your grandpa's 70 and myself have something in common, we both came about in 1956 and I have days when I start up like the 70 does....but the main thing is I'd rather watch you guys than just about any sit-com that is on TV , except for maybe reruns of Andy Griffith ...LOL ........hope all is well with your family,
12:42 - I love this night time footage! I kind of miss it in the newer videos, so if the opportunity ever rises again, I would love to see it. I used to do farming, so I know it well, but it is still something else to see all the wheels turning late at night.... That is very special, in these conditions at least. If you´re a farmer you´ll know.
What a blessing to have an original piece of grandpa's farm machinery! I'm always glad to see those hanging around the modern farm. Always serves as a reminder of who you are and where you've been. That 70 sounds beautiful!
Love the video and watching you guys......you rock. Love listening to the accent and it totally reminds me of home! Keep up the good work.......love your channel......totally never miss it! Go get ummmmmmmm Blessings and we do love our farmers! Thank God for all of you!
Chet you should be very proud of that old 70,that is your grandfather's tractor and means quite a bit to him, that tractor could most likely be the main part of where your farm is today, plus it would be a great video of you and your grandfather riding together in the combine and telling us about some of your times together, and tell your father the front of the 70 is a roll amatic, some of john deere better inventions, give your grandfather a hug best thing of your day, have a wonderful harvest
I LITERALY JUST FINISHED WATCHING YOU GET THIS GOING, AND NOW YOU HAVE DONE ALL THE WORK TO PUT IT IN WORKING, WOW THANK YOU FOR GETTING THEDEERE 70 TRACTOR GOING AGAIN
Great job big swede!! Also good job Chet trusting him with a camera. He's a natural . He is part of your channel now!!!! Thanks for the awesome content guys!
I'm from Michigan and there isn't anything better than seeing two combines in the field at night. I know it's a lot work for you farmers but for us bystanders it's a sight to see. Stay safe.
Good thing you got the pony motor all fixed up. Getting harder and harder to get parts for them. The old girl runs great. Probably lots of great memories for your dad.
It’s the Roll-O-Matic, front end, on the 70. When one wheel encounters an obstacle it has to go up and over, the other wheel will drop down, lessening the total distance the front of the tractor rises.
I really enjoy this site for it gives me an idea of what a friend of mine goes thru every year with his farm. He and his family have about 800 - 900 acres that they crop farm in Belgrade Minnesota. He is my son's father in law. He is a great guy and I personally got to see his equipment barn and all those HUGE green machines of his.....it was awesome!! I can really appreciate the all the work that goes into this sort of farming. I was raised in SW Missouri and we were Hog farmers. Keep up the good work.
The harvest videos are quality material. Love the banter in the shop. Yah, that’s where I would have put the bolt too. Can never find an open tray!! Have a safe harvest.
This channel is getting better by the day, great job, and glad to see the big sweed with his own cam, looks like long days but you guys love it and this time of year that you all worked so hard to get to, I hope that it's a successful year and yield this year for all the great farmers who we love and support. Thank you all for your patriotism and providing food for the world, it largely goes unnoticed but we all love our farmers. the best people on the planet as far as I'm concerned. keep up the great work y'all
If you drove farmalls you thought that the roll-a-matic was very futuristic. A groundhog hole would make a believer out of ya. Those steel spokes on a farmall steering wheel would bring tears of joy to ya.
Hey Chet! What a great video...... Lots of variety, so much going on and the editing, very well put together! Love that 70, nice to see it start so easy and running around, sounds great! Thanks for all you guys do to share your life with us! Please stay safe and healthy!
Love the Swede Cam keep it happening Eric . We are in for some awesome footage this harvest . Not as much pressure on Chet to deliver the content . Doug being a hoon you have to love it 😂
Speaking of old diesels , I worked for a garage way back in the ice age. And across the street was a home heating an A/C company. They delivered home heating oil in 3000 or 4000 gallon oil trucks. Well, you would not believe the smoke when they started 3 or 4 of these diesels at the same time in the morning, during the winter months ! ! It filled the entire neighborhood with thick black smoke !, Every morning !! I found out why they smoked so much one morning, when I saw a worker filling the trucks, with the home heating oil !!! They never bought diesel fuel, they used home heating oil !! LOL ! Ah memories....they're all I have left. peace out !
Good to see the Jd 70 up and going !!!!! Poor merlins grass at least it will all be brown soon from frost so he don't have to look at it just hope it greens up when rest of yard does 😬 Thanks for the video!! 🇺🇸✅
Hey I screwed up just a little bit I'm 65 year old I have the right to get names confused Chet made for the past word to his wife that she is doing an outstanding job on the videos. I really enjoy listening to the music she chooses
You guys don't mess around! Most farmers that I've seen on You Tube have a seed tender pulled behind a big pickup truck. You guys got yours behind a semi-truck, because it's so big!
YES Roll-O-Matic. I did not the pleasure of that...... the "letter tractors" had a solid front end. Its about time we saw the 70 out and about. (That 70 is the only rear tractor on your place). Keep up the good work.
Just imagine how much new fangled equipment that old 70 has seen come and go in the 60+ years it’s been there, and how much more it will see in years to come.
One should never board without the captains invitation or permission. Did I hear Eric say "this corn looks like little balls"? Good video Winny. Peace.
15:20 - me during harvest or planting. The older I get the more I get the munchies when I’m stuck in the cab. I guess it is incentive to keep my equipment cabs clean - three second rule is hard to follow when you have cattle, too.
Be careful with that DEF tote outside it can freeze down as high as 5-10 degree. We have that issue over at the trucking company I drive for just north of you guys over in Wisconsin. Like all the banners in the shop, Always a Fan #3
I grew up picking ear corn with a 720 diesel and front mount cultivator. When I quit helping on the farm I was running a 8820 and 19 row cultivator behind a 4440 fun fun
Finally a Swede Cam...need more of it!
We have that same tote been outside 4 years never had a issue !
Swede*
I’m having a total man crush. More BIG SWEEDE

