PLEASE HELP!!! I have an iPhone 11, latest Oculus app, and firmware 38 on the Quest 2. When I start casting from the phone, I don't see the MRC icon. Also in Beat Saber the MRC toggle disappeared (is it because now it's ON by default?)... What am I missing here? 🤔

Oculus support spent 3 days bumbling the answer that your button hasn’t showed up because we announced it too early. I have everything on the newest versions and an iphone 13 max pro. Support says : this is a chromecast?
Not looking to capture or stream footage but is there a way to see the real world as u play beat saber i know it would be a sad grey scale but was wondering if it could be done
Quest 1 and Quest 2 passthrough recording will result in just a plain black video, you need to use SCRCPY or Sidequest stream feature to record the passthrough
Basically Step 1: Get an I-Phone Step 2: Discover that the mixed reality mode is terrible Step 2: Get a green screen instead Seriously though I've seen EyeToy games on the PS2 that have better person detection. The Xbox Kinnect 2 had pretty good mixed reality and to my knowledge that was using the same tech as is built into the high end Iphone's
I’ve tried using Mixed Reality Capture with mine and, once or twice, got it to work while in TiltBrush, but half or more of the time, all you can see on the ipad screen is static. No me, no app, no background, just neon zigzag squiggles. Obnoxious.

Yea seems a bit complicated and half baked, but hey plenty of time to get it right. I think with a few updates it will be good, and then hopefully Android phones will be added as well....If their not already that is.

It is on by default but the mrc isn’t showing to me eather

I don't see that button on the Quest app (have the latest version of the app, running on an iPhone XS) 😕

Can you make a tutorial for native quest streaming for the PC?
I only got it to work once on beat saber and it sucks

Delete and reinstall the app aswell oculus app is buggy like that

Neither way works. Headset to phone doesn't work. Phone to headset doesn't work. No controller tracking.

its not complicated and iphones have some features in the camerathat android phones dont have and its not even hard really but its crappy and buggy

The video capture is absolutely not up to snuff, one notable issue is the horrendous frame rate, and the very blurry outline of yourself.
