thank you very much .I used to eyeball the deltoid ligt en frotal PD fat sat just to be sure that there is in a fan shap and without hypersignal .... Now , I will look to the 5 components thanks to your lecture .
This has helped me. I grade 3 tore my anterior tibiotalar ligament and it seems like a rare injury as i havnt been able to find much about that particular ligament. This has put it in to more perspective!
I am doing a complete ankle ligament series, just like this, covering spring ligament, and lateral ligaments, please make sure to subscribe and click the notification button, then you will get an email every time I upload a new video. I do 1 video per week. next week maybe with a short delay, due to a private event :)
You are wonderful Sir,do you make these animation videos your self or someone helps you with the technical aspects. You are a blessing for people like us in India where medical teaching is in shambles
High Ankle Sprain - 6 weeks from injury: - pain on outside and inside - some stiffness on outside - greater stiffness on inside - sharper pain on inside with movement - difficulty walking on flat surfaces - difficulty with stairs, greater going down - bruising discoloration faded - pain and stiffness in toes Not sure my doctors and therapists actually know what's wrong. Last x-ray was day of injury. They just said there's no breaks or fractures. Hopefully insurance approves am MRI for me.
thanks steve. Appreciate your feedback. basically what I do is to simplify stuff in a way so I can understand it too :D - sometimes original research papers are way too detailed and complicated with no real clinical day-to-day value and powerpoint presentations at even big meetings are often just static with the easy cases, obvious so that noone can argue with the presenter. but in daily routine, we as radiologists do not struggle with the easy cases (normal and complete ligament tears after luxation etc), we struggle with the unclear cases. The goal of my channel is to highlight the grey area abit :) thx for commenting!
Unique way of teaching
Thanks!
Thanks a lot
How to get ankle scan with thin slice thickness and reconstruction like this?
Fantastic. Excellent job explaining it, sir. Now I am going to report each individual ligament in an ankle MRI.
Great job covering these challenging structures
Thanks for spreading the knowledge with this much simplicity..... need more 😍
So nice of you
How impressive was it though?? Very impressive
Thanks for your detailed explanation,
Now I will need more time for reporting ankle MRI 😉
After some time, your speed will increase, don't worry,,,😁
Fantastic content...never really understood the deltoid complex this well

Someone finally debunked the deltoid ligament complex in a short, intelligible manner. Clear as CSF now!
