As a woman who doesn’t see a lot of male victims a lot, I’m glad to see one here. People always think that woman are so weak and think that they need to be protected, but what about males? Any person no matter what gender can be groomed or sexually abused. I met a nice male who has been sexually abused by another male, even though he isn’t gay. I used to be groomed and sexually abused when I was 10, but now that I am 14, I have learned to detect a parent, or defend myself. Woman can be creeps too, and males can be sexually abused as well. To those who think that you don’t belong, you do. You are valid and heard. You all have my heart.
If a woman is a victim it’s “she was asking for it” but if a man is the victim it’s “he should like it”, why do people try so hard to invalidate victims. It’s assault no matter what
As a gay man this is extremely important, it's pretty common for homophobic people to think we are predators though. Both of those problems need tackling

Exactly! It boils my blood when people say its a woman's problem or say "what if it was your sister or mom?". It completely shuts out the enormous number of male victims. No wonder theres so little reports of it happening, society teaches them to be ashamed because "it cant happen to them". ugh!
You mean it’s shut down by other men ,,,,, like if a guy is being sexually harassed by a attractive women . Some men be like “wished that were me 😍😍😍” it’s disgusting
Very Odd yeah but it’s usually by men and when it’s happen by a woman ( which is pretty rare) the victim get called a pussy by other MEN, for not enjoying it.

@@N0rth_Star Absolutely. There are sick fucks among children too. I'm not including the ages between 0-10, by the way. But there are so many 15-years-old rapists. Trust noone.
My whole life my mom told me that when I was a small child, she just assumed everyone was a pedophile by default. That always seemed so extreme to me until I realized what she meant as I got older: these things happen because people say "Oh he would never do that! Oh she's not that kind of person!" And at that point it's too late. Not everyone is a pedophile, and most people would never harm a child. But don't ever convince yourself that someone is incapable of doing so, because that's what allows abuse to happen right in front of you, in school, in public, or in your very home.
Absolute facts. I’m surprised I could find you here, perhaps after your Paul brother series you can make a video revolving around sexual assault awareness and how to protect yourself? You’re very smart and I think you could handle a conversation covering that topic very well.
I told my brothers and my dad about a story I heard where a young boy, 10-12 years old, was raped by his 20-something year old babysitter and she got pregnant. Their reaction? "Go, little man!" It disgusted me. It STILL disgusts me. This mindset of "oh men can’t be sexually assaulted, by women especially" or "dang, how lucky" is freaking hideous. I hate it. What is wrong with our society?

