I start loving Italian in my job last year, my best friend in my job is Italian and he always said to me that I can speak Italian cause I speak Spanish. I tried and I can say it's my favorite language. I like the way you make it. congratulations with a kiss
Thanks so much Desiree! What another great video! You are so pleasant to watch and listen to, and your humor and smile really helps one to learn your language :) Love the visuals too - very helpful :)
Ciao Desiree! I just got back. I went to Ischia, Amalfi, Positano, saw Pompei and then went to Rome. It was amazing. Ate a lot but walked so much that I didn't gain weight. jaja. I have to say, the videos helped me a lot as I was able to communicate pretty regularly with people in Italian. Two Italians asked me where I had learned it and if I had Italian parents. I will definitely continue to practice!
Io amo l'Italia .. Saluti 😎
casa accogliente... that's really important: you really need to feel at home somewhere to have a good time. You might use such an occasion to do quite serious things, because when everyone feels comfortable one can discuss and agree on many things just at home - sometimes just invite someone at your home instead of having all the e-mail stuff. And also: You don't need either an expensive house or a small apartment - it only needs to be accogliente - for business-issues and also for private problems: it always supports you... Never hesitate to ask someone to turn your apartment into a 'sympathic cave'! There are some guys out there, which would be very delighted to just give you some tips - small but effectiv ones. "Just put the lamp in this corner" or: "Go into a secondhand shop and just buy a picture there with lots of blue in it"...
+brainman67 Hi brainman67, "che," meaning "that," is a relative pronoun, while "quella," also meaning "that," is a demonstrative. Here are two examples: La mela, che è sul tavolo, è rossa. => "The apple, that is on the table, is red." Quella mela sul tavolo è rossa. => "That apple on the table is red." E "signore" e "padre" sono nella lista ma "signora" e "madre" non appare nemmeno. Donne sembrano essere minore che gli animali ("animale" sì è nella lista)