So good to see you got grandpa JD 70 going love the sound of the older tractors.
That tractor of your Grandpa's is a heckuva testament to how much farming has changed since his time 👏
12:42 - I love this night time footage! I kind of miss it in the newer videos, so if the opportunity ever rises again, I would love to see it. I used to do farming, so I know it well, but it is still something else to see all the wheels turning late at night.... That is very special, in these conditions at least. If you´re a farmer you´ll know.
I really like the way you guys work together, a great example
It is great to see the old John Deere running and all cleaned up! We enjoyed your video Chet!!
What a blessing to have an original piece of grandpa's farm machinery! I'm always glad to see those hanging around the modern farm. Always serves as a reminder of who you are and where you've been. That 70 sounds beautiful!

Go get ummmmmmmm
Blessings and we do love our farmers! Thank God for all of you!
I love that you guys still keep the old tractors alive, good job Larsons!
I love it when you talk to us like we’re really there. “You coming with”
Dougo is alway on the edge of a smirk or a complete rant. It makes for great content. Chet just laughs either way. Makes for a good working vibe.
Oh yes, the slow popping of that old tractor motor brings back memories. Sweet!
This is definatly the funniest farmer
Love reminiscing of hearing that old Johnny pop sound. Thanks brings back memories.
Morning chet
I watch several farms on utube
Yours is by far the most organized and clean. Good job .
The Breez
Always great seeing someone you know in a video. Ryan Hanson is a great guy!!!
Sweet harvest videos thanks to ya all and Nicole for all the editing
So glad you got that JD 70 running! I have a soft spot for old equipment on the farm.
Awww I was looking forward to a video of you fixing the pony motor on the old Deere. Enjoying the harvest videos. 👍
When it 1st goes to Eric in the dark and he's eating it reminded me of the terminator. Good luck with the harvest and stay safe.
Eric looks like the main character of terminator: salvation
Love seeing that old iron run
I LITERALY JUST FINISHED WATCHING YOU GET THIS GOING, AND NOW YOU HAVE DONE ALL THE WORK TO PUT IT IN WORKING, WOW THANK YOU FOR GETTING THEDEERE 70 TRACTOR GOING AGAIN
When I was a kid (I'm 77 this month), I spent thousands of hours on diesel 70... I loved every minute...
The front end on that 70 is called a roll a matic. it was a pretty innovative invention from John Deere. love the videos.
Stay safe.
Love the old JD and its unique put put sound. Reminds me of my childhood in SW Manitoba Canada . Our neighbour had one or two.
Yep, that would be it!!! Always rode smooth compared to... *cough cough*
Yup
What I love about those old tractors is that safety was not a priority 😂 the original full send
Awesome job!!
Doug, you go through organizers like I do, love it. Great videos, love watching.
Bravo pour la vidéo d'Eric👍
J'adore ces vieux tracteurs, c'est de mon époque😂
great vid chet, good to see the big swede getten in there, nice work nicole!
God bless the farmers!🇺🇸🇺🇸

Was great to see the 70 JD, we had a 60 but had the wide front, with a no.5 JD 7ft. sickle mower
Brings back lots of memories
Loved seeing that 70 running!
Fantastic video. Yield looks good.
I am in Canada but available to drive a combine. But must have fun at work.
My dad had a 70 diesel when he farmed. That brought back fond memories.
The harvest videos are quality material. Love the banter in the shop. Yah, that’s where I would have put the bolt too. Can never find an open tray!! Have a safe harvest.

