I actually really like the fact that Dean is so against the fact of being a believer, but he's willing to believe it all if it helps save his brother. It's crazy, because Dean can be very amusingly childish sometimes, but he can also be very serious when it comes to the life and safety of Sam. That's what I love about him; That's some real gangster shit.. In addition to Jensen having his own album Radio Company you can also see numerous clips on TH-cam of him singing covers at SPN conventions. A favorite of mine was when he sang Wanted Dead or Alive with Corey Taylor who is a actual fan of SPN.
@@johnvonundzu2170 I didn’t realize that. I was speaking more from the lore that Kripke originally intended the show to be five seasons and as such had a beginning and end in mind. Without trying to spoil too much in case Davion or Cam read this, all throughout there is not only foreshadowing, but parts that seem like a throwaway fact or line but hit harder once you see the full picture.
Dean is the momma’s boy, while Sam is a LOT like John. They combine elements of both, but the parallels are drawn clear between them. Sam and John are the ones driven by revenge, the stubborn hot-heads; they were too alike and that’s why they argued all the time. Whereas Dean is more sensitive and much of his pain is wrapped up in losing Mary.
Sam went off to college because he didn't want to live the life of a Hunter. He and John were always at odds. Dean's memories of his mom are the memories of a four year old boy. I think the dead priest knew that the people did something bad because they could have confessed to him when he was alive, the first guy killed someone (had a body and a fingernail in his house) and the second one was talking to a 13 year old:)
Yep. That's exactly how he knew. That's why Rome was so powerful during the middle ages, and why the protestant reform was fought with force. They used someone's fear of God to force them into confessing their sins to an intermediary who's identity was shielded, and those confessions were used to control kings. This is still a practice that is used even today...except it's not done specifically by "the church" anymore...the mafia and mob families (and other organized gangs) have members that become priests to keep them in the know.
A mosque is the Islamic equivalent of a church in Christianity, or a synogogue in Judaism. Rona Downey is an Irish actress; she used to be on a show about angels. Yes, Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, sings and plays guitar. He has one full album out with his band, Radio Company (himself and his friend Steve Carlson, and some other friends), and they have started to release songs from their second album. Whoopi Goldberg was the medium in the movie Ghost. Father Gregory answered the other priest's prayer for help in cleaning up the neighborhood. He knew who the evil people in the congregation were, the 3 men who were stabbed, because he had taken their confessions while he was alive.
The first guy killed someone that was the fingernail in the wall The second guy was an older man and was going to meet a 13 year old girl, also next episode is in top 3 of the season can’t wait for that reaction !!!
Father Gregory knew because they were members of his church before he died and he heard the victims confessions. Probably because he didn’t get last rites he wasn’t at peace and as spirit used that information to help.
@@mizixy9624 But that only works for the first man, the one who killed his victims. The second one was a paedophile whose victims were 1. alive, and 2. didn't even know they were being victimized. And the third guy, as far as we know hadn't committed a crime yet. If you take it that the priest took the confessions from the bad guys, it makes sense that after he died he knew who to target. The first guy confesses to murder, the second confesses to targeting kids, and the third that he has violent urges against women. The priest can't do anything while alive because of the seal of the confessional, but now he's an 'angel' he can stop these evil men.
Yeah, I think it's heavily implied that, as a deeply religious man, Father Gregory wasn't a spirit so much because of his violent death, but because he didn't get last rites. Not only does the other priest mention it, but it's what allows him to finally rest/let go
Jensen Ackles, who plays Dean, does make music actually. He makes more so country music, but i recommend u guys give it a listen cuz it’s really good, he’s apart of a music duo called “Radio Company”🥺🤧
Well, i always believed that when Dean said "maybe it's god's will" it was more for Sam. 'Cause he saw his little brother upset and hopeless so he wanted to give him a little comfort and hope. The actor of Dean (Jensen Ackles) makes indeed music. He and his friend founded their music group "Radio Company" and their album is great. He also released a Solo Song I think ^^
At the end there that wasn't Dean Believing. That was him seeing his younger brother give up on something that he deeply believes in. Something that makes Sam believe that he can be saved from the darkness he has in him. And that was a big brother saying something to make his brother continue believing in something, something that gives him hope.
It’s so true though watching supernatural makes you question everything and you start getting confused about what’s actually real in religion and what’s from the show 😂
the two people that killed earlier in the episode needed redemption for their mistakes in life, even before killing those people. Sam feels like he needs redemption so that is why the angel 'came to him'. Now this episode touches on religion which very few shows did back then. Roma Downey is an actress from a 90s show called Touched By An Angel. This show is loaded with 70s, 80s & 90s references. The title of this episode is the title of a Led Zeppelin album.
He knew they were evil because HE WAS A PRIEST and took their CONFESSIONS. Also, Roma Downey = "Touched By an Angel" and Whoopi = "Ghost". I'm sure someone else watching has filled in those blanks for y'all, but I wanted to make sure. Dean Winchester is the king of pop cultural references and it won't get any easier from here on out. My 2 GenZ kids watching with me asked, "Didn't their parents teach them all of that...?" LMAO.
