I never ever skip this opening. I cried when they explained the story behind the picture then the OP credits showed up. As a Word Trigger fan since episode 1, this OP sequence is the crystallization of what World Trigger is. One of the best OP sequences in all of anime.
One of the best Anime. Every single character is worth and well develeped and everyone is useful, it's not the usual shonen when you have to wait for the main hero
Outside poor osamu who doesn't get to do much for whatever reason. I wish they'd give him a overwhelming win just once because of strategic thinking over pure power. Though the recent layout option of him going double shield could be useful if he just serves as a tank.
This opening got a really strong "the last opening" vibe. As if someone is gonna leave Tamakoma or the squad will be disbanded after the season is over.
Always makes me ponder life in the beginning when it shows the original members of Tamakoma and the sadness after some disappear then more sadness when they grow up.
Same its heartbreaking but realistic, i really want a flashback arc it will add to the angst but will probably make us connect more than we already do. Not to mention we barely know anything about the old members except the faces yet I am thoroughly invested in them.
The ones behind this opening visually, the lyrics, the syncing, the band and even the idea did an amazing job This opening is just a wonderful way to embody the spirit of world trigger. Amazing characters each carrying diffrent morals some even carrying their own different message and voice yet they all interact so well with each and all get a chance to shine. And the fact this op captilizes on that is just beautiful not to mention it's a banger
Fun thing about this opening is that it shows references to the first few openings of Season 1 as well flickering through in the first couple seconds before hitting that Border Founders Photograph.

I’m looking forward to the series continuing, the author does what he wants and creates a vast world with more characters than you can keep track of, yet still manages to keep the writing good.
The whole training for expedition thing in the manga right now is full of walls of text for a couple of chapters now but I'm still ok with it and also because of the shuffle of teams that results in awesome interactions
Out of all the Op that World Trigger has this one takes the victory. Not only it shows the progression that Tamokoma-2 having to from rookie to facing the top contenders from the Rank Wars. The connections they have made with the other teams showing that in the end they are still willing to protect each other. Mid way of the opening the lyrics fit well with Tamakoma-2. My top 3 anime of all time.
I hope after they managed to get be in away team, we finally got an answer for Yuma short life solution. Even if they managed to get Replica, and all the prisoner(I'm talking about citizen that got kidnap), Yuma still need to worry about his time which almost run out.... Whenever the new chapter got released, I always think about this especially after Viza got to know Yuma now body is a trion body. What happen if Yuma now body got sliced into half? Will his ori(has blood and meat if you confused) body appear forcefully into public? Will he died on the spot????? Ahhh, my negative thought eating me out.
You know every time I am watching this opening, I wonder what will happen to hyuse after they reach aftokrator. Will hyuse join tamakoma after he save his family or he will stay at aftokrator and working together with earth to protect each other.
I think he will join Afto for a short while and confront Viza about why they leave him on Earth. Depending on Viza answer, Hyuse might be rejoining Afto cause you know, Hyuse has strong sense of loyalty.

Finished WT last week. When I watched this op I was feeling so emotional. Showing what they've been through during the B rank wars was truly moving and music was amazing. The battles were probably one of the most creative ones I've ever seen. This op really is the crystallization of what WT is

This show is seriously underrated! Its so GOOD! The battles so strategic and fun! The characters with just the right amount of emotion! And the world and lore ENORMOUS!
I love this anime, and all my friends that have give it a change have fall in love with it, I just wish a remake would be make of the season 1..... Cuz let's be honest the animation back there wasn't the best and I feel it will connect people back again until the Manga go far beyond where it is, for a season 4

Obviously it's personal preference, but I personally believe that the first 40 seconds absolutely carry this opening. It shows all the struggles each of the main characters are going through and the animation/song works so cleanly.

Others anime are either high school life or isekan, storyline are almost identical.. after see for long time. Hopefully there is alternative of world trigger. Really like the way they setup the strategy and enemies are not weak either. Very intense. Maybe main characters is super weak is a good point of view too.

@@AstralNRGear If I could edit your load out to balance the triggers on your left and right hand I would order them this way. Main: Scorpion, Viper, Escudo, Chameleon Sub: Asteroid, Hound, Shield, Grasshopper It honestly depends on you but I opted to out Asteroid as your sub while scorpion is your main so that you can fire simple bullets for long range and use scorpion for close range for a balanced attack. I then put viper and hound side by side so that similar to Ninomiya you can use both hands to launch attacks together. Using a Viper attack that can be redirected and a hound that homes in on specific locations it makes opponenets have a tricky time to set up their shields when you fire simultaneously. I placed shield on your sub trigger side so that whislt attacking with scorpion (using your right hand if ever) you may deploy a shield (with your left) and escudo on the other side to balance defenses and so it wont be confusing to use. Lastly you should put grasshopper on your sub side so that whilst attacking using scorpion similar to Yuma or with viper you dont lose mobility you may use both simulatneously using each hand. What a unique loadout though 😁👍
Literally so underrated shounen anime.. having the one of the best big cast of characters who feel grounded and real including the main characters and also have a good storyline, including epic moments, great world building, better animation at 2nd and 3rd season and tactical fights with ranking systems and aliens.. it's just wow.. a big WOW and perfection for me.. and obviously the opening and ending songs are gooooood. I loved watching through this all without regrets .. B rank wars arc was so underrated arc❤
People need to talk how could are the first few frames being the final image of every other opening of the series scaled so the characthers doesnt move

You should check out Precure (an original series from Toei) The animation is consistently amazing outside of one season It's a show for little girls but it has unironically good action scenes, so I recommend it to you if you like World Trigger

to be fair, it starts off pretty poorly. It gets better and better as it continues though, as you found out.
It's why people should always give low budget animes a fair chance to show that the story's worth it.
