The album version is so much better imo. Howard is an incredible singer and screamer, but this music video version of the song loses a lot of his passion by eliminating some of the screams.

Love how this randomly got recommended to me. Great reaction, you should definitely check lesser known songs like ‘This is absolution’ or ‘Fixation on the darkness (with Howard)’
Only problem I have with kill switch is that they made these alternate versions of songs (radio edit) and replaced 90% of the screaming with clean vocals. They’re are already enough clean vocals. Original songs are way better.

The 2 albums Howard did with KSE The End Of Heartache , As Daylight Dies I can't explain it but there is something magical about thoses albums that stand the test of time you should react too Rose's Of Sharon by KSE next that was my first introduction to Howard and it was his first album with KSE..

I can't stand these Radio edit versions, you need to listen to the Album version of the song, TRUST
The "Movie/Radio" Edit always makes me feel like it was an afterthought or forced and not Howard's best lines. The Original album version conveys the emotion better.

Howard Jones (lead vocals) joined Killswitch Engage in 2003 when he replaced original vocalist Jesse Leach as they were touring for the album 'Alive or just breathing' (2002)... Howard recorded their 2 biggest albums (3 overall) - 'The end of heartache' (2004) and 'As daylight dies' (2006)... and they had their biggest songs:
'Rose of Sharyn' ... 'Daylight dies' ... 'The end of heartache''... 'Starting over'... 'Holy Diver' (Dio cover) 🤘🤘🔥🔥
"My Curse" was from their 2006 album 'As daylight dies'... which was another gold-selling success... But after KSE's 2009 self-titled album, Howard Jones declined to tour for the album citing 'health issues'... he parted ways w/ KSE in 2011... They reunited w/ original vocalist Jesse Leach for the next album 'Disarm the descent'... Jesse and Howard both sang lead on a KSE song - "The signal fire" in 2019.
Howard Jones was not inactive for long... he formed a new band Devil You Know... and released the album 'The Beauty of Destruction' (2014)... and 'They bleed red' (2015)
In 2017, they were forced to change the band name to Light the Torch (for legal reasons) and have released 2 albums w/ Howard Jones on vocals - 'Revival' (2018) and 'You will be the death of me' (2021)
Recently, KSE guitarist/ producer Adam Dutkiewicz announced that he was recording a project w/ Howard Jones on vocals which will be out in 2024.
