a good song to start a new year.
According to Bono it was about Michael Hutchense from INXS who killed himself😢
Wow!
Yes.I believe they were friends- 😪😪

U2 is too good and have such a vast catalog that they deserve more reactions Try Where the streets have no name or One you won't regret it

Hey Harri you may like the song. But your views say differently
I'm lost 😀.Could you explain what you mean please?
Bono should relocate to Israel
You should restrict your comments to the music.