Right? Because much like irl grooming, online grooming can be disguised as friendship for a long time and can creep up on you from there. I was groom online from 14-18 by a group of older guys. I was vulnerable, since I'd been picked on severely at school and didn't realise how much I needed some reassurance/praise/affection. I did block them shortly after my 18th birthday, when I realised enough was enough and plucked up the courage to run, but once a groomer is in your head they have many ways of dissuading you from blocking them, by getting you to depend on them or feel like you owe them a favour or such.
I was groomed once and now is when I start to realize that happened. 10 years ago, i was doing an internship at a recreation center when one of the older male employees was being extra "nice" to me. He bought me food, asked me if I liked going to the movies or if I was seeing anyone, hugged me really tightly once. Dude was a weirdo for sure. Luckily, some of my other co-workers warned me about him and told me to say I was in a relationship. I remember feeling very uncomfortable 🤦♂️
This is animated very well. This is the sort of things schools should show. They always show only women in these situations and the videos are always such a poor quality.
Sometimes you can have no idea what’s happening for a long time. Sometimes you can realise what’s happening right from the get-go, but even then you still don’t know how to escape. There are so many different kinds of situations where sexual abuse can happen, and it can happen to anyone. Males, females, children, adults. It can happen in a workplace, in a school, in your own home. I can’t believe this still happens. It’s really not okay. I’m glad we have people like you raising awareness about these kinds of things.
I hate when people say that boys can’t be sexually assaulted/abused, no matter who you are it’s not your fault and you have the right to get support and help from others. Stay safe and don’t be afraid to speak up, it’s never your fault❤️❤️❤️
I agree sadly a lot of people think that oh because This person is doctors police religion leaders That rules don’t matter as much as everyone but it’s does wrong and abuse is never ok doesn’t matter who it is
Finally, a well animated story time channel that doesn’t make fake stories about 6 year old kids getting impregnated by their dog. But in all seriousness, this really shows that men can get groomed and abused by woman. Abuse is never ok and I’m glad to see that this video shows that even men can get assaulted and not just woman. Abuse is never ok, and if you are a victim of it, please tell someone you trust. Even if it seems like no one will believe you, there’s always someone holding you back. Edit: how and why did this get attention?
As a person who was groomed and sexually assaulted in boyscouts by an older troop member. Im glad I got out of it and pushed away before anything worse happened
I’m really appreciative that this video is focusing more on grooming more rather than indirectly implying other untrue things like “gay people are predators” or “men are less likely to be abused”, unlike some other videos.
this. but it’s also important not to paint everyone of these groups as abusers. there are members of every group who are abusers, and members of every group who aren’t
I had an abusive stepmom last year who would sexually harass me whenever she drank. My father didn’t do anything about it so I eventually I stood up to her on my own and now she’s out of my life. It doesn’t matter if you’re a man or a woman, abuse is abuse and it shouldn’t be accepted no matter who commits it. Thanks for showing that men can be victims as well as women can.
I hate how male victims of female abusers are ignored or called lucky it’s disgusting and cruel to treat abuse victims that way, I’m so sorry for those who went through that only to be invalidated after the abuse
You know what happens a lot? When a man gets touched in a way that makes them uncomfortable, people call it seduction. When it happens to a woman, its sexual harassment. Double standards are the worst, it’s sexual harassment no matter who you are and who its from.
For real. I hate when i go to hang out with my friends in a bar, and some woman starts to touch my upperbody, just cause "i'm a guy and i don't have anything to touch there". Or when they are open to sex but kind of 'forcing it' on me. Like what the actual fuck. Then when i'm uncomfortable and tell them to stop or i don't want it, they call me gay(as if it would be a bad thing anyways lmao🤷🏻♂️). They would say i'm not a real man too. Fucked up as hell.
Yeah it sucks how easily a woman can get away with it. The media would just say "oh he liked it" or "oh he didn't care until he was found out". That shit grinds my gears.
Yep my step dad who was catholic & then changed to Baptist and attends the church wanted to have sex with me. Me, my mom & brother are Evangelicals. I asked to borrow money to finish my pays for school & he said he would let me if I have sex with him. I always knew I never felt right around him & I’m 22. When I told my mom she was surprised. When my family heard either half believed me or half thought I was making it up. Idk why they are attached to him like why just because he’s baptist like y’all & my family like a different part of Christianity?