9:13 Damm right.Tean Winchester (just the brothers) is the best, Dean is my favorite character but I can't say I'm a Dean girl or part of his team or anything like that, I love, defend and point out when the are idios, neither one is better, both are fucking awesome (with the rest of the winchester... is complicated)
Yas! for me they are equals, they both have suffered and went through a lot! And any of the brothers is best or worst than the other. I just would like a bit more of Sam apreciation because in the fandom he is sided away and is simply sad ;-;. I've been in the SPNFamily for like 8 years or something? And I've seen how Sam is kind of left behind for so many people. Is Unffair ;-;
I get what Cam is saying.. ..but at the same time.. .. Dean goes through hell..coZz heZz the older brother.. ..and as the eldest sibling myself..i can say with confidence that..when our siblings hurt.. ..we feel it more.. ..because we feel like we have a need to protect them.. ..and if we can't...it suckZz..big time.. We feel for ourselves..as well as for them.. ..
Im pretty sure Demons are said to look inviting and beautiful so they can trick you while angels can sometimes look scary (pretty sure thats why they always say " dont be afraid ") .i THINK this is why the demons are sometimes shown as beautiful in the show ( like that one demon in the other ep that changed forms based on someones ideal type ) dont quote me on this im an atheist i cant fully remember
I've heard the demon/devil bit, but angels _typically_ (not always) look mostly human. I asked my mom as a kid why the angels said "Do not be afraid" & if they looked scary/monstrous. She said it was because angels just suddenly APPEAR, and that's spook most humans (like, imagine scrolling your phone in ur room & suddenly there's some dude standing at the foot of your bed staring at you intently) and that that's why their first words are reassurance with 'be not afraid'
Jensen Ackles plays Dean Winchester and has a music company named Radio Company which is set 2 release the 2nd album on May 7th. Also has done 2 album with Jason Manns called Cover with Frieds The are lots of videos of him singing at conventions

Roma Downey is an actress from a 90s show called Touched By An Angel. This show is loaded with 70s, 80s & 90s references. The title of this episode is the title of a Led Zeppelin album.
Davion, my guy, that overshirt you're wearing is 🔥🔥🔥
He knew they were evil because HE WAS A PRIEST and took their CONFESSIONS.
Dean said "I’m not the prayin’ type, but I’ll pray for you".
Yas! for me they are equals, they both have suffered and went through a lot! And any of the brothers is best or worst than the other.
I just would like a bit more of Sam apreciation because in the fandom he is sided away and is simply sad ;-;. I've been in the SPNFamily for like 8 years or something? And I've seen how Sam is kind of left behind for so many people. Is Unffair ;-;
"Like a mosquito?" I just died 🤣😂😂 4:46 this whole conversation y'all
I love this episode. Had me all kinds of drawn in.
Nathan: Like a mosquito!???!!
Bitch I'm fuckin rolling😂😂😂😂
To Davion: Jensen did recently drop his second album a few months ago. You can listen to it on TH-cam and Spotify. His band is called Radio Company.
I love supernatural, I’m watching it for the second time.
The disgust in davions face when Cameron takes a drink of his drink is great
Nathan eating spaghetti like a normal human being and getting blitzed for it was pretty funny
Jensen has an album out with his friend Steve, their band is Radio Company. Their second album releases in May and they're working on their 3rd.
davions laugh >>>>
roma downey is from the tv show touched by an angel. she played an angel named monica i loved that show
Thank you for bringing up Charmed Davion! It’s sooo underrated!
We feel for ourselves..as well as for them.. ..
There is a video of Jensen Ackles and Corey Taylor singing bon jovi's wanted dead or Alive singing at a supernatural convention
Im pretty sure Demons are said to look inviting and beautiful so they can trick you while angels can sometimes look scary (pretty sure thats why they always say " dont be afraid ") .i THINK this is why the demons are sometimes shown as beautiful in the show ( like that one demon in the other ep that changed forms based on someones ideal type )
dont quote me on this im an atheist i cant fully remember
I've heard the demon/devil bit, but angels _typically_ (not always) look mostly human.
I asked my mom as a kid why the angels said "Do not be afraid" & if they looked scary/monstrous. She said it was because angels just suddenly APPEAR, and that's spook most humans (like, imagine scrolling your phone in ur room & suddenly there's some dude standing at the foot of your bed staring at you intently) and that that's why their first words are reassurance with 'be not afraid'
@Audrey II yeah I’ve heard they can look like humans too
Jensen Ackles plays Dean Winchester and has a music company named Radio Company which is set 2 release the 2nd album on May 7th. Also has done 2 album with Jason Manns called Cover with Frieds
The are lots of videos of him singing at conventions
Ahhh next episode is a banger..
Cameron's gonna love it😉
Omg u guys are in for a long ride and I can’t wait especially for season four it’s one of my favorites
YES!!! The next 4 episodes in a row in my opinion are the best!! I'm so so excited for ya'll to watch them
Y’all are gonna lose your MINDS on the next episode.
Davion's insult cracked me up...ass napkin lol🤣🤣🤣🤣
