The first half Leverkusen played as if they where still drunk from Celebrating the Bundesliga win. West Ham had enough chances to equalize. This was probably the worst Football Leverkusen played this season. Luckily they improved a bit after half time to keep the unbeaten run alive. Ggs West Ham you played a fantastic match👏🏼
Definitely,they might have drunk themselves to stupor. We all see their jubilations with a giant cup of beer soaking themselves all over. They need to come back to their best against Roma if they truly want more trophies and more records to be broken.

Really good performance against a world class team, all it took was that Bowen volley to go in and then I reckon we'd probably go on to win the game and probably the whole tie too but wasn't to be in the end, there's no shame in losing to the team that will probably go on to win it though

@@BradleyVelington West Ham lost because they were playing football only in one of four times 45 minutes. In the first match they were so frightened to leave their own box that Leverkusen's goalkeeper could have spent the evening at home with his family. And in the return match West Ham had no gas left in the tank after 50 minutes.
After watching that I wouldn't agree with them being a world class team...that Bundesliga is piss poor to be brutally honest and west ham so nearly pulled it off...and having a bloody referee officiating as bad as that then there you have it...we did everything right..outplayed them kicked the shit out of them and made them look 3rd rate...and wen you sub a player after 30 mins cos he's getting wiped the floor with just about backs it all up...well played west ham!

They just won the league and still in hangover of that beer showers, they were tied with juventus with 42 match for all time unbeaten record so it was going to be a difficult task for leverkusen anyway. Just watch the first leg if you think this is the best leverkusen can play. This is probably the worst they played in whole season.

‘Semifinal Stage’ I see the Club is bigging up the reality as usual, had we actually lost the semifinal one presumes we would in their eyes have been Cup runners up. Probably best however NOT to give Moyes any further room for self grandisement it just might go to his head methinks when it come to trophy boasting. However back to reality the team did everyone proud, gave their all, gave Leverkusen the fright of their lives and left us thinking if only we had strengthened in Jan rather than weakened, we might just have reached an actual semi final again and without Liverpool and Leverkusen who knows what might have happened, yet another what if moment for the Club.

Of the four halves played in this tie, one half went to West Ham and three halves went to Leverkusen. Leverkusen being about three times better, which is also reflected in the aggregate result (3-1), seems pretty accurate to me.

Take into account you only just undid west ham in the 1st leg by 9 mins and in the 2and leg by 2 mins says it all matey...west ham should av been out of sight by half time with a dodgy keeper 2 central defenders who had about as much pace as a no9 bus.. like I say..Bundesliga not what it used to be...not a premier league fan by a long shot just like to watch good footy matches at the weekends...can remember when hearts did bayern Munich in the late 80s then came within inches of doing em at the Olympic stadium...west ham know what they are.. ..European champions!