Grooming can happen to adults. It happened to me at my last job(I was 31/32 at the time). This 55 year old man who worked in the deli told me that he saw me as more than a friend, after having friendly conversations and giving me little gifts or money. I told my bosses who told him to stay away from me, but he didn't listen. I told my dad, who's a 6' 4" grizzly bear of a trucker, and he came to my work one day(I was on my lunch break when he came). When the guy came in for his shift, he immediately came to me and tried to give me money, but I insisted that he keep it. When he got to the backroom, my boss took him back where my dad was waiting, and he told my dad that he was a "Christian man who believed in marriage before sex", which made my dad furious and he tried to play dumb and said he was "a little slow" when my dad told him I had said I didn't see him the way he saw me and that the gifts and money giving made me uncomfortable. He warned him that if he didn't stay away from me, period, that the law would get involved. He pretty much quit his job in the deli after that. But about a month later, he showed up at church one Sunday, and my mom and I sat as far away from him as we could get. He testified in church saying that he wanted to thank his "Good friend Lauren" for encouraging him to go to church again and said that he'd been sick for a while and asked the church to pray for him to get better. After the service, my mom and I were going to a baptism later that afternoon and we were waiting on our friends to finish up so we could all hang out until it was time to go to the baptism. Well, old Herbert the pervert came up behind me while I was talking to my friends and placed a hand on my shoulder, asking how I was and acting like he never confessed his feelings to me a month ago. I tensed up, but I never said a word and kept my back to him. He said he was ready to talk whenever I was and walked off. My friends noticed how tense I was and my face was almost paper white and I was shaking(he came to church the Sunday before he told me that he loved me and when we were getting ready to leave, he told my mom and I that he didn't want any of the kids near his van because he had "weapons of self defense" in there). My mama told my friend's dad what was going on and asked if he could distract him while we made our way to the car. He tried to follow us, but my friend's dad insisted that they go out the other door. Thankfully my mama and I were in her car, doors locked, etc., when he stepped outside and looked around like he was looking for us. After that we filed for an order of protection and we came to the agreement that he he would not be allowed at our church, the grocery store where I was working, or anywhere near me. I've changed jobs since then, but the whole thing scared me so bad, that I never leave my house without my pepper spray or pocket knife. Thankfully I haven't seen hide or tail or him, and I hope it stays that way
My school has to show videos about stuff like this every year. But, it had a VERY negative effect on the actual point. Everyone was making jokes like “your gonna be my next victim” “COACH IS THAT YOU?” and I just wish they showed these videos instead. As the characters don’t look funny nor the voices. I just really needed to get this out. Great work with these videos.
I hate that straight men are supposed to “be happy” about getting touched. Or supposed to “enjoy it”. I’m not straight, but that sounds really uncomfortable.
I really though men like being touched like that because of all those meme but I started to interact with many male friends of mine, and I came to understand they are also very uncomfortable and don't like it. Those meme make me very uncomfortable now.
Exactlyyy, it’s like straight people have self control and the capacity to feel uncomfortable is certain sexual situation, they shouldn’t feel forced to enjoy something they don’t.
>supposed to “be happy” wrong. you can choose to be happy that you're getting laid and you can choose to say no and smack the person who is trying to *ehssooolt* you
i remember the days of '19 when i was last a straight male... but in all seriousness, since im not out to much people i will very likely get this and i hope noone else does
The abusers looked hurt about why the person they were coaxing would suddenly turn on them when they were going so long without saying anything. It's a minor detail, but one I greatly appreciated that was included. Sometimes that final breaking point can make you seem like you were over reacting and being rude or it may even seem like it's your fault for leading them on in the first place. It's a guilt wrenching and confusing experience for victims, but the thing is no one should ever go along with something they're not comfortable with.
Because of it before seeing this I am happy that I have perminantly left those kind of groups who were literally on purpose sending porn stickers and gifs to the group chats and I have never ever ever ever ever watched it and will never watch it it is disgusting I think that they were trying to make me and other people who never watched these kind of stuff try to make us be like them like a bunch of wild animals who have never seen women's and men's before and I am never going back there cause those people literally crossed my boundaries multiple times and tried to groom me into them. 😒🤢
@@Brunette_2005 I get your argument about some men saying that stuff and its absolutely wrong, especially since most of them probably haven't veen through it. But these experiences deserve to be talked about for both genders. It doesn't do anyone justice to put victims down or try to argue who has it worse. So its a good thing both are being talked about here.
They are especially not as much to talked about like women are because people think that men can't be assaulted or get raped or attacked by a woman but I think it's possible whatever the gender of the person is anyone is capable of harming someone else
Yeah because even though more often than not it's a woman experiencing abuse or being assaulted men get abused and manipulated and assaulted as well And it's really sad when people say that you're either supposed to man up or if a woman is doing it that's just her flirting with you and you're just "supposed to like it" It's the double standard for me
I’m glad the female abuser just looks like an average woman and not a gross monster. Never understood why in these situations in fiction women had to be inhumanly ugly or else you couldn’t justify a man not enjoying their advances. Her approach also isn’t overly creepy, just a tender kiss, but he is still completely justified in not liking it.