I really love the music y'all play in the videos. Tell Cole she's doing an outstanding job. She's good to have around.
Jeff Irons : This isn’t the cornstar channel !
That old row crop tractor is a real beauty! It´s worth a ton more than she can do, so either take good care of her, or sell her to someone who cares.
Combined wheat a couple times for my uncle about 100 years ago it seems...always enjoyed running the green machine
love Eric running a camera and the OSHA plug!
Cool , Eric did great. Loved the night harvesting.
If you drove farmalls you thought that the roll-a-matic was very futuristic. A groundhog hole would make a believer out of ya. Those steel spokes on a farmall steering wheel would bring tears of joy to ya.
Thumbs on the outside of the steering wheel!
Did Farmalls of the same era require pony motors?
Really enjoy listening to that O'l Johnny Pop run.
I maybe way off base but Nicole your editing is Awesome! Great stuff here love the enthusiasm! Without you all we don't eat.
Man, industrial farming is such an effort!
Aww the old roll-o-matic that was a awesome design was very comfortable ride
Hey Chet! What a great video...... Lots of variety, so much going on and the editing, very well put together! Love that 70, nice to see it start so easy and running around, sounds great! Thanks for all you guys do to share your life with us! Please stay safe and healthy!
looking great fellas! being on the chaser bin with my dad in the harvester as a kid in school brings back good memories.
Love the Swede Cam keep it happening Eric . We are in for some awesome footage this harvest . Not as much pressure on Chet to deliver the content . Doug being a hoon you have to love it 😂
Nicki you're doing a good job editing... the big Swede is now going to now become the new Rock and a TH-cam/TV star
Speaking of old diesels , I worked for a garage way back in the ice age. And across the street was a home heating an A/C company. They delivered home heating oil in 3000 or 4000 gallon oil trucks. Roll-O-Matic my 1950 John deere B has one its a good smooth ride for sure
Best of luck with harvest!!!
Really good content, photography, explanations, music and editing made it possible for me a non-farmer, to understand what is going on. Thanks.
Love old tractor 👍
Love the content. Makes me happy to remember harvest time
Those old Johny Poppers are fun to work on and restore.
Good to see the Jd 70 up and going !!!!! Poor merlins grass at least it will all be brown soon from frost so he don't have to look at it just hope it greens up when rest of yard does 😬 Thanks for the video!! 🇺🇸✅
Hot damn another safe day of harvest and good content. Big sweed needs to do more videos segments.
Nice Choice of Music Nicole. Made me chuckle.
Man O Man, I really love the old "Johnny Poppers" especially the diesel ones.
Farmed with a Model “R”, first diesel tractor JD built. They ran forever, one of the best machines JD ever built. Miss that two cylinder sound.
Love the sound of the Johnny Popper!
I love those old pony motors. The first tractor I ever drove farming was a John Deere 820, 2cyl.
Always love seeing the America flags on your machinery, it makes me proud...
Hey I screwed up just a little bit I'm 65 year old I have the right to get names confused
Chet made for the past word to his wife that she is doing an outstanding job on the videos. I really enjoy listening to the music she chooses
Boy those beans look good , that was a badass shot with the two combines staggered in the dark !
Always amazed that you drive the combines home every night. Not that that is a bad thing.
Roll-O-Matic, Dugo! :-)
More Merlin tellin' stories, PLEASE!
Great content in all aspects!! Makes me miss harvest. Be safe out there!!
You guys don't mess around! Most farmers that I've seen on You Tube have a seed tender pulled behind a big pickup truck. You guys got yours behind a semi-truck, because it's so big!
Lightning placement on the combine and header looks great
That's some rig you have there. It's really exploded with camera's and all the computer equipment. Keep these vids coming.
YES Roll-O-Matic. I did not the pleasure of that...... the "letter tractors" had a solid front end. Its about time we saw the 70 out and about. (That 70 is the only rear tractor on your place). Keep up the good work.
The later A's and G's had Roll-O-Matic. The mower looks like a JD #5. Dad bought a JD G in 1956. Hand cranked it for many years.
Love the 70 !
Roll-o-matic front end! Had one on my 1956 JD 60.
Nice video guys! Thanks!
Love the banjo music.
5:28 Dougo loves driving that tractor, like being on an old Harley...just slower, lol.
And better
The front end on the old John Deeres like that were called "Roll-o-matic".
Yup a Roll-o-matic and there is a sticker that goes in there with a s shape sticker
@@kadinadams8425 We had a 60 as well but it was a hi-crop. They were a nice tractor to operate.
And if you've ever driven an M&M or a Farmall across rough ground, you will know immediately how great Roll-o-matic was.
Like the farmer h
Just imagine how much new fangled equipment that old 70 has seen come and go in the 60+ years it’s been there, and how much more it will see in years to come.
Thanks fella's for the video and keep on beaning.

I grew up picking ear corn with a 720 diesel and front mount cultivator. When I quit helping on the farm I was running a 8820 and 19 row cultivator behind a 4440 fun fun
love it 70 d was my first tractor age 15 1972
purring like a cat the 70 is looking great and sounding great
It is not possible for a Deere to purr like a Cat.
Enjoying the show
Beauty video Chet you and your family are amazing
I been working on getting my antique tractor running better for three years now. It’s a Allis Chalmers B
As Doug pulls out of the shop I can hear the Green Acres song.
Great video thanks
