I first watched this 4 months ago and that scene at 2:18 where he goes to shoot the ball anyways while it's just deflated on the ground and it cuts to the hoop where absolutely nothing happens for like 2 seconds is still one of the funniest things I've ever seen
The implication that he was trying to throw the basketball with one foot twisted completely sideways🤣. The second guy catching the basketball coming down from straight above, despite other shots of him watching the ball going in implies he’s not directly below the hoop. The deflated basketball just plopping on the ground with the camera cutting to the basketball hoop. So many minuscule, but ingenious comedic bits in this sketch. It’s amazing🏆🤣
Don't forget the janitor repeatedly picking up the basketball when they asked what he played for. That always killed me.
I think this channel is living proof that comedy is more than just acting and writing. Directing, editing, staging: all these aspects of film contribute and that's what many Hollywood comedies forget.
This channel really puts effort and consideration into their art.