Everyone can be an abuser and everyone can be a victim. No boundary can negate. Gender, race, religion, etc. does not have any weight in the situation when it comes down to sexual abuse or rape. It is the same of course for other variety of situations but since it’s on the topic of sexual assault and grooming, that’s the situation I’m emphasizing.
I unfortunately was groomed when I was 11 to 12 by a 20 something year old man on discord.. He gained trust and manipulated and talked about..explicit stuff with me and all that stuff..I knew it was wrong and I was so scared. But I didn’t tell anyone because at the same time I cared about him.. I *trusted* him. One day when I turned 12 I finally had enough of what he was doing to me and so I left a server he put me in , unfriended him and blocked him. I’m so glad I could get myself out of that situation and I’m glad nothing happened to me physically..though the disgusting shit he talked about and said to me and asked me to do (obvi refused) still sticks with me.. Though I’m free now :))
You did good, some people gets in things like that for years ..the 20 something category Is usually the manipulator one ..i had a chat friend like that , a girl ..so involved , sweet and supportive ( and needy but you know , She seemed so pure and sweet )and all but It was fake , She gradually showed herself as narcissist ,putting sexual stuff i didnt want to talk about in chat , like A LOT, and was gross stuff ..then i became depressed and She said She would not care of my problems ( i wanted to talk you know ..) ..i ignored her for two years then She texted , i replied something cold and generic but She had blocked me ( tricking me into thinking She was in danger , i checked and She werent ) .some people want a friend , others want a pet
I like the mention of the “every guy’s dream, right?” idea. So many sexual abuse victims that are male are told that it’s a boy’s fantasy, especially when a male student is abused by a female teacher. Not only are they downplaying the seriousness of the abuse, but they’re also glorifying it, which is truly awful.
@@memesdear2323 Bro look at the comment section there are idiots saying that the boys were lucky and they want to have that happen to them too I swear.
My dad works a 11pm to 7am work shift and he always is trying to catch up on sleep. My dad mentioned her being very insistant and rather uncomfortable in her constant asking, so my dad never agreed to let her take care of us because of that off vibe she gave. We recently saw on the news that this women was now being sentenced to prison for multiple child abuse crimes. Kinda makes me wonder what could of happened.
Your dad has ultra instinct and you’re lucky for that. I’m glad you dodged a bullet there. It’s terrible what she did and I’m glad those victims got at least some justice.
It’s similar to using gods name in vain witch is different than saying Jesus Christ or what people usually say it means using god to your bad or evil advantage just like churches in the mideval times where they say if you give me Thai much amount of money I will forgive all your sins
Same. Im catholic and their is a huge problem with pedophilia in the catholic. Church it really sucks that people can call themselves fearful of god and still do this kind of shit.
As a male victim of child sex trafficking I appreciate the message this sends. Some demons refuse to let you escape. But with knowledge and preparation and the comfort to know someone understands comes the strength to resist. Sometimes resistance is impossible. It's forgiveness of one's self that can allow for healing. Anyone who has been abused...you are wonderful and beautiful and it's going to be ok. Never blame yourself and always know there is a second chance....feeling lost is natural, we all walk down roads that are filled with many surprises, both good and bad. Sometimes you will reach a tree fallen on the road and not know where to go. Turn back? Climb over? Take a turn? It's confusing ..no one path is perfect for everyone ..but don't ever give up. Seek comfort In family, friends, and compatriots. Those who love you will stay those who don't will leave. Most importantly of all don't let anyone make you lose sight of your true self...losing yourself and becoming someone else to suit another's whimsy is a true hell forgetting who you are.....it can be a lifelong journey to rediscover your true self ...just never lose sight of who you are. We love you. The whole internet 100s of thousands of people we got your back so yeah. Abuse victims...you never give up. Never ever ever.
Well, for me it's more of the prossess of waiting. I heard from some documentary that your cells die out and grow in new ones so that in seven years, it'll technically be a body that your abuser never touched.
I love this channel, it shows others what people think while they r being harassed, and unfortunately i have been harased like this before. People just say" oh. Here’s a quote i found from someone “If you found a church that isn’t for you, a church that seems to be corrupted, a church that allows these stuff that is clearly against the word of God, a church that is blasphemy, a church that has leaders who aren’t they are supposed to be… You are allowed to walk away from that church, you can freely leave, But one thing.. *Don’t walk away from Christ/God :)*
People complaing this is getting recommended to them, but honestly this is a really good video and I'm glad it got recommended to me, it deserves to be shared and known
For all those who are questioning why this is in their recommendations the answer is yes, it is due to TH-cam algorithm but that doesn’t necessarily make it meaningless. During this pandemic children are at home far more than usual due to the quarantine and as you know, child abuse tends to happen at home and in private places more than anything else leaving children victim to abuse exposed to 10 times more abuse than usual. This recommendation is also being sent to a certain range of ages, estimated to be from ages 12-17 years old.

I hate when people disregard online grooming or say to “just block them”
Yeah don’t block them send the messages to the authorities

As a victim of SA thank you. No one ever told me this really. You made my day
My dad works a 11pm to 7am work shift and he always is trying to catch up on sleep. When me and my brother were little there was a lady who worked for our school that always asked my dad if she could baby sit us.

Evil people that hide behind God sicken me
It’s similar to using gods name in vain witch is different than saying Jesus Christ or what people usually say it means using god to your bad or evil advantage just like churches in the mideval times where they say if you give me Thai much amount of money I will forgive all your sins

Never ever ever.

thank you for raising awareness about grooming, and especially with male representation. Males are often depicted as the abusers and not the abused.
